¹³ At his voice he giveth a multitude of waters in the heaven, and lifteth up the clouds from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings for rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

²³ And Moses stretched forth his rod towards heaven, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightnings running along the ground: and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

¹⁷ Is it not wheat harvest to day? ² Hear ye attentively the terror of his voice, and the sound that cometh out of his mouth. ³ He beholdeth under all the heavens, and his light is upon the ends of the earth. ⁴ After it a noise shall roar, he shall thunder with the voice of his majesty, and shall not be found out, when his voice shall be heard. ⁵ God shall thunder wonderfully with his voice, he that doth great and unsearchable things.

²² Hast thou entered into the storehouses of the snow, or hast thou beheld the treasures of the hail:

²⁵ Who gave a course to violent showers, or a way for noisy thunder: ²⁶ That it should rain on the earth without man in the wilderness, where no mortal dwelleth: ²⁷ That it should fill the desert and desolate land, and should bring forth green grass?

³⁴ Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that an abundance of waters may cover thee? ³⁵ Canst thou send lightnings, and will they go, and will they return and say to thee: Here we are?

^{13 (18:14)} And the Lord thundered from heaven, and the Highest gave his voice: hail and coals of fire.

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters. ⁴ The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence. ⁵ The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus. ⁶ And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns. ⁷ The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire: ⁸ The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades. ⁹ The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory. ¹⁰ The Lord maketh the flood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever.

^{33 (68:34)} Who mounteth above the heaven of heavens, to the east. Behold he will give to his voice the voice of power:

⁷ He bringeth up clouds from the end of the earth: he hath made lightnings for the rain. He bringeth forth winds out of his stores:

¹⁷ They have ears, but they hear not: neither is there any breath in their mouths.

⁸ Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.

¹ Ask ye of the Lord rain in the latter season, and the Lord will make snows, and will give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
