²⁴ Foul not yourselves in any of these: for in all these the goyim foul - whom I sent away from your face: ²⁵ and the land fouled: so I visit the perversity thereof thereon; and the land itself vomits them who settle her. ²⁶ Guard my statutes and my judgments and work not any of these abhorrences - native and sojourner sojourning among you: ²⁷ for the men of the land at your face worked all these abhorrences and fouled the land; ²⁸ lest the land vomits you, when you foul it, as it vomited the goyim at your face. ²⁹ For whoever works any of these abhorrences, even the souls that work them are cut off from among their people. ³⁰ So guard my guard, that you work none of these abhorrent statutes, which are worked at your face and that you not foul yourselves therein: I - Yah Veh your Elohim.

²² Guard all my statutes and all my judgments and work them: that the land where I bring you to settle not vomit you. ²³ And walk not in the statutes of the goyim, whom I cast out from your face: for they work all these and so I abhor them.

³¹ Work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim: for every abhorrence Yah Veh hates, they worked to their elohim; even burning their sons and their daughters in the fire to their elohim.

THE TORAH ON APOSTATIZING When you come to the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you, learn to not work after the abhorrences of those goyim.

¹⁴ for these goyim, whom you possess, hearken to cloudgazers and to diviners: but as for you, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you not thus.

¹¹ and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh:

¹⁵ and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them:

² And he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh; after the abhorrences of the goyim, whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El.

⁹ And they hearken not: and Menash Sheh strays them to work more evil than the goyim whom Yah Veh desolated at the face of the sons of Yisra El.

³ and he incenses in the valley of the son of burning and burns his sons in the fire - as the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El:

¹⁴ Also, all the governors of the priests and the people, in treasoning, abound to treason after all the abhorrences of the goyim; and foul the house of Yah Veh which he hallowed in Yeru Shalem.

¹⁴ - return we to break your misvoth and intermarry with the people of these abhorrences? Are you not angry with us - to finish us off so that there is neither survivor nor escapee?

³⁵ but mingled among the goyim and learned their works; ³⁶ and served their idols - a snare to them: ³⁷ yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, ³⁸ and poured innocent blood - the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Kenaan: and profaned the land with blood. ³⁹ Thus they fouled with their own works and whored in their exploits. ⁴⁰ Yah Veh kindled his wrath against his people so that he abhored his own inheritance;

⁴ and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem.

¹² and you know I - Yah Veh: for you neither walk in my statutes nor work my judgments; but work after the judgments of the goyim all around you.
