And David comes to Nob, to Achiy Melech the priest: and Achiy Melech trembles at meeting David, and says to him, Why are you alone and no man with you? ² And David says to Achiy Melech the priest, The sovereign misvahs a word and says to me, Let no man know aught of the word whereof I send you and what I misvah you: and I have my lads know at such and such a place. ³ And now, what is under your hand? give me five bread in my hand, or whatever is found. ⁴ And the priest answers David and says, There is no profane bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; but only, if the lads guard themselves from women. ⁵ And David answers the priest and says to him, Of a truth we restrain from women as three yesters ago, since I went; and the instruments of the lads are holy; though the way be profane yes, this day it is hallowed in the instrument. ⁶ So the priest gives him the holy: for there is no bread there but the face bread which is twisted off at the face of Yah Veh, to set hot bread the day it is taken away. ⁷ And a man of the servants of Shaul is there that day, restrained at the face of Yah Veh; his name is Doeg - an Edomiy, the mighty of the tenders of Shaul. ⁸ And David says to Achiy Melech, Is there not here under your hand spear or sword? for I have neither taken my sword nor my instruments in my hand, because the word of the sovereign is urgent. ⁹ And the priest says, The sword of Golyath the Peleshethiy, whom you smote in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here veiled in a cloth behind the ephod: if in taking, take: for there is no other here except this. And David says, There is none like that; give me. ¹⁰ And David rises that day and flees the face of Shaul; and goes to Achish the sovereign of Gath. ¹¹ And the servants of Achish say to him, Is not this David the sovereign of the land? Answered they not one another in round dances thus, saying, Shaul smites his thousands and David his myriads? ¹² And David sets these words in his heart; and awes mightily at the face of Achish the sovereign of Gath: ¹³ and he changes his perception in their eyes and halals in their hands and marks on the doors of the portal and descends his saliva on his beard. ¹⁴ Then Achish says to his servants, Behold, you see the man is insane: Why bring him to me? ¹⁵ Lack I insanity, that you bring this one to play insane in my presence? - this one to come in my house?

Far be it from me! O that the sovereign set no word - neither to his servant nor to all the house of my father: for your servant knows no word of all this - less or great. ¹⁶ And the sovereign says, In dying, you die, Achiy Melech - you and all the house of your father. ¹⁷ And the sovereign says to the runners stationed around him, Turn and deathify the priests of Yah Veh: because their hand is also with David; and because they know when he flees and expose it not in my ear. And the servants of the sovereign will to not send forth their hand to encounter the priests of Yah Veh. ¹⁸ And the sovereign says to Doeg, Turn and encounter the priests. And Doeg the Edomiy turns and encounters the priests; and deathifies on that day eighty-five men bearing a linen ephod: ¹⁹ and he smites Nob, the city of the priests, with the mouth of the sword - both men and women, infants and sucklings and oxen and he burros and lambs, with the mouth of the sword.

⁶ When man apprehends his brother of the house of his father by the clothing, and says, Be our commander; and this stumblingblock is under your hand:

¹⁵ and he says to the people, Prepare against the third day; come not near your women.

³⁰ And on the table give face bread at my face continually.

And take flour and bake twelve cakes thereof - two tenths in one cake: ⁶ and set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure table at the face of Yah Veh: ⁷ and give pure frankincense on each row, on the bread to become a memorial - even a firing to Yah Veh. ⁸ On the shabbath - every shabbath day he arranges it at the face of Yah Veh continually, being taken from the sons of Yisra El by an eternal covenant. ⁹ And it becomes to Aharon and his sons; and they eat it in the holies: - a holy of holies to him of the firing to Yah Veh - an eternal statute.

⁶ So the priest gives him the holy: for there is no bread there but the face bread which is twisted off at the face of Yah Veh, to set hot bread the day it is taken away.

³ and to say to the priests in the house of Yah Veh Sabaoth and to the prophets, saying, Weep I, in the fifth month, separating myself, as I worked these so many years?

³ And he says to them, Read you not what David did when he famished - he and those with him; ⁴ how he entered the house of Elohim and ate the prothesis bread - which neither he is allowed to eat nor them with him - except only the priests?

⁵ Cheat not one another, except somehow ever by symphonizing for a season, that you have leisure for fasting and prayer; and come together again - lest Satan test you for your restraint.

²⁶ and from the basket of matsah at the face of Yah Veh, he takes one matsah cake and one cake of oiled bread and one wafer and puts them on the fat and on the right hindleg:

⁹ you steal, murder, and adulterize, and oath falsely and incense to Baal; and walk after other elohim whom you know not: ¹⁰ and then you come and stand at my face in this house on which my name is called, and say, We are rescued! in order to work all these abhorrences. ¹¹ Becomes this house, on which my name is called, a cave of tyrants in your eyes? Behold, even I see - an oracle of Yah Veh.

³¹ And they come to you as people approaching and they sit at your face as my people; and they hear your words, and work them not: for they work pantings with their mouth but their heart goes after their greedy gain:

⁵ saying, When passes the new moon, to market kernels? - the shabbath, to open grain? - to lessen the ephah and greaten the shekel? - to twist the balances by deceit?

⁸ This people approaches me with their mouth and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me:

²⁶ Then Paulos takes the men, and the day after, hallows himself with them; and enters the priestal precinct to evangelize the fulfillment/shalom of the days of hallowing, until an offering is offered for each one of them. ²⁷

And as the seven days are about to be completed/shalamed, the Yah Hudiym of Asia, when they observe him in the priestal precinct, confuse the whole multitude and lay hands on him,

⁶ and they work the ephod of gold, blue and purple, and scarlet and white twined linen, with fabricated work. ⁷ It joins the two shoulderpieces at their two ends; and so be it joined. ⁸ And the fabricated girdle of the ephod thereon is of the same according to its work - of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen. ⁹ And take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Yisra El: ¹⁰ six of their names on one stone and their six remaining names on the second stone according to their generations ¹¹ - with the work of an engraver in stone, as the engravings of a seal, engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Yisra El: work them, surrounded by brocades of gold: ¹² and put the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the sons of Yisra El: and Aharon bears their names on his two shoulders for a memorial at the face of Yah Veh: ¹³ and work brocades of gold; ¹⁴ and two chains of pure gold at the ends; work them of wreathen work and give the wreathen chains to the brocades.

² and Shaul and the men of Yisra El gather and encamp by the valley of Elah and line up for war to meet the Peleshethiy.

⁵⁰ And David prevails over the Peleshethiy with a sling and with a stone and smites the Peleshethiy and deathifies him; and there is no sword in the hand of David: ⁵¹ and David runs and stands on the Peleshethiy and takes his sword and draws it from its sheath and deathifies him and cuts off his head therewith. And the Peleshethiy see their mighty died and they flee: ⁵² and the men of Yisra El and of Yah Hudah rise and shout and pursue the Peleshethiy until you come to the valley and to the portals of Eqron: and the pierced of the Peleshethiy descend by the way to Shaarayim - to Gath and to Eqron: ⁵³ and the sons of Yisra El return from hotly pursuing the Peleshethiy and plunder their camps: ⁵⁴ and David takes the head of the Peleshethiy and brings it to Yeru Shalem; and he sets his instruments in his tent.

¹⁰ And they set his instruments in the house of Ashtaroth: and they stake his body to the wall of Beth Shaan.

DAVID AND THE PELESHETHIY
And David says in his heart, And now I become scraped away one day by the hand of Shaul: there is naught better for me than to speedily escape into the land of the Peleshethiy; so that Shaul quits seeking me any more in any border of Yisra El: and in escaping, I escape from his hand. ² And David rises and passes over with his six hundred men to Achish the son of Maoch the sovereign of Gath:

³ And he sees and rises and goes for his soul and comes to Beer Sheba, Yah Hudah and sets his lad there;

¹ By David; when he alters his taste at the face of Abi Melech; who exiles him and he goes. 1 I bless Yah Veh at all times; his halal is continually in my mouth: ² my soul halals in Yah Veh; the humble hear and cheer: ³ O greaten Yah Veh with me and exalt his name together. ⁴ I seek Yah Veh and he hears me - rescues me from all my terrors. ⁵ They look to him and sparkle; and their faces blushed not. ⁶ This humble one calls and Yah Veh hears and saves him from all his tribulations. ⁷ The angel of Yah Veh encamps around all who awe him; and rescues them. ⁸ O taste and see that Yah Veh is good; Blithe - the mighty who seek refuge in him. ⁹ Awe Yah Veh, you his holy; for there is no lack to them who awe him. ¹⁰ The whelps lack and famish; but they who seek Yah Veh lack not any good. ¹¹ Come, you sons, hearken to me; I teach you the awe of Yah Veh. ¹² What man desires life and loves days to see good? ¹³ Guard your tongue from evil and your lips from wording deceit: ¹⁴ turn from evil and work good; seek shalom and pursue it. ¹⁵ The eyes of Yah Veh are on the just and his ears to their cry. ¹⁶ The face of Yah Veh is against all who work evil, to cut off their memorial from the earth. ¹⁷ They cry and Yah Veh hears and rescues them from all their tribulations: ¹⁸ Yah Veh is near the crushed heart; and the contrite spirit he saves: ¹⁹ many are the evils of the just; Yah Veh rescues him from them all. ²⁰ He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken. ²¹ Evil deathifies the wicked; and they who hate the just guilt. ²² Yah Veh redeems the soul of his servants and none who seek refuge in him guilts.

²¹ and when Yah Yaqim the sovereign with all his mighty and all the governors, heard his words, the sovereign sought to deathify him: but when Uri Yah heard he awed and fled and went into Misrayim:

And Yah Veh says to Shemu El, How long mourn you for Shaul, seeing I refuse him to reign over Yisra El? Fill your horn with oil and go! I send you to Yishay the Beth Lechemiy: for I see a sovereign among his sons.

⁷ And the women answer as they entertain, and say, Shaul smites his thousands and David his myriads. ⁸ And Shaul inflames mightily and the word is evil in his eyes; and he says, To David they give myriads and to me they give thousands: and what more, except the sovereigndom?
