And so be it, on the third day, David and his men come to Siqlag: and the Amaleqiy strip the south and Siqlag and smite Siqlag and burn it with fire ² and capture the women therein: they deathify no man, either great or small, but drive them away and go on their way. ³ And David and his men come to the city, and behold, it is burned with fire; and their women and their sons and their daughters are captured. ⁴ And David and the people with him lift their voice and weep, until they have no more force to weep: ⁵ for they had captured the two women of David - Achiy Noam the Yizre Eliyth and Abi Gail the woman of Nabal the Karmeliy: ⁶ and David is mighty depressed; for the people say of stoning him, because the soul of all the people embitters - every man for his sons and for his daughters. And David strengthens in Yah Veh his Elohim; ⁷ and David says to Abi Athar the priest the son of Achiy Melech, I beseech you, bring near the ephod. - and Abi Athar brings near the ephod to David. ⁸ And David asks at Yah Veh, saying, Pursue I after this troop? Overtake them? And he says to him, Pursue! In overtaking, overtake! And in rescuing, rescue! ⁹ And David goes - he with his six hundred men and comes to the wadi Besor, and those remaining, stay: ¹⁰ and David pursues - he and four hundred men: for two hundred stay behind - too exhausted to pass over the wadi Besor. ¹¹ And they find a man - a Misrayim in the field and take him to David; and give him bread and he eats; and they have him drink water; ¹² and they give him a slice of a lump of figs and two raisincakes: and he eats, and his spirit returns to him: for he had neither eaten bread nor drank water three days and three nights. ¹³ And David says to him, Whose are you? Whence are you? And he says, I am a lad - a Misrayim; servant to a man, an Amaleqiy; and my adoni leaves me, because three days ago, I fell sick. ¹⁴ We stripped the south of the Kerethiy and against that which is to Yah Hudah; and on the south of Kaleb; and we burned Siqlag with fire. ¹⁵ And David says to him, Bring you me down to this troop? And he says, Oath to me by Elohim, that you neither deathify me nor shut me into the hands of my adoni - and I descend you to this troop. ¹⁶ And he descends him, and behold, they disperse upon the face of all the earth, eating and drinking and celebrating, because of all the great spoil they took from the land of the Peleshethiy and from the land of Yah Hudah. ¹⁷ And David smites them from the evening breeze to the evening of the morrow: and not a man of them escapes except four hundred lads flee riding on camels. ¹⁸ And David rescues all that the Amaleqiy took: and David rescues his two women: ¹⁹ and they lack naught - from small to great; neither sons nor daughters; neither spoil nor aught they took to them: David returns all: ²⁰ and David takes all the flocks and the oxen, which they drove at the face of those chattel and says, This is the spoil for David. ²¹ And David comes to the two hundred men who were too exhausted to go with David, whom they settled at the wadi Besor: and they go to meet David and to meet the people with him: and David comes near to the people, and he asks shalom of them. ²² And all the evil men of Beli Yaal, of those men who went with David, answer and say, Because they went not with us, we give them naught of the spoil we rescued, except to every man his woman and his sons to drive them away and go. ²³ And David says, Work not thus, my brothers, with what Yah Veh gives us, who guards us from the troop that come against us and gives them into our hand. ²⁴ And who hearkens to you in this word? but as his allotment, who descends to the war, thus his allotment, who settles by his instruments - they allot unitedly. ²⁵ - and so be it, from that day and onward, that he set it a statute and a judgment for Yisra El to this day. ²⁶ And David comes to Siqlag, and he sends of the spoil to the elders of Yah Hudah - to his friends, saying, Behold, a blessing for you of the spoil of the enemies of Yah Veh: ²⁷ to them in Beth El and to them in south Ramoth and to them in Yattir ²⁸ and to them in Aroer and to them in Siphmoth and to them in Eshtemoa ²⁹ and to them in Rachal and to them in the cities of the Yerachme Eliy and to them in the cities of the Qayiniy ³⁰ and to them in Hormah and to them in Kor Ashan and to them in Athach ³¹ and to them in Hebron and to all the places where David himself and his men walked.

⁶² And Yischaq comes from the way of Beer Lachay Roi; for he settles in the south land:

⁶ And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, Awe not their face: for tomorrow about this time I give them all pierced at the face of Yisra El: hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.

⁷ And Shaul smites the Amaleq from Havilah until you come to Shur at the face of Misrayim:

⁸ And David and his men ascend and strip the Geshuriy and the Gezeriy and the Amaleqiy: for they are originally the settlers of the land as you go to Shur to the land of Misrayim: ⁹ and David smites the land and leaves neither man nor woman alive; and takes away the flock and the oxen and the he burros and the camels and the covering and returns and comes to Achish. ¹⁰ And Achish says, Where stripped you today? And David says, Against the south of Yah Hudah and against the south of the Yerachme Eliy and against the south of the Qayiniy.

⁴ And the governors of the Peleshethiy rage against him; and the governors of the Peleshethiy say to him, Return this man - return him to the place you oversee for him that he not descend with us to war; lest in the war he becomes a satan to us. How satisfies he his adoni? Is it not with the heads of these men?

¹¹ And David and his men start early to go in the morning, to return to the land of the Peleshethiy: and the Peleshethiy ascend to Yizre El.

² and so be it, on the third day, behold, a man comes from the camp of Shaul with his clothes ripped and soil on his head: and so be it, he comes to David and falls to the earth and prostrates.

¹¹ And David lets neither man nor woman live to bring to Gath, saying, Lest they tell on us, saying, So worked David and thus be his judgment all the days he settles in the field of the Peleshethiy.

¹⁹ and they lack naught - from small to great; neither sons nor daughters; neither spoil nor aught they took to them: David returns all:

¹¹ and said, Come to here, but add not: And set there the pomp of your waves?

¹⁰ Surely the fury of humanity spreads hands to you; you gird the survivors of fury;

⁸ In a seah, when it spreads, you strive therewith: he removes his hard wind in the day of the easterly. ⁹ So by this is the perversity of Yaaqov kapared/atoned; and this is all the fruit to turn aside his sin; in setting all the stones of the sacrifice altar as shattered lime; the asherah and sun icons rise not.

¹⁹ many are the evils of the just; Yah Veh rescues him from them all.

⁶ for Yah Veh disciplines whom he loves and scourges every son he receives. ^{Proverbs 3:11, 12}

⁶ wherein you jump for joy: though now for a little, if necessary, you are sorrowed in divers testings ⁷ that the proofing of your trust: being much more precious than gold that destructs: though being proofed through fire be found unto halal and honor and glory at the apocalypse of Yah Shua Messiah:

⁹ Behold, I give them of the synagogue of Satan, who word themselves to be Yah Hudiym and are not, but lie: behold, I have them come and worship in sight of your feet so that they know I loved you.

³³ And he recognizes it and says, It is the coat of my son; an evil live being devoured him: in tearing, Yoseph is torn. ³⁴ - and Yaaqov rips his clothes and puts saq on his loins and mourns for his son many days. ³⁵ And all his sons and all his daughters rise to sigh over him; but he refuses to be sighed over; and he says, For - I descend mourning into sheol - to my son. - thus his father weeps for him.

THE SONS OF YISRA EL MURMUR
And all the witness lift and give their voice and cry; and the people weep that night.

³⁹ - and Mosheh words these words to all the sons of Yisra El: and the people mourn mightily.

⁴ And so be it, when the angel of Yah Veh words these words to all the sons of Yisra El, the people lift their voice and weep:

² And the people come to the house of Elohim and settle there until evening at the face of Elohim and lift their voices and weep a great weeping;

¹³ and he comes, and behold, Eli settles on a throne by the hand of the way watching: for his heart trembles for the ark of Elohim: and the man comes into the city and tells it, and all the city cries out.

⁴ And the angels come to Gibah of Shaul and word the words in the ears of the people: and all the people lift their voices and weep.

A MIGHTY CONGREGATION WEEPS
And Ezra prays and spreads hands - weeping and falling at the face of the house of Elohim: a mighty great congregation from Yisra El - men and women and children gather to him: for in weeping, the people weep aboundingly.

² and he has two women; the name of the one is Hannah, and the name of the second Peninnah: and Peninnah has children but Hannah has no children.

⁴² And Abi Gail hastens and rises and rides on a he burro with five of her lasses who go at her feet; and she goes after the angels of David and becomes his woman. ⁴³ And David takes Achiy Noam of Yizre El; and they both are also his women.

³ and David settles with Achish at Gath - he and his men - every man with his household, David with his two women, Achiy Noam the Yizre Eliyth and Abi Gail the Karmeliyth - the woman of Nabal.

And to David sons are birthed in Hebron: and his firstbirthed: Amnon of Achiy Noam the Yizre Eliyth; ³ and his second: Kil Ab of Abi Gail the woman of Nabal the Karmeliy; and the third: Abi Shalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmay sovereign of Geshur;

⁷ And Yaaqov awes mightily and is depressed: and he halves the people with him and the flocks and oxen and the camels into two camps;

⁴ And Mosheh crys to Yah Veh, saying, What work I to this people? In a little they stone me.

¹⁰ And all the witness say to stone them with stones. And the honor of Yah Veh is seen in the tent of the congregation at the face of all the sons of Yisra El:

²⁵ And the sons of Dan say to him, O that your voice not be heard among us, lest men bitter of soul encounter you and gather your soul with the souls of your household.

¹⁰ and she is bitter of soul and prays to Yah Veh: and in weeping, she weeps;

⁸ For, says Hushay, you know your father and his men are mighty; and bitter of soul as a bereft bear in the field: and your father is a man of war and stays not overnight with the people.

²⁷ And when she comes to the man of Elohim to the mountain, she holds him by the feet: and Gay Chazi approaches to expel her. And the man of Elohim says, Release her; for her soul is embittered: and Yah Veh concealed it from me and told me not.

¹⁵ Behold, he severs me, yet I await not; surely I reprove my own ways at his face.

⁶ In my tribulation I call on Yah Veh and cry to my Elohim; he hears my voice from his manse, and my cry comes at his face - to his ears.

¹⁷ the tribulations of my heart enlarge; bring me from my distresses.

¹ By David. Judge me, O Yah Veh; for I walk in my integrity: I confide in Yah Veh; I waver not. ² Proof me, O Yah Veh, proof me - refine my reins and my heart.

¹ By David. Yah Veh is my light and my salvation; whom dread I? Yah Veh is the stronghold of my life; whom dread I? ² When the vilifiers - my tribulators and my enemies come on me to eat my flesh, they stumble and fall. ³ Though a camp encamp against me my heart awes not; though war rises against me in this I confide.

¹⁴ Await Yah Veh! Prevail; and he strengthens your heart; yes, await Yah Veh.

¹ By David; when he alters his taste at the face of Abi Melech; who exiles him and he goes. 1 I bless Yah Veh at all times; his halal is continually in my mouth: ² my soul halals in Yah Veh; the humble hear and cheer: ³ O greaten Yah Veh with me and exalt his name together. ⁴ I seek Yah Veh and he hears me - rescues me from all my terrors. ⁵ They look to him and sparkle; and their faces blushed not. ⁶ This humble one calls and Yah Veh hears and saves him from all his tribulations. ⁷ The angel of Yah Veh encamps around all who awe him; and rescues them. ⁸ O taste and see that Yah Veh is good; Blithe - the mighty who seek refuge in him.

¹ To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. In awaiting, I await Yah Veh; he spreads to me and hears my cry: ² and he ascends me from a roaring well - from the miry mire; and raises my feet on a rock and establishes my steps.

⁵ Why prostrate, O my soul? Why roar within me? Await Elohim; for I still spread hands to him for the salvation of his face.

⁷ Abyss calls to abyss at the voice culverts; all your breakers and your waves pass over me.

¹¹ Why prostrate, O my soul? Why roar within me? Hope in Elohim; for I spread hands to him - the salvation of my face and my Elohim.

³ The day I awe, I confide in you: ⁴ In Elohim I halal his word; in Elohim I confide: I awe not what flesh works to me.

¹ To His Eminence; Yeduthun/A Laudatory: A Psalm by David. Truly my soul is silent to Elohim; - from him is my salvation:

⁵ My soul, hush only on Elohim; for my hope is from him:

⁸ Confide in him at all times, you people; pour out your heart at his face: Elohim is our refuge. Selah. ⁹ Surely sons of humanity are vanity and sons of men a lie; they ascend in the balance - altogether vain.

³ the cords of death surround me and the straits of sheol find me: I find tribulation and grief: ⁴ I call on the name of Yah Veh; O Yah Veh, I beseech you, rescue my soul.

¹⁰ I trust; I word: I - I am mightily humbled.

⁸ Better to seek refuge in Yah Veh than to confide in humanity; ⁹ better to seek refuge in Yah Veh than to confide in volunteers. ¹⁰ all goyim surround me; in the name of Yah Veh, I cut them off: ¹¹ they surround me; yes, they surround me; in the name of Yah Veh, I cut them off: ¹² they surround me as bees; they are extinguished as a fire of thorns; for in the name of Yah Veh I cut them off. ¹³ In overthrowing, you overthrew me that I fell; and Yah Veh helped me.

¹⁰ The name of Yah Veh is a tower of strength; the just run to it and are lofted.

⁴ for you are a stronghold to the poor; a strength to the needy in his tribulation; a refuge from the flood; a shadow from the parchedness when the wind of the tyrants is as a flood against the wall.

¹⁹ O Yah Veh, my strength, and my stronghold; and my retreat in the day of tribulation, the goyim come to you from the finalities of the earth, and say, our fathers inherited falsehoods; vanity, wherein no one benefits.

¹⁷ Although neither the fig tree blossoms nor produce among the vines; the labor of the olive deceives and the fields work no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls: ¹⁸ yet I jump for joy in Yah Veh; I twirl in Elohim of my salvation.

⁹ and the multitudes preceding and following cry out, wording, Hoshia Na to the son of David: Eulogized - he who comes in the name of Yah Veh; Hoshia Na in the highests. ^{Psalm 118:25, 26}

²² Pilatos words to them, What then do I with Yah Shua who is worded Messiah? They all word to him, Stake!

⁵⁹ So they take stones to cast at him: but Yah Shua secretes himself, and goes from the priestal precinct, passing through their midst, and thus passes by.

¹⁸ who against hope trusted in hope, being the father of many goyim; according to what was said, Thus be your sperma. ^{Genesis 15:5, 17:5}

²⁰ nor doubted he the pre-evangelism of Elohim through trustlessness; but dynamized in trust, giving glory to Elohim;

NINE QUESTIONS, DIRECT AND RHETORICAL
So what say we to these? If Elohim is for us, who is against us?

⁶ And whether we be tribulated, it is for your consolation and salvation, which energizes in the enduring of the same sufferings we also suffer: whether we are consoled, it is for your consolation and salvation.

⁸ For we will not, brothers, that you be unknowing of our tribulation which became us in Asia; that we were excessively burdened beyond dynamis insomuch that we even despaired of living: ⁹ but we ourselves had the sentence of death in ourselves so that we confided not in ourselves - but in Elohim who raised the dead: ¹⁰ who rescued us from so great a death - and rescues; in whom we hope to still rescue:

⁸ We are tribulated in all, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

⁵ For when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no relaxation; but we were tribulated in all - outward strifes - inward awes.

⁶ So courageously we word, Yah Veh my helper: and I awe not what humanity does to me. ^{Psalm 118:6}

²⁰ And one of the sons of Achiy Melech the son of Achiy Tub, named Abi Athar, escapes and flees after David: ²¹ and Abi Athar tells David that Shaul slaughtered priests of Yah Veh.

² And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Go I and smite these Peleshethiy? And Yah Veh says to David, Go and smite the Peleshethiy and save Qeilah. ³ And the men of David say to him, Behold, we awe here in Yah Hudah! How much more, if we come to Qeilah against the ranks of the Peleshethiy? ⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand. ⁵ So David and his men go to Qeilah and fight the Peleshethiy and drive their chattel and smite them with a great stroke: thus David saves the settlers of Qeilah. ⁶
SHAUL PURSUES DAVID
And so be it, Abi Athar the son of Achiy Melech flees to David to Qeilah, and he descends with an ephod in his hand: ⁷ and they tell Shaul that David comes to Qeilah. And Shaul says, Elohim recognizes him into my hand; for he shut himself in by entering a city with doors and bars. ⁸ And Shaul hearkens all the people to war to descend to Qeilah to besiege David and his men. ⁹ And David knows Shaul plots evil against him; and he says to Abi Athar the priest, Bring near the ephod.

²⁶ And the sovereign says to Abi Athar the priest, Go to Anathoth - to your own fields; for you are a man of death: but I deathify you not today, because you bore the ark of Adonay Yah Veh at the face of David my father - being humbled in all wherein my father was humbled.

²⁶ How he entered the house of Elohim in the days of Abi Athar the archpriest, and ate the prothesis bread, which is not allowed to eat - except for the priests, and also gave to them with him? ^{Leviticus 24:5-9}

²¹ and stand him at the face of El Azar the priest to ask for him after the judgment of Urim at the face of Yah Veh: at his mouth they go out and at his mouth they come in - both he and all the sons of Yisra El with him - even all the witness.

²³ And the sons of Yisra El ascend and weep at the face of Yah Veh until evening; and ask counsel of Yah Veh, saying, Add I to approach to war against the sons of Ben Yamin - my brother? And Yah Veh says, Ascend against him.

²⁸ and Pinechas the son of El Azar the son of Aharon stands at the face of it in those days, saying, Go I yet again to war against the sons of Ben Yamin - my brother? Or cease? And Yah Veh says, Ascend; for tomorrow I give them into your hand.

³⁷ And Shaul asks counsel of Elohim, Descend I after the Peleshethiy? Give you them into the hand of Yisra El? - and he answers him not that day.

² And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Go I and smite these Peleshethiy? And Yah Veh says to David, Go and smite the Peleshethiy and save Qeilah.

⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

¹⁰ And David says, O Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, In hearing, your servant hears that Shaul seeks to come to Qeilah to ruin the city for my sake: ¹¹ The masters of Qeilah, shut they me into his hand? Descends Shaul, as your servant hears? O Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, I beseech you, tell your servant. And Yah Veh says, He descends. ¹² Then David says, The masters of Qeilah, shut they me and my men into the hand of Shaul? And Yah Veh says, They shut you.

⁶ And Shaul asks of Yah Veh, and Yah Veh answers him not - neither by dreams nor by Urim nor by prophets.

¹⁵ And Shemu El says to Shaul, Why quiver you me to ascend me? And Shaul says, I am mightily distressed; for the Peleshethiy fight me and Elohim turns aside from me and answers me no more - neither by the hand of prophets nor by dreams: so I call you, to have me know what to work. ¹⁶ Then says Shemu El, Why then ask you of me, seeing Yah Veh turns aside from you and becomes your enemy?

¹⁸ And David rescues all that the Amaleqiy took: and David rescues his two women:

¹⁹ And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Ascend I to the Peleshethiy? Give you them into my hand? And Yah Veh says to David, Ascend! For in giving, I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

²³ And David asks of Yah Veh, and he says, Ascend not; but go around behind them, and come upon them opposite the weepers:

¹⁵ call on me in the day of tribulation: I rescue you and you honor me.

¹⁵ He calls on me and I answer him; I am with him in tribulation; I rescue him and honor him:

⁵ Confide in Yah Veh with all your heart and lean not to your own discernment: ⁶ in all your ways know him and he straightens your paths:

² And David rises and passes over with his six hundred men to Achish the son of Maoch the sovereign of Gath:

⁴ And Gidon comes to Yarden - he and the three hundred men with him and pass over, languid, yet pursuing them: ⁵ and he says to the men of Sukkoth/Brush Arbors, Give, I beseech you, rounds of bread to the people at my feet for they are languid; and I pursue after Zebach and Sal Munna sovereigns of Midyaniy.

²⁰ And Shaul and all the people with him cry out together; and they come to the war; and behold, the sword of every man is against his friend and there is a mighty great confusion:

³¹ And that day they smite the Peleshethiy from Michmash to Ayalon: and the people flutter mightily:

⁷ When there are any needy among you of one of your brothers within one of your portals in your land which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you, neither strengthen your heart nor shut your hand from your needy brother: ⁸ but open your hand wide to him and in pledging, pledge him sufficient for the lack he lacks. ⁹ Guard that there be no word in your heart of Beli Yaal, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, approaches; and you vilify your eye against your needy brother and you give him naught; and he calls to Yah Veh against you and it becomes sin to you; ¹⁰ in giving, give him and vilify not your heart when you give him: because for this word Yah Veh your Elohim blesses you in all your works and in all you spread your hand. ¹¹ For the needy never cease from the land: so I misvah you, saying, Open your hand wide to your brother, to your humbled and to your needy, in your land.

⁷ Neither abhor an Edomiy; for he is your brother: nor abhor a Misrayim; because you were a sojourner in his land.

²¹ If he who hates you famishes, give him bread to eat; and if he thirsts, give him water to drink:

³⁵ for I famished, and you gave me eats; I thirsted, and you gave me drink; a stranger, and you gathered me in;

³⁶ Who of these three, think you, became neighbor to him who fell among the robbers? ³⁷ And he says, He who dealt mercy with him. So Yah Shua says to him, Go, and do likewise.

²⁰ So whenever your enemy famishes, force feed him; whenever he thirsts, give him drink: for in so doing you heap coals of fire on his head; ²¹ so that evil triumphs not over you, but that the good triumphs over evil. ^{Proverbs 25:21, 22}

¹⁹ And Elohim split a socket in the jaw and water comes; and he drinks, and his spirit returns and he enlivens: so he calls the name thereof En Hak Qore/Fountain of the Caller: it is in Lechi to this day.

²⁷ And Yah Nathan heard not his father oath the people with the oath: and he sends forth the end of the rod in his hand and dips it in a forest; and returns his hand to his mouth: and his eyes enlighten.

²⁹ He gives strength to the weary; and to them of no strength, he abounds might. ³⁰ Even the lads weary and belabor, and in faltering, the youths falter: ³¹ but they who await Yah Veh, change their force; they ascend with pinions as eagles; they run, and belabor not; and they walk, and weary not.

²⁴ And the guards see a man leave the city and they say to him, Have us see, we beseech you, the entrance to the city and we work you mercy. ²⁵ And he has them see the entrance into the city, and they smite the city with the mouth of the sword; and send away the man and all his family:

THE DEATH OF SHIMSHON

But first seek the sovereigndom of Elohim and his justness; and all these add to you.
