And David goes thence and escapes to the cave Adullam: and his brothers and all the house of his father hear and descend to him there. ² And every man in distress and every man who has an exactor and every man who is bitter of soul, gather themselves to him; and he becomes governor over them: - about four hundred men with him. ³ And from there, David goes to Mispeh of Moab: and he says to the sovereign of Moab, Allow my father and my mother, I beseech you, to go with you, until I know what Elohim works for me. ⁴ And he leads them at the face of the sovereign of Moab: and they settle with him all the days David is in the hold. ⁵ And the prophet Gad says to David, Settle not in the hold; go and get into the land of Yah Hudah. Then David goes and comes to the forest of Hareth. ⁶
SHAUL DEATHIFIES THE PRIESTS OF NOB
And Shaul hears that David and the men with him have been seen; - and Shaul settles in Gibah under a grove in Ramah with his spear in his hand and all his servants station around him. ⁷ And Shaul says to his servants stationed around him, Hear now, you Ben Yaminiy; Gives the son of Yishay fields and vineyards to every one of you? Sets he you all governors of thousands and governors of hundreds ⁸ that you all conspire against me? And no one exposes in my ear that my son cut with the son of Yishay? And none of you is sick for me? Far be it from me! O that the sovereign set no word - neither to his servant nor to all the house of my father: for your servant knows no word of all this - less or great. ¹⁶ And the sovereign says, In dying, you die, Achiy Melech - you and all the house of your father. ¹⁷ And the sovereign says to the runners stationed around him, Turn and deathify the priests of Yah Veh: because their hand is also with David; and because they know when he flees and expose it not in my ear. And the servants of the sovereign will to not send forth their hand to encounter the priests of Yah Veh. ¹⁸ And the sovereign says to Doeg, Turn and encounter the priests. My voice to Yah Veh, I cry; my voice to Yah Veh, I seek charism: ² I pour my meditation at his face; I tell my tribulation to his face: ³ when my spirit languishes within me, then you know my path: in the way I walk, they hide a snare for me. ⁴ I look to the right and see; no one recognizes me: retreat destructs from me; no one seeks of my soul. ⁵ I cry to you, O Yah Veh; I say, You are my refuge and my allotment in the land of the living; ⁶ hearken to my shouting for I am mightily languished: rescue me from my pursuers for they are stronger than I: ⁷ bring my soul from the lockup to spread hands to your name; the just surround me; when you deal with me.

³ For behold, Yah Veh comes from his place and descends and treads on the bamahs of the earth:

¹⁵ Yet I bring a successor to you, O settler of Mareshah: he comes to Adullam, the honor of Yisra El.

³⁸ of whom the cosmos was not worthy: wandering in wildernesses and mountains and grottos and caverns of the earth.

³ And Yiphtach flees from the face of his brothers and settles in the land of Tob: and there vain men gather to Yiphtach and go out with him.

²⁵ And the sons of Dan say to him, O that your voice not be heard among us, lest men bitter of soul encounter you and gather your soul with the souls of your household.

¹⁰ and she is bitter of soul and prays to Yah Veh: and in weeping, she weeps;

¹⁶ Tomorrow about this time I send you a man from the land of Ben Yamin: anoint him to be eminent over my people Yisra El, to save my people from the hand of the Peleshethiy: for I see my people, because their cry comes to me.

¹³ Then David and his men - about six hundred men rise and go from Qeilah: and in walking, they walk. And they tell Shaul that David escapes from Qeilah; and he ceases to go:

¹³ And David says to his men, Every man, girt his sword! - and every man girt his sword and David also girt his sword: and about four hundred men ascend after David and two hundred settle by the instruments.

¹⁵ and the men were mighty good to us and we neither shamed nor was aught overseen all the days we walked with them when we were in the fields: ¹⁶ they were a wall to us, both by night and by day, all the days we were with them tending the flock.

⁶ and David is mighty depressed; for the people say of stoning him, because the soul of all the people embitters - every man for his sons and for his daughters. And David strengthens in Yah Veh his Elohim;

²² And all the evil men of Beli Yaal, of those men who went with David, answer and say, Because they went not with us, we give them naught of the spoil we rescued, except to every man his woman and his sons to drive them away and go. ²³ And David says, Work not thus, my brothers, with what Yah Veh gives us, who guards us from the troop that come against us and gives them into our hand. ²⁴ And who hearkens to you in this word? but as his allotment, who descends to the war, thus his allotment, who settles by his instruments - they allot unitedly.

² Also three yesters ago, when Shaul was sovereign over us, it was you who brought out and brought in Yisra El: and Yah Veh said to you, Tend my people Yisra El! Be eminent over Yisra El!

And David willed to not drink of it but poured it out to Yah Veh ¹⁹ and said, My Elohim, far be it from me to work this: I - Drink I the blood of these men with their souls? For by their souls they bring it. - and he willed to not drink. The three mighty worked these.

¹² For he rescues the needy who cries - the humble and he who has no helper; ¹³ he spares the poor and needy and saves the souls of the needy: ¹⁴ he redeems their soul from fraud and violence; and esteems their blood in his eyes:

⁶ Give intoxicants to those destructing and wine to the bitter of soul

¹² And Yah Shua hears, and says to them, The able need no healer, but they who are ill: ¹³ but you go and learn what this is, I will mercy and not sacrifice: for I come not to call the just; but sinners to repentance.

¹² And from the days of Yahn the Baptizer until now the sovereigndom of the heavens is taken by force: and the enforcers take it.

THE INVITATION OF YAH SHUA TO REST
Come to me all you belabored and overburdened and I rest you:

²⁵ and having naught to give, his adoni summons to sell him and his woman and children, and all - as much as he has and to give back. ²⁶ So the servant falls and worships him, wording, Adoni, have patience with me and I give you all. ²⁷ And the adoni of that servant has a sympathetic spleen, and releases him, and forgives his debt. ²⁸ But the same servant goes and finds one of his co-servants who is indebted a hundred denarion: and he overpowers him and strangles him, wording, Give me your debt. ²⁹ And his co-servant falls to his feet, and beseeches him, wording, Have patience with me and I give you all. ³⁰ And he wills not: but goes and casts him into a guardhouse until he gives the debt. ³¹ So when his co-servants see what became, they are extremely sorrowed, and come and tell their adoni all that became. ³² Then his adoni, after he calls him, words to him, O you evil servant, I forgave you all that debt because you besought me: ³³ Ought you not also mercy your co-servant even as I mercied you? ³⁴ - and his adoni is wroth and delivers him to the torturers, until he gives all he is indebted.

¹⁰ For it befitted him, for whom the all, and through whom the all, in bringing many sons to glory to complete/shalam the hierarch of their salvation through sufferings.

¹¹ and Yoseph settles his father and his brothers and gives them a possession in the land of Misrayim - in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Paroh misvahed.

¹² Honor your father and your mother: that your days be prolonged on the soil which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you.

²⁹ and the Spirit of Yah Veh comes on Yiphtach: and he passes over Gilad and Menash Sheh and passes over Mispeh of Gilad; and from Mispeh of Gilad he passes over the sons of Ammon.

RUTH AND NOOMIY
And so be it, in the days the judges judge, a famine is in the land. And a man of Beth Lechem Yah Hudah goes to sojourn in the fields of Moab; he and his woman and his two sons. ² And the name of the man, Eli Melech and the name of his woman, Noomiy and the name of his two sons, Machlon and Kilyon - Ephrathiym of Beth Lechem Yah Hudah. And they come into the fields of Moab and continue there. ³ And Eli Melech, the man of Noomiy dies; and she and her two sons survive. ⁴ And they birth women of Moab; the name of the one, Orpah and the name of the second, Ruth; and they settle there about ten years.

¹⁰ and I also chatteled Ruth the Moabiyth the woman of Machlon, to be my woman, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead not be cut off from among his brothers and from the portal of his place; you are witnesses this day.

¹⁷ And the women, her fellow tabernaclers, call out, saying, There a son is birthed to Noomiy; and they call his name Obed - he is the father of Yishay, the father of David.

¹⁸ And Shemu El tells him every word and conceals naught from him. And he says, It is Yah Veh: may he work what seems good in his eyes.

⁴⁷ and Shaul captures the sovereigndom over Yisra El and fights all his enemies all around - against Moab and against the sons of Ammon and against Edom and against the sovereigns of Sobah and against the Peleshethiy: and wherever he turns his face, he deals wickedly:

²⁵ And the sovereign says to Sadoq, Turn back the ark of Elohim into the city: if I find charism in the eyes of Yah Veh he turns me back and has me see it and his habitation of rest: ²⁶ and if he says thus: I delight not in you! Behold, I - may he work to me as seems good in his eyes.

⁴ For Elohim misvahed, wording, Honor your father and mother: and, Whoever vilifies father or mother, deathify him to death. ⁵ But you word, Whoever says to his father or his mother, An oblation - by whatever you benefit by me; ⁶ and in no way honors his father or his mother. - thus you invalidate the misvah of Elohim for your tradition. ^{Exodus 20:12, 21:17}

²³ So indeed, I hope to send him immediately, as soon as ever I see how it goes with me. ²⁴ And I confide in Adonay that I myself also come shortly.

⁴ and if any widow has children or descendants, have them first learn reverence in their own house; and to give recompense to their progenitors: for that is good and acceptable in sight of Elohim.

DAVID SAVES QEILAH
And they tell David, saying, Behold, the Peleshethiy fight Qeilah; and they plunder the threshingfloors. ² And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Go I and smite these Peleshethiy? And Yah Veh says to David, Go and smite the Peleshethiy and save Qeilah. ³ And the men of David say to him, Behold, we awe here in Yah Hudah! How much more, if we come to Qeilah against the ranks of the Peleshethiy? ⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand. ⁵ So David and his men go to Qeilah and fight the Peleshethiy and drive their chattel and smite them with a great stroke: thus David saves the settlers of Qeilah. ⁶
SHAUL PURSUES DAVID
And so be it, Abi Athar the son of Achiy Melech flees to David to Qeilah, and he descends with an ephod in his hand:

¹¹ And David rises in the morning, and the word of Yah Veh comes to the prophet Gad, the seer of David, saying,

¹⁶ And some of the sons of Ben Yamin and Yah Hudah come to the hunthold to David.

⁹ And Yah Veh words to Gad the seer of David, saying,

²⁹ And the words of David the sovereign, first and last, behold, they are inscribed in the words of Shemu El the seer and in the words of Nathan the prophet and in the words of Gad the seer;

²⁵ And he stands the Leviym in the house of Yah Veh with cymbals, with bagpipes and with harps, according to the misvah of David and of Gad the seer of the sovereign and Nathan the prophet: for thus is the misvah by the hand of Yah Veh by the hand of his prophets:

¹¹ And I say, Such a man as I - flee? And who - who am I to go into the manse to live? I go not in.

¹ To His Eminence; By David. In Yah Veh I seek refuge; how say you to my soul, Wander as a bird to your mountain?

¹² You, say not, Conspiracy, to all them to whom this people say, Conspiracy; neither awe their awesomeness, nor be awed. ¹³ Hallow Yah Veh Sabaoth himself to be your awe and to be your dread. ¹⁴ And he becomes for a holies; and for a stone of stubbing and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Yisra El for a snare; and for a snare to the settlers of Yeru Shalem:

SHAUL FEARS DAVID
And so be it, on the morrow, the evil spirit from Elohim prospers on Shaul; and he prophesies midst the house: and David strums with his hand, as day by day: and there is a spear in the hand of Shaul:

⁹ And the evil spirit from Yah Veh is on Shaul, as he settles in his house with his spear in his hand: and David strums with his hand:

³³ And Shaul casts a spear at him to smite him: whereby Yah Nathan knows that his father has fully finished to deathify David.

¹¹ and he says, This becomes the judgment of the sovereign who reigns over you: He takes your sons and sets them for himself for his chariots and for his cavalry; at the face of his chariots; ¹² and sets for himself governors over thousands and governors over fifties; and sets them to plough his ploughing and to harvest his harvest; and to work his instruments of war and instruments of his chariots:

¹⁴ and he takes your fields and your vineyards and your oliveyards - the best of them and gives them to his servants: ¹⁵ and he takes the tithe of your seed and of your vineyards and gives to his eunuchs and to his servants:

¹⁴ And David comprehends in all his ways; and Yah Veh is with him:

²⁷ And so be it, on the morrow, the second of the month, they inspect the place of David: and Shaul says to Yah Nathan his son, Why comes not the son of Yishay to bread either yesterday or today?

³⁰ Then Shaul kindles his wrath against Yah Nathan and he says to him, You son of the perverted rebellious, know I not that you chose the son of Yishay to your own shame and to the shame of the nakedness of your mother?

⁹ And Doeg the Edomiy who is stationed over the servants of Shaul answers and says, I saw the son of Yishay coming to Nob - to Achiy Melech the son of Achiy Tub:

¹³ And Shaul says to him, Why conspire you against me - you and the son of Yishay in that you gave him bread and a sword and asked of Elohim for him to rise against me, to lurk, as at this day?

¹⁰ And Nabal answers the servants of David and says, Who is David? Who is the son of Yishay? Now a days servants abound by the myriads - every man who breaks away from the face of his adoni:

And so be a man, called of Beli Yaal, his name is Sheba the son of Bichria a Ben Yaminiy: and he blasts a shophar and says, We have neither allotment in David nor inheritance in the son of Yishay: every man to his tents, O Yisra El.

THE SOVEREIGNDOM DIVIDED
And all Yisra El sees that the sovereign hearkens not to them, and the people return word to the sovereign, saying, What allotment have we in David? Yes, there is no inheritance in the son of Yishay: to your tents, O Yisra El! Now see to your own house, O David. - and Yisra El goes to their tents.

THE BRANCH

¹⁰ And in that day, a Root of Yishay stands for an ensign of the people; to him the goyim seek: and his rest becomes honorable. cp Yesha Yah 11:1

³ And Yah Nathan and David cut a covenant because he loves him as his own soul:

² And he says to him, Far be it! You die not! Behold, my father works naught - great word or small word, that he exposes not in my ear: And why hides my father this word from me? Is this not so?

⁸ And work mercy with your servant; for you brought your servant into a covenant of Yah Veh with you: and, if there be perversity in me, deathify me yourself. And why this - to bring me to your father?

¹³ may Yah Veh work and add thus to Yah Nathan: but if it well-pleases my father to vilify you, then I expose it in your ear and send you away to go in shalom: and Yah Veh be with you as he is with my father: ¹⁴ and not only, while I still live work me the mercy of Yah Veh that I not die: ¹⁵ neither cut off your mercy from my house eternally: nor when Yah Veh cuts off the enemies of David - every man from the face of the soil. ¹⁶ And Yah Nathan cuts with the house of David, and Yah Veh seeks it at the hand of the enemies of David: ¹⁷ and Yah Nathan has David add an oath, because he loves him: for he loves him as he loves his own soul.

³⁰ Then Shaul kindles his wrath against Yah Nathan and he says to him, You son of the perverted rebellious, know I not that you chose the son of Yishay to your own shame and to the shame of the nakedness of your mother? ³¹ For all the days the son of Yishay lives on the soil, neither you establish nor your sovereigndom: and now, send and take him to me; for he is a son of death. ³² And Yah Nathan answers Shaul his father and says to him, Why deathify him? What works he? ³³ And Shaul casts a spear at him to smite him: whereby Yah Nathan knows that his father has fully finished to deathify David. ³⁴ And Yah Nathan rises from the table in fuming wrath and eats no bread the second day of the month: for he contorts for David, because his father shames him.

⁴² And Yah Nathan says to David, Go in shalom; inasmuch as we oathed, both of us, in the name of Yah Veh, saying, Yah Veh be between me and between you and between my seed and between your seed eternally. - and he rises and goes: and Yah Nathan goes into the city.

¹⁶ and Yah Nathan, the son of Shaul rises and goes to David into the forest and strengthens his hand in Elohim. ¹⁷ And he says to him, Awe not: for the hand of Shaul my father finds you not; and you reign over Yisra El and I become second to you; as Shaul my father also knows. ¹⁸ And the two cut a covenant at the face of Yah Veh: and David settles in the forest and Yah Nathan goes to his house.

²¹ And Shaul says, Blessed - you of Yah Veh; for you compassion me.

¹⁶ then he exposes the ears of men and seals their discipline;

³ and Achiy Yah the son of Achiy Tub, the brother of Iy Chabod the son of Pinechas the son of Eli priest of Yah Veh in Shiloh bears an ephod: and the people know not that Yah Nathan is gone:

HOLY BREAD
And David comes to Nob, to Achiy Melech the priest: and Achiy Melech trembles at meeting David, and says to him, Why are you alone and no man with you? ² And David says to Achiy Melech the priest, The sovereign misvahs a word and says to me, Let no man know aught of the word whereof I send you and what I misvah you: and I have my lads know at such and such a place. ³ And now, what is under your hand? give me five bread in my hand, or whatever is found. ⁴ And the priest answers David and says, There is no profane bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; but only, if the lads guard themselves from women. ⁵ And David answers the priest and says to him, Of a truth we restrain from women as three yesters ago, since I went; and the instruments of the lads are holy; though the way be profane yes, this day it is hallowed in the instrument. ⁶ So the priest gives him the holy: for there is no bread there but the face bread which is twisted off at the face of Yah Veh, to set hot bread the day it is taken away. ⁷ And a man of the servants of Shaul is there that day, restrained at the face of Yah Veh; his name is Doeg - an Edomiy, the mighty of the tenders of Shaul. ⁸ And David says to Achiy Melech, Is there not here under your hand spear or sword? for I have neither taken my sword nor my instruments in my hand, because the word of the sovereign is urgent. ⁹ And the priest says, The sword of Golyath the Peleshethiy, whom you smote in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here veiled in a cloth behind the ephod: if in taking, take: for there is no other here except this. And David says, There is none like that; give me.

¹ To His Eminence; On Comprehension: By David, when Doeg the Edomiy comes and tells Shaul, and says to him, David came to the house of Achi Melech. Why halal yourself in evil, O mighty? The mercy of El is all day. ² The tongue fabricates calamities - as a sharpened razor, working deceitfully. ³ You love evil more than good; and falsehood rather than to word justness. Selah. ⁴ You love all swallowing words, O you deceitful tongue. ⁵ Also, El pulls you down in perpetuity - takes you and uproots you from your tent - uproots you from the land of the living. ⁵ Neither is a false witness exonerated nor escapes he who breathes lies.

¹² A sovereign who hearkens to false words - all his ministers are wicked.

⁹ in you are men - talebearers to pour blood: and in you they eat on the mountains: in your midst they work intrigue:

⁵⁹ And the archpriests and elders and all the sanhedrim seek pseudo witnesses against Yah Shua to deathify him; ⁶⁰ but find none - yes, though many pseudo witnesses come, yet they find none. ²² So they ask Yah Veh further, if the man yet comes hither. And Yah Veh says, Behold he hides himself among the instruments.

² And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Go I and smite these Peleshethiy? And Yah Veh says to David, Go and smite the Peleshethiy and save Qeilah.

⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

¹² Then David says, The masters of Qeilah, shut they me and my men into the hand of Shaul? And Yah Veh says, They shut you.

⁸ And David asks at Yah Veh, saying, Pursue I after this troop? Overtake them? And he says to him, Pursue! In overtaking, overtake! And in rescuing, rescue!

¹⁵ whose feet are sharp to pour blood;

⁷ And Shaul says to his servants stationed around him, Hear now, you Ben Yaminiy; Gives the son of Yishay fields and vineyards to every one of you? Sets he you all governors of thousands and governors of hundreds

JUDGMENT
I am sought by them who ask not; I am found of them who seek me not: I say, Behold me! Behold me! to a goyim not called by my name.

⁸ that you all conspire against me? And no one exposes in my ear that my son cut with the son of Yishay? And none of you is sick for me? And exposing in my ear that my son raises my servant to lurk against me as this day?

⁶⁹ the arrogant patch falsehood against me; I guard your precepts with my whole heart:

¹¹ If you spare to rescue them who are taken to death and them who totter from the slaughter; ¹² if you say, Behold, we knew it not; Discerns he not, who gauges the heart? Knows he not, who guards your soul? - who returns to humanity according to his deeds?

⁸ Open your mouth for the mute for the plea of all sons of survivors: ⁹ open your mouth, judge justness and plead the cause of the humble and needy.

¹² In that day I raise against Eli all whom I worded concerning his house - begin, and finish: ¹³ and I tell him that I judge his house eternally for the perversity of which he knows; because his sons abase themselves and he dims them not: ¹⁴ and so I oath to the house of Eli, that the perversity of the house of Eli kapars/atones with neither sacrifice nor offering eternally.

²⁶ And the sovereign says to Abi Athar the priest, Go to Anathoth - to your own fields; for you are a man of death: but I deathify you not today, because you bore the ark of Adonay Yah Veh at the face of David my father - being humbled in all wherein my father was humbled.

⁹ Then they betray you to affliction, and slaughter you: and you become hated of all goyim for sake of my name:

²⁸ and I give them eternal life; and they neither destruct to the eons, nor anyone seize them from my hand. ²⁹ My Father who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one can seize them from the hand of my Father. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.

²⁰ Remember the word I said to you, The servant is not greater than his adoni. If they persecute me, they also persecute you; if they guard my word, they guard yours also.

² They ex-synogogue you: yet the hour comes that whoever slaughters you thinks he offers Elohim liturgy: ³ and they do these to you because they know neither the Father, nor me:

¹² When I was with them in the cosmos I guarded them in your name: those you gave me, I guarded; and none of them is lost except the son of destruction - to fulfill/shalam the scripture.

FROM THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES TO YAH SHUA
So seeing we also are surrounded with so vast a cloud of witnesses, put away every weight and the well-standing sin: and through endurance, run the contest set in front of us: ² considering to Yah Shua the hierarch and completer/shalamer of the trust - who for the cheer set in front of him: endured the stake, disesteeming the shame, and is seated at the right of the throne of Elohim. ³
THE PURPOSE OF THE DISCIPLINE OF YAH VEH
For consider him who endured such controversy by sinners to himself; lest you weary and weaken in your souls.
