And so be it, after this, Abi Shalom the son of David has a beautiful sister, and her name is Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loves her; ² and Amnon is so depressed he falls sick for his sister Tamar; for she is a virgin; and it is marvellous in the eyes of Amnon to work aught to her. ³ And Amnon has a friend, and his name is Yah Nadab the son of Shimah the brother of David; and Yah Nadab is a mighty wise man: ⁴ and he says to him, Why are you, the son of the sovereign, so poor morning by morning? Why not tell me? And Amnon says to him, I love Tamar the sister of my brother Abi Shalom. ⁵ And Yah Nadab says to him, Lie down on your bed and make yourself sick: and when your father comes to see you, say to him, I pray you, have my sister Tamar come and cut me bread to chew and work cuttings in my eyes that I may see and eat from her hand. ⁶ So Amnon lies down and makes himself sick: and when the sovereign comes to see him Amnon says to the sovereign, I pray you, have Tamar my sister come and bake me a couple of cakes in my eyes, that I may chew from her hand. ⁷ And David sends home to Tamar, saying, Go now to the house of your brother Amnon and work him cuttings. ⁸ So Tamar goes to the house of her brother Amnon; and he lies down: and she takes dough and kneads and bakes in his eyes and ripens the cakes: ⁹ and she takes a pan and pours them at his face; but he refuses to eat. And Amnon says, Send all the men from me! - and every man goes from him. ¹⁰ And Amnon says to Tamar, Bring the cuttings into the chamber, that I may chew from your hand. And Tamar takes the cakes she worked and brings them into the chamber to her brother Amnon: ¹¹ and she brings them near to him to eat and he holds her and says to her, Come lie down with me, my sister. ¹² And she says to him, No, my brother, humble me not; for such ought not to be worked in Yisra El: work not this folly: ¹³ And I, where goes my reproach? And as for you, you become as one of the fools in Yisra El: and now, I pray you, word to the sovereign; for he withholds me not from you. ¹⁴ Howbeit he wills to not hearken to her voice: but, being tougher than she, he humbles her and lies down with her: ¹⁵ and Amnon hates her mightily; so that the hatred wherewith he hates her is greater than the love wherewith he loved her. And Amnon says to her, Rise! Go! ¹⁶ And she says to him, No! This evil in sending me away is greater than the other that you worked me. - and he wills to not hearken to her. ¹⁷ And he calls his lad who ministers to him and says, Send this away from me now and enclose the door after her. ¹⁸ And she has a coverall coat on her: for with such mantles were the virgin daughters of the sovereign enrobed: and his minister brings her out and encloses the door after her. ¹⁹ And Tamar takes ashes on her head and rips the coverall coat on her and sets her hand on her head: and in walking, walks on crying. ²⁰ And Abi Shalom her brother says to her, Has Amnon your brother been with you? Hush now, my sister; he is your brother: set not your heart to this word. - and Tamar settles desolate in the house of her brother Abi Shalom. ²¹ And sovereign David hears of all these words and he is mightily inflamed: ²² and Abi Shalom words to his brother Amnon neither good nor evil: for Abi Shalom hates Amnon, for word that he abased his sister Tamar. ²³
ABI SHALOM DEATHIFIES AMNON
And so be it, after two years of days, Abi Shalom has sheepshearers in Baal Hasor beside Ephrayim: and Abi Shalom calls all the sons of the sovereign: ²⁴ and Abi Shalom comes to the sovereign and says, Behold now, your servant has sheepshearers; may the sovereign, I beseech you, and his servants go with your servant. ²⁵ And the sovereign says to Abi Shalom, No, my son, not all of us go now lest we be too heavy to you. - and he breaches on him; but he wills to not go; and he blesses him. ²⁶ And Abi Shalom says, If not, I pray you, have my brother Amnon go with us. And the sovereign says to him, Why have him go with you? ²⁷ And Abi Shalom breaches on him to send Amnon away with all the sons of the sovereign. ²⁸ And Abi Shalom misvahs his lads, saying, Now see, when the heart of Amnon is good with wine, and I say to you, Smite Amnon! Deathify him! Awe not! I - misvah I you not? Strengthen! Sons of valour! ²⁹ And the lads of Abi Shalom work to Amnon as Abi Shalom misvahs: and all the sons of the sovereign rise and every man rides on his mule and flees. ³⁰ And so be it, as they are in the way, reports come to David, saying, Abi Shalom smites all the sons of the sovereign and not one of them remains. ³¹ And the sovereign rises and rips his clothes and lies down on the earth; and all his servants station by with ripped clothes. ³² And Yah Nadab the son of Shimah the brother of David answers and says, My adoni, say not that they deathified all the lads of the sons of the sovereign; for only, Amnon died: for this became set by the mouth of Abi Shalom the day he abased his sister Tamar. ³³ And now my adoni the sovereign, set not the word to your heart, saying, All the sons of the sovereign died! - for only, Amnon died. ³⁴ And Abi Shalom flees: and the lad who watches lifts his eyes and sees; and behold, much people come by the way of the mountain side behind him. ³⁵ And Yah Nadab says to the sovereign, Behold, the sons of the sovereign come: according to the word of your servant, so be it. ³⁶ And so be it, as soon as he finishes wording, behold, the sons of the sovereign come and lift their voice and weep: and the sovereign also and all his servants weep a mighty great weeping: ³⁷ and Abi Shalom flees and goes to Talmay the son of Ammi Hud sovereign of Geshur; and mourns for his son every day. ³⁸ And Abi Shalom flees and goes to Geshur and is there three years. ³⁹ And sovereign David concludes to go to Abi Shalom: for he sighs concerning Amnon, seeing he died.

² and the sons of Elohim see that the daughters of humanity are goodly; and they take women of all they choose.
THE SHORTENED LIFE SPAN

¹⁸ and Yaaqov loves Rachel, and says, I serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.

²⁰ And Yaaqov serves seven years for Rachel; and in his eyes, they are but a day in his love to her:

³ and his soul adheres to Dinah the daughter of Yaaqov; and he loves the lass and words to the heart of the lass.

⁶ and he leaves all he has in the hand of Yoseph; and he knows not aught of what he has - except the bread he eats. And Yoseph is beautiful in form and beautiful in visage. ⁷ And so be it, after these words, that the woman of his adoni lifts her eyes on Yoseph; and she says, Lie with me.

DAVID BIRTHS SONS
And to David sons are birthed in Hebron: and his firstbirthed: Amnon of Achiy Noam the Yizre Eliyth; ³ and his second: Kil Ab of Abi Gail the woman of Nabal the Karmeliy; and the third: Abi Shalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmay sovereign of Geshur;

² And so be it, at evening time, David rises from his bed and walks on the roof of the house of the sovereign: and from the roof he sees a woman baptizing herself; and the woman is of mighty good visage.

¹⁵ and Amnon hates her mightily; so that the hatred wherewith he hates her is greater than the love wherewith he loved her. And Amnon says to her, Rise! Go!

²⁷ And three sons are birthed to Abi Shalom and one daughter; her name is Tamar: she is a woman of beautiful visage.

THE WOMEN OF SHELOMOH
And sovereign Shelomoh loves many strange women together with the daughter of Paroh: women of the Moabiy, Ammoniy, Edomiy, Sidoniy and Hethiy,

² the third, Abi Shalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmay sovereign of Geshur; the fourth, Adoni Yah the son of Haggith;

⁹ These are all the sons of David beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.

²⁵ Neither desire her beauty in your heart; nor be overtaken by her eyelids:

³⁰ Charism is false and beauty is vain; Halal the woman who awes Yah Veh!

⁴ And Ach Ab comes to his house peeved and enraged because of the word Naboth the Yizre Eliy words to him: for he said, I give you not the inheritance of my fathers: and he lies down on his bed and turns away his face and eats no bread.

⁸ I oath you, O daughters of Yeru Shalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him, I am worn from love.

¹⁰ For sorrow toward Elohim works repentance to salvation - unrequitable: but the sorrow of the cosmos works death.

¹ Now the serpent being more subtil than any live being of the field Yah Veh Elohim worked, he says to the woman, Has Elohim truly said, Eat not of every tree of the garden?

YAH HUDAH AND TAMAR
And so be it, at that time, Yah Hudah descends from his brothers and turns to a man - an Adullamiy whose name is Hirah:

²⁰ and Yah Hudah sends the kid of the goats by the hand of his friend the Adullamiy, to take his pledge from the hand of the woman; and he finds her not.

²⁰ But the woman of Shimshon becomes to his companion whom he befriended.

⁹ Then Yishay passes Shammah by. And he says, Yah Veh chooses not this.

³² And Yah Nadab the son of Shimah the brother of David answers and says, My adoni, say not that they deathified all the lads of the sons of the sovereign; for only, Amnon died: for this became set by the mouth of Abi Shalom the day he abased his sister Tamar.

² and Yah Ab sends to Teqoha and takes thence a wise woman and says to her, I pray you, feign yourself to be a mourner and enrobe mourning clothes; and anoint not yourself with oil: and be as a woman who mourns for the dead many days:

¹⁹ And the sovereign says, Is the hand of Yah Ab with you in all this? And the woman answers and says, Your soul lives, my adoni the sovereign, no man can turn right or left from aught that my adoni the sovereign words: for your servant Yah Ab, he misvahed me and he set all these words in the mouth of your maid: ²⁰ so as to go about the face of this word your servant Yah Ab worked this word: and my adoni is wise as the wisdom of an angel of Elohim, to know all that is in the earth.

¹⁰ And Haman restrains himself; and comes to his house: and he sends and calls for his loved ones and Zeresh his woman:

¹⁴ And Zeresh his woman and all his loved ones say to him, Work a tree fifty cubits high; and in the morning say to the sovereign to hang Mordekay thereon; then go in cheerfully with the sovereign to the banquet. - and the word well-pleases the face of Haman; and he works the tree.

¹³ and Haman scribes to Zeresh his woman and all his loved ones of all that befalls him. And his wise men and Zeresh his woman say to him, If Mordekay is of the seed of the Yah Hudiym, at the face of whom you begin to fall, you prevail not against him: but in falling, fall at his face.

⁶ Many stroke the face of the volunteer; and all are a friend of a man of gifts.

²² For my people are foolish, they know me not; foolish sons and they discern not: wise to vilify and to well-please they know not.

¹⁹ For the wisdom of this cosmos is foolishness with Elohim. For it is scribed, He grasps the wise in their own cunning.

¹⁵ - this wisdom descends not from above but is earthly, soulical, demonic.

⁹ Expose not the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or daughter of your mother - whether kindred of home or kindred outside: expose not their nakedness.

¹⁷ And a man who takes his sister the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness; - a shame: cut them off in the eyes of their people: he exposes the nakedness of his sister: he bears his perversion.

⁷ And Iy Zebel his woman says to him, Work you not the sovereigndom of Yisra El? Rise! Eat bread! Well-please your heart! I give you the vineyard of Naboth the Yizre Eliy.

¹³ And all this equates me naught, all the time I see Mordekay the Yah Hudiy settling at the portal of the sovereign. ¹⁴ And Zeresh his woman and all his loved ones say to him, Work a tree fifty cubits high; and in the morning say to the sovereign to hang Mordekay thereon; then go in cheerfully with the sovereign to the banquet. - and the word well-pleases the face of Haman; and he works the tree.

⁹ their partiality of face answers against them; and they tell their sin as Sedom - they conceal not. Woe to their soul! for they deal themselves evil.

¹² Shame they when they work abhorrence? No, in shaming, they neither shame, nor know they to blush: so they fall among the fallen: - falter in the time of their visitation, says Yah Veh.

³ to do evil with both palms well-pleasingly, the governor and the judge ask for satisfaction; and the great words of the mischief of his soul: thus they pervert.

³² Awe not, little shepherddom; for your Father well-approves to give you the sovereigndom.

²¹ And Achiy Thophel says to Abi Shalom, Go in to the concubines of your father, whom he allowed to guard the house; so that all Yisra El hears that you stink of your father: then strengthen the hands of all who are with you.

¹⁸ When you see a thief, he pleases you; and you allot with adulterers: ¹⁹ you spread your mouth to evil and contrive your tongue to deceit:

²⁷ Cease, my son, to hear the discipline to err inadvertently from the sayings of knowledge.

²⁴ And she goes, and says to her mother, What ask I? And she says, The head of Yahn the Baptizer. ²⁵ And straightway she enters with diligence to the sovereign and asks, wording, I will that you give me, immediately on a platter, the head of Yahn the Baptizer.

¹⁵ so now you and the sanhedrim manifest to the chiliarch to bring him down to you tomorrow - as though to know more exactly about him: and ere he approaches, we are prepared to take him out.

⁶ And Abraham hastens into the tent to Sarah and says, Hasten three seahs of fine flour, knead and work ashcakes.

THE PARABLE OF FERMENTATION
He speaks another parable to them: The sovereigndom of the heavens is likened to fermentation; that a woman takes and hides in three seahs of flour until the whole is fermented.

YOSEPH REVEALS HIS IDENTITY And Yoseph cannot refrain himself in front of all who station themselves by him; and he calls, Have every man go out from me! And no man stands with him, as Yoseph has his brothers know who he is:

¹⁹ But he himself turns from the sculptiles by Gilgal and says, I have a covert word to you, O sovereign. He says, Hush! - and all who stand by him go from him. ²⁰ For everyone doing evil hates the light; and comes not to the light lest his works be reproved:

¹¹ and so be it, this day, he goes into the house to work his work; and there no man of the men of the house is within the house: ¹² and she captures him by his clothes, saying, Lie with me! - and he leaves his clothes in her hand and flees and gets out.

² and when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivviy, hierarch of the land, sees her, he takes her and lies down with her and humbles her:

⁷ and when the sons of Yaaqov hear they come from the field: and the men contort and inflame mightily, because he worked folly in Yisra El in lying with the daughter of Yaaqov; which ought not to be worked.

¹¹ Expose not the nakedness of the daughter of the woman of your father, kindred of your father: she is your sister; expose not her nakedness.

²⁹ then the man who lies with her gives fifty silver to the father of the lass and she becomes his woman: and because he humbled her he cannot send her away all his days.

²³ And the man - the master of the house goes out to them and says to them, No, my brothers, I beseech you, vilify not; after this man comes into my house, work not this folly.

⁶ And I possessed my concubine and dismembered her; and send her throughout all the fields of the inheritance of Yisra El: for they work intrigue and folly in Yisra El.

²² His own perversities capture the wicked - upheld by the cords of his own sins: ²³ he dies without discipline; and in the greatness of his folly he errs inadvertently.

⁷ and see among the gullible: I discern among the sons a lad lacking heart

⁸ behold, I beseech, I have two daughters who know no man; I - I beseech you, I bring them out to you and you work to them as is good in your eyes: only work no word to these men; and so they come under the shadow of my beams.

¹² and yet truly she is my sister: she is the daughter of my father but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my woman.

²⁴ Behold, my daughter - a virgin and his concubine; I bring them out now: abase them and work with them as seems good in your eyes: but work not this word of folly to this man.

²⁵ And if a man finds a betrothed lass in the field and the man takes strong hold of her and lies with her: then only the man who lies with her dies: ²⁶ and work no word to the lass; there is no sin of death in the lass: for as when a man rises against his friend and murders his soul, even thus is this word: ²⁷ for he found her in the field and the betrothed lass cried with no one to save her.

⁵ and the masters of Gibah rose against me and surrounded the house on me by night and considered slaughtering me: and abased my concubine that she died.

¹¹ Thus says Yah Veh, Behold, I raise evil against you from your own house and I take your women in front of your eyes and give them to your friend: to lie down with your women in the eyes of this sun.

⁸ And the sovereign returns from the palace garden to the house of the banquet of wine; and Haman falls upon the bed whereon Ester is. And the sovereign says, Subdues he also the sovereigness in front of me in the house? As the word goes from the mouth of the sovereign, they cover the face of Haman.

¹⁷ and the sons of Babel come to her into the bed of love, and they foul her with their whoredom and she is fouled by them; and her soul alienates from them:

³ Yisra El loves Yoseph more than all his sons, because he is the son of his old age: and he works him a coverall coat.

²³ And so be it, when Yoseph comes to his brothers, they strip the coat from Yoseph - his coverall coat on him;

³² and they send the coverall coat and bring it to their father; and say, We found this! Recognize, I beseech, whether it be the coat of your son, or no.

³⁰ Found they not? Allot they the spoil to the head mighty? A maiden or two maidens to Sisera? A spoil of dyes - a spoil of dyes of embroidery - of dyes of embroidery on both sides for the necks of the spoilers?

¹³ Inwardly, the daughter of the sovereign is all honorable; her robe is of gold brocade ¹⁴ - brought to the sovereign in embroidery; the virgins her friends behind her - brought to you

⁶ And Yah Shua rips his clothes, and falls to the earth on his face at the face of the ark of Yah Veh until the evening - he and the elders of Yisra El; and ascend dust on their heads.

THE DEATH OF ELI
And a man of the ranks of Ben Yamin runs and comes to Shiloh the same day with his tailoring ripped and with soil on his head:

² and so be it, on the third day, behold, a man comes from the camp of Shaul with his clothes ripped and soil on his head: and so be it, he comes to David and falls to the earth and prostrates.

¹¹ And David holds his clothes and rips them; and also all the men with him:

ESTER TOLD OF THE PLOT OF HAMAN
And Mordekay perceives all that was worked, and Mordekay rips his clothes and enrobes saq with ashes; and goes midst the city and cries a great and a bitter cry;

¹² And they lift their eyes afar off and recognize him not, and they lift their voice and weep; and each man rips his mantle and sprinkles dust on his head toward the heavens:

⁶ so I spurn and sigh in dust and ashes.

³⁷ Yes, you go forth from him, with your hands on your head: for Yah Veh spurns your confidences, and you prosper not therein.

¹⁵ These are the sons of Leah, whom she birthed to Yaaqov in Paddan Aram with his daughter Dinah. - all the souls of his sons and his daughters are thirty-three.

²⁴ He who hates is recognized by his lips and places deceit within him;

¹⁹ Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but give place to wrath: for it is scribed, Vengeance is mine; I recompense, words Yah Veh. ^{Deuteronomy 32:35}

²² And Eli is mighty old, and hears of all his sons work to all Yisra El; and how they lie down with the women who host at the opening of the tent of the congregation. ²³ And he says to them, Why work you according to these words? for I hear of your evil words by all this people. ²⁴ No, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: you cause the people of Yah Veh to trespass. ²⁵ When one man sins against man, Elohim prays for him: but when a man sins against Yah Veh, who prays for him? And they hearken not to the voice of their father, because Yah Veh desires to deathify them.

²⁹ Why trample you at my sacrifice and at my offering which I misvah in my habitation? - and honor your sons above me to cut the firstlings of all the offerings of Yisra El my people?

²⁸ And afterward, David hears, and he says, I and my sovereigndom are eternally innocent at the face of Yah Veh from the blood of Abi Ner the son of Ner: ²⁹ it awaits on the head of Yah Ab and on all the house of his father; that there not be cut off from the house of Yah Ab one who flows or is a leper or who holds a crutch or who falls on the sword or who lacks bread.

⁵ And David kindles his wrath mightily against the man; and he says to Nathan, Yah Veh lives! The man who works this is a son of death:

¹⁰ and now the sword turns not aside from your house eternally; finally, you despised me and took the woman of Uri Yah the Hethiy to be your woman.

⁸ Mornings I exterminate all the wicked of the land; to cut off all mischievous from the city of Yah Veh.

⁵⁰ Then Laban and Bethu El answer and say, The word proceeds from Yah Veh: we cannot word to you evil or good.

²⁴ And Elohim comes to Laban the Aramiy in a dream by night and says to him, Guard that you word not to Yaaqov from good to evil.

²⁹ It is in the el of my hand to work you evil: but Elohim of your father worded to me yesternight, saying, Guard that you not word to Yaaqov from good to evil.

¹⁷ Hate not your brother in your heart: in reproving, reprove your friend and exalt not his sin: ¹⁸ neither avenge nor guard against the sons of your people, but love your friend as yourself: I - Yah Veh.

¹⁸ He who hides hatred with false lips and he who utters a slander, is a fool.

⁹ Defend your defence with your friend; and expose not a private counsel to another;

⁴ Fury is cruel and wrath overflows; and who is able to stand at the face of envy? ⁵ Exposed reproof is better than hidden love. ⁶ Trustworthy are the wounds of a lover; and the kisses of haters abound.

⁹ Be not hasty in your spirit to be vexed; for vexation rests in the bosom of fools.

A SINNING BROTHER
And whenever your brother sins to you, go and reprove him between you and him alone: whenever he hears you, you gain your brother:

ADMONITIONS TO THE HOLY
Be wroth and sin not: neither have the sun go down upon your rage:

³¹ Take from you all bitterness and fury and anger and crying out and blasphemy with all malice:

⁹ Whoever words that he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness even until now:

¹¹ but whoever hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness and knows not where he goes - because darkness blinds his eyes.

¹⁵ whoever hates his brother is a murderer - and you know that not any murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

¹² And as the days abound, the daughter of Shuah, the woman of Yah Hudah dies: and Yah Hudah sighs and ascends to his flockshearers to Timnah, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamiy. ¹³
THE WHOREDOM OF YAH HUDAH
And they tell Tamar, saying, Behold, your father in law ascends to Timnah to shear his flock.

² And a man in Maon, whose works are in Karmel - the man is mighty great and has three thousand flock and a thousand doe goats: and he shears his flock in Karmel.

⁴ And in the wilderness David hears that Nabal shears his flock:

⁷ And now I hear that you have shearers: now your tenders who are with us, we neither shamed them nor oversaw aught of theirs all their days in Karmel:

³⁶ And Abi Gail comes to Nabal; and behold, he holds a banquet in his house, as the banquet of a sovereign; and the heart of Nabal is good within him, and he is mighty intoxicated: she tells him no word, less or great, until the morning light.

⁹ And Adoni Yah sacrifices flock and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zocheleth by En Rogel; and calls all his brothers, sons of the sovereign; and all the men of Yah Hudah, servants of the sovereign:

¹⁹ and he sacrifices oxen and fatlings and flocks in abundance; and calls all the sons of the sovereign and Abi Athar the priest and Yah Ab the governor of the host; and Shelomoh your servant he calls not:

²⁵ For he descends this day and sacrifices oxen and fatlings and flocks in abundance and calls all the sons of the sovereign and the governors of the host and Abi Athar the priest: and behold, they eat and drink at his face and say, Sovereign Adoni Yah lives.

THE REBELLION OF MOAB
And Mesha sovereign of Moab is a brander; and he returns a hundred thousand rams and a hundred thousand rams wool to the sovereign of Yisra El.

¹⁰ and he builds towers in the wilderness and hewes many wells: for he has much chattel - both in the lowlands and in the plains - cultivators and vine dressers in the mountains and in orchards/Karmel: for he loves the soil:

⁸ And David says to Uri Yah, Descend to your house and baptize your feet. And Uri Yah goes from the house of the sovereign and an exaltment from the sovereign goes after him: ⁹ and Uri Yah lies down at the portal of the house of the sovereign with all the servants of his adoni and descends not to his house. ¹⁰ And they tell David, saying, Uri Yah descends not to his house. And David says to Uri Yah, Came you not from a journey? Why descend you not to your house? ¹¹ And Uri Yah says to David, The ark and Yisra El and Yah Hudah settle in sukkoth/brush arbors; and my adoni Yah Ab and the servants of my adoni encamp on the face of the fields: and I - go I to my house, to eat and to drink and to lie down with my woman? As you live and as your soul lives, I work no such word. ¹² And David says to Uri Yah, Settle here today also and tomorrow I send you away. So Uri Yah settles in Yeru Shalem that day and the morrow: ¹³ and David calls him, and he eats and drinks at his face; and he intoxicates him: and at evening he goes out to lie down on his bed with the servants of his adoni; but he descends not to his house. ¹⁴ And so be it, in the morning, David inscribes a scroll to Yah Ab and sends it by the hand of Uri Yah: ¹⁵ and he inscribes in the scroll, saying, Give Uri Yah at the face of the strongest war and you turn back from after him that he be smitten and die.
