⁴ And the men of David say to him, Behold the day of which Yah Veh says to you, Behold, I give your enemy into your hand, to work to him as it well-pleases your eyes. And David rises and cuts off the border of the mantle undercover of Shaul.

⁷ and they tell Shaul that David comes to Qeilah. And Shaul says, Elohim recognizes him into my hand; for he shut himself in by entering a city with doors and bars.

¹⁷ And he says to him, Awe not: for the hand of Shaul my father finds you not; and you reign over Yisra El and I become second to you; as Shaul my father also knows.

¹⁰ Behold, this day your eyes see how that today Yah Veh gave you into my hand in the cave: and said to slaughter you; but I spared you: and I said, I send not my hand against my adoni; for he is the anointed of Yah Veh:

¹⁸ and you tell this day how you work good with me: how Yah Veh shut me into your hand, and you slaughtered me not:

²⁸ I beseech you, lift the rebellion of your maid: for in working, Yah Veh works an amenable house for my adoni; because my adoni fights the wars of Yah Veh and no evil is found in you all your days: ²⁹ yet a human rises to pursue you and to seek your soul: but the soul of my adoni is bound in the bundle of life with Yah Veh your Elohim; and he slings the souls of your enemies, as midst the hollow of a sling. ³⁰ And so be it, when Yah Veh works to my adoni according to all the good he worded concerning you and misvahs you eminent over Yisra El;

⁸ Then Abi Shai says to David, Elohim shuts your enemy into your hand this day: now let me smite him, I beseech you, with the spear even to the earth one time - and not a second time. ⁹ And David says to Abi Shai, Ruin him not: for who may send his hand against the anointed of Yah Veh and be exonorated? ¹⁰ David says, As Yah Veh lives, Yah Veh smites him; or his day comes to die; or he descends into war and is scraped away: ¹¹ far be it that I send my hand against the anointed of Yah Veh: but, I beseech you, take now the spear at his headpieces and the cruse of water; and we go.

²³ and Yah Veh returns his justness and his trustworthiness to every man; for Yah Veh gave you into my hand today, but I willed to not send my hand against the anointed of Yah Veh:

⁸ And they bring the head of Ish Bosheth to David to Hebron; and say to the sovereign, Behold the head of Ish Bosheth the son of Shaul your enemy who sought your soul; and this day Yah Veh gives my adoni the sovereign avengements of Shaul and of his seed.

³¹ If not, men of my tent, say you, Who gives that we have of his flesh - we are not satisfied.
