¹⁶ Tomorrow about this time I send you a man from the land of Ben Yamin: anoint him to be eminent over my people Yisra El, to save my people from the hand of the Peleshethiy: for I see my people, because their cry comes to me.

²³ And so be it, in these many days, the sovereign of Misrayim dies: and the sons of Yisra El sigh because of the service; and they cry because of the service and their cry ascends to Elohim: ²⁴ and Elohim hears their groaning and Elohim remembers his covenant with Abraham with Yischaq and with Yaaqov: ²⁵ and Elohim sees the sons of Yisra El and Elohim perceives.

⁷ And Yah Veh says, In seeing, I see the humiliation of my people in Misrayim and hear their cry at the face of their exactors; for I know their sorrows; : ⁸ and I descend to deliver them from the hand of the Misrayim - ascend them from that land to a good and broad land to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Kenaaniy and the Hethiy and the Emoriy and the Perizziy and the Hivviy and the Yebusiy; ⁹ and now, behold, the cry of the sons of Yisra El comes to me: and I also see the oppression wherewith the Misrayim oppress them.

And Shemu El takes a flask of oil and pours it on his head and kisses him and says, Is it not because Yah Veh anoints you eminent over his inheritance?

YAH VEH REJECTS SHAUL AS SOVEREIGN
And Shemu El says to Shaul, Yah Veh sends me to anoint you sovereign over his people - over Yisra El: and now, hearken to the voice of the words of Yah Veh;

³ and call Yishay to the sacrifice and I have you know what to work: and anoint to me whom I say to you.

¹⁵ And Yah Veh says to him, Go! Return on your way to the wilderness of Dammeseq; and go in and anoint Haza El sovereign over Aram; ¹⁶ and anoint Yah Hu the son of Nimshi sovereign over Yisra El; and anoint Eli Shua the son of Shaphat of Abel Mecholah prophet in your stead:

³ and take the flask of oil and pour on his head and say, Thus says Yah Veh, I anoint you sovereign over Yisra El! - then open the door and flee and wait not. ⁴ And the lad - the lad the prophet goes to Ramoth Gilad: ⁵ and he comes, and behold, the governors of the valiant settle there; and he says, I have a word to you, O captain. And Yah Hu says, To whom of all of us? And he says, To you, O governor. ⁶ And he rises and goes into the house; and pours the oil on his head and says to him, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, I anoint you sovereign over the people of Yah Veh - over Yisra El:

¹⁸ See my humiliation and my toil; and lift all my sins:

⁴⁴ He saw their tribulation when he heard their shouting;
