ELDERS OF YISRA EL REQUEST A SOVEREIGN

¹⁰ For befriending silver is the root of all evil: which, while some reach for, strayed from the trust and pierced themselves through with many griefs.

And he says to Mosheh, Ascend to Yah Veh, you and Aharon, Nadab and Abi Hu and seventy of the elders of Yisra El; and prostrate afar off.

THE TORAH ON SOVEREIGNS When you come to the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you, and possess it and settle therein; and you say, I set a sovereign over me, as all the goyim all around me! ¹⁵ - in setting, set him sovereign over you, whom Yah Veh your Elohim chooses: set one from among your brothers sovereign over you: you cannot give a man - a stranger over you, who is not your brother.

⁶ And the word is evil in the eyes of Shemu El, when they say, Give us a sovereign to judge us. - and Shemu El prays to Yah Veh. ⁷ And Yah Veh says to Shemu El, Hearken to the voice of the people in all they say to you: for they refuse not you; but they refuse me; - that I not reign over them. ⁸ According to all the works they worked since the day I ascended them from Misrayim even to this day; wherewith they forsake me and serve other elohim, thus also they work to you:

¹⁹ And the people refuse to hear the voice of Shemu El; and they say, No - a sovereign over us; ²⁰ that we also become as all the goyim; and that our sovereign judge us and go from our face and fight our wars.

¹⁷ Is today not the wheat harvest? I call to Yah Veh and he gives voice and rain; so that you perceive and see what great evil you work in the eyes of Yah Veh - in your asking for a sovereign.

¹⁰ Where is your sovereign who saves you in all your cities? And your judges of whom you say, Give me a sovereign and governors? ¹¹ I give you a sovereign in my wrath; and take him in my wrath:

³ And I hear this word and I rip my clothes and my mantle and balden the hair of my head and of my beard, and sit down astonished. ⁴ and every one who trembles at the words of Elohim of Yisra El gathers to me; because of the treason of those who were exiled; and I sat astonished until the evening offering. ⁵ And at the evening offering I rise and fast and rip my clothes and my mantle: I bow on my knees and spread my palms to Yah Veh my Elohim,

⁴ instead of my love, they are my satans; but I - prayer:

¹¹ And they fill full with mindlessness; and talk thoroughly one with another of what to do to Yah Shua. ¹²
YAH SHUA SELECTS TWELVE APOSTLES
And so be it, in those days, he goes to a mountain to pray, and continues all night in prayer to Elohim.

⁶ Be anxious for naught; but in all by prayer and petition with eucharist have Elohim know your requests.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, ask of Elohim who gives liberally to all and reproaches not - and he is given.

¹⁹ and you have, this day, refused your Elohim, who himself saved you from all your evils and your tribulations; and you said to him, No! But set a sovereign over us. And now, set yourselves at the face of Yah Veh by your scions and by your thousands.

⁴ I also - I choose their exploits, and bring their terrors on them; because when I call, no one answers; when I word, they hear not: but they work evil in front of my eyes and choose that in which I delight not.

Neither is the disciple above his doctor nor the servant above his Adoni: ²⁵ it is enough for the disciple to be as his doctor and the servant as his adoni. If they call the housedespotes Baal Zebub, how much more they them of his household?

⁴⁰ whoever receives you receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who apostolized me;

¹¹ and say to Mosheh, Because there are no tombs in Misrayim, take you us away to die in the wilderness? Why work you thus with us - to carry us forth from Misrayim? ¹² Is not this the word we worded you in Misrayim, saying, Cease - and we serve the Misrayim? For better for us to serve the Misrayim than die in the wilderness.

³ And the sons of Yisra El say to them, O that we were given to die by the hand of Yah Veh - in the land of Misrayim when we settled by the flesh cauldrons and when we ate bread to satiety; for you bring us into this wilderness, to deathify this whole congregation with famine.

² And the people strive with Mosheh and say, Give us water to drink. And Mosheh says to them, Why strive with me? Why test you Yah Veh?

And the people see that Mosheh delays descending from the mount: and the people congregate to Aharon and say to him, Rise, work us elohim to go at our face; for as for this Mosheh, the man who ascended us from the land of Misrayim, we know not what became of him.

² And all the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and against Aharon: and all the witness say to them, O that we had died in the land of Misrayim! O that we had died in this wilderness! ³ And why brings Yah Veh us to this land, to fall by the sword? And our women and our children become a plunder? Were it not better for us to return into Misrayim? ⁴ And they say man to brother, We give us a head and return to Misrayim.

⁵⁶ Yet they tested and rebelled against Elohim Elyon and guarded not his witnesses; ⁵⁷ and apostatized and dealt covertly as their fathers - turned aside as a deceitful bow: ⁵⁸ and they vex him with their bamahs and move him to jealousy with their sculptiles. ⁵⁹ Elohim heard; he was wroth; and spurned Yisra El mightily;

¹³ And the judgment of the priest with the people is, when any man sacrifices sacrifice, that while the flesh stews, the lad of the priest comes with a fork of three teeth in his hand;

¹⁸ In my saying to the wicked, In dying, you die; and you neither enlighten him, nor word to enlighten the wicked from the wicked way he lives; the same wicked dies in his perversity; and I seek his blood at your hand:

NEBUKADNETS TSAR CHOOSES SONS OF YISRA EL FOR SERVICE
And the sovereign says to Ashpenaz the rabbi of his eunuchs, to bring of the sons of Yisra El and of seed of the sovereign and of the nobles;

⁹ Hears El his cry when tribulation overcomes him?

⁴¹ They cry, and there is no savior; - to Yah Veh, but he answers them not.

²⁵ you loose all my counsel and will none of my reproof. ²⁶ I laugh at your calamity; I deride when your dread comes ²⁷ - when your dread comes as devastation and your calamity comes as a hurricane; when tribulation and distress come on you. ²⁸ Then they call me, and I answer not; they seek me early, and they find me not;

¹³ Whoever shuts his ears at the cry of the poor, calls, but is not answered.

¹⁵ And in spreading your palms, I conceal my eyes from you: yes, your abounding prayers I hear not: your hands are filled with blood.

²¹ and they pass through, hardened and famished: and so be it, they famish; they enrage and abase their sovereign and their Elohim, and face upward:

⁴ Then they cry to Yah Veh, and he answers them not: he even hides his face from them at that time, as they vilify in their exploits.

²⁵ for from whenever the housedespotes rises and locks the portal; and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the portal, wording, Adonay, Adonay, open to us; - and he answers you, saying, I know not whence you are:

¹¹ But my people will to not hearken to my voice; and Yisra El has none of me:

¹⁶ The word you worded to us in the name of Yah Veh, we hearkened not to you:

³¹ And they come to you as people approaching and they sit at your face as my people; and they hear your words, and work them not: for they work pantings with their mouth but their heart goes after their greedy gain:

¹⁶ For how is it known here that I and your people find charism in your eyes? Is it not in that you go with us? And we are distinguished, I and your people, from all the people on the face of the earth.

²⁴ But I say to you, Possess their soil and I give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey: I - Yah Veh your Elohim who separates you from people. ²⁵ And you, separate between pure animals and between foul and between foul flyers and between pure: and abominate not your souls, by animal or by flyer, or by any live being creeping on the soil, which I separated from you as foul. ²⁶ And be holy to me: for I - Yah Veh - holy; and separate you from people to become mine.

⁶ For you are a holy people to Yah Veh your Elohim: Yah Veh your Elohim chose you to be his peculiar people above all people on the face of the soil.

⁵ and say to him, Behold, you age; and your sons walk not in your ways: now set us a sovereign to judge us - as all the goyim.

³⁵ but mingled among the goyim and learned their works;
