² Shaul chooses three thousand of Yisra El for himself: whereof two thousand are with Shaul in Michmash and in mount Beth El; and a thousand are with Yah Nathan in Gibah of Ben Yamin: and of the rest of the people he sends each man to his tent.

²⁸ and Sela, Chiliarch and Yebusi which is Yeru Shalem Gibath and Qiryath - fourteen cities with their courts. - this is the inheritance of the sons of Ben Yamin according to their families.

¹² And his adoni says to him, We turn not aside into the city of a stranger who is not of the sons of Yisra El: but we pass over to Gibah.

¹¹ and he says, This becomes the judgment of the sovereign who reigns over you: He takes your sons and sets them for himself for his chariots and for his cavalry; at the face of his chariots;

²⁶ and Shaul also goes to his house to Gibah; and with him, go valiant men whose hearts Elohim touches.

⁵ and the Peleshethiy gather to fight Yisra El - thirty thousand chariots and six thousand cavalry - people as the sand on the sea lip in abundance: and they ascend and encamp in Michmash eastward from Beth Aven.

²³ and the standing camp of the Peleshethiy go out to the passage of Michmash.

⁵ the tooth of the one is pillared northward opposite Michmash and the one southward opposite Gibah.

³¹ And that day they smite the Peleshethiy from Michmash to Ayalon: and the people flutter mightily:

⁵² And there is tough war against the Peleshethiy all the days of Shaul: and when Shaul sees any mighty man or any son of valour, he gathers him to him.

³⁴ And Shemu El goes to Ramah; and Shaul ascends to his house to Gibah of Shaul:

⁶ give us seven men of his sons and we impale them to Yah Veh in Gibah of Shaul, whomever Yah Veh chooses. And the sovereign says, I give them.

²⁸ He comes to Ayath; he passes to Migron; he musters his instruments at Michmash: ²⁹ they pass over the passage: they take up their lodging at Geba; Ramah trembles; Gibah of Shaul flees.
