And Yah Ab the son of Seruyah perceives that the heart of the sovereign is on Abi Shalom: ² and Yah Ab sends to Teqoha and takes thence a wise woman and says to her, I pray you, feign yourself to be a mourner and enrobe mourning clothes; and anoint not yourself with oil: and be as a woman who mourns for the dead many days: ³ and come to the sovereign and word this word to him. - and Yah Ab sets the words in her mouth. ⁴ And the woman Teqohiy says to the sovereign; and she falls on her nostrils to the earth and prostrates and says, Save, O sovereign. ⁵ And the sovereign says to her, What - to you? And she says, I am truly a widow woman; and my man dies: ⁶ and your maid has two sons and the two strive in the field and there is no rescuer between them, and the one smites the first and deathifies him: ⁷ and behold, the whole family rises against your maid and they say, Give him who smote his brother - to deathify him for the soul of his brother he slaughtered; and we desolate his successor also: and so they quench my coal which survives and set neither name nor survivors to my man on the face of the soil. ⁸ And the sovereign says to the woman, Go to your house and I misvah concerning you. ⁹ And the woman Teqohiy says to the sovereign, My adoni, O sovereign, the perversion be on me and on the house of my father: and the sovereign and his throne be innocent. ¹⁰ And the sovereign says, Bring me whoever words to you, that he not add to touch you. ¹¹ Then she says, I pray you, may the sovereign remember Yah Veh your Elohim - that the redeemers of blood not abound to ruin lest they destroy my son. And he says, Yah Veh lives! Not one hair of your son falls to the earth. ¹² And the woman says, Let your maid, I pray you, word a word to my adoni the sovereign. And he says, Word on. ¹³ And the woman says, And why fabricate you such a word against the people of Elohim? For the sovereign words this word as one who is guilty, in that the sovereign returns not his expelled: ¹⁴ for in dying, we die and are as water poured on the earth, which is not gathered; because Elohim takes not away a soul: yet he fabricates fabrications, that his expelled not be expelled from him: ¹⁵ now I come to word this word to my adoni the sovereign, because the people have me to awe: and your maid says, I now word to the sovereign; so that perhaps the sovereign works the word of his maid. ¹⁶ For the sovereign hearkens to rescue his maid from the palm of the man who desolates me and my son together from the inheritance of Elohim. ¹⁷ And your maid says, The word of my adoni the sovereign now rests: for as an angel of Elohim thus is my adoni the sovereign - to hear good and evil: therefore Yah Veh your Elohim be with you. ¹⁸ Then the sovereign answers the woman and says, Conceal not from me, I pray you, the word I ask you. And the woman says, Let my adoni the sovereign now word. ¹⁹ And the sovereign says, Is the hand of Yah Ab with you in all this? And the woman answers and says, Your soul lives, my adoni the sovereign, no man can turn right or left from aught that my adoni the sovereign words: for your servant Yah Ab, he misvahed me and he set all these words in the mouth of your maid: ²⁰ so as to go about the face of this word your servant Yah Ab worked this word: and my adoni is wise as the wisdom of an angel of Elohim, to know all that is in the earth. ²¹ And the sovereign says to Yah Ab, Behold, I pray you, I work this word: go, return the lad Abi Shalom. ²² And Yah Ab falls to the earth on his face and prostrates and blesses the sovereign: and Yah Ab says, Today your servant knows that I find charism in your eyes, my adoni, O sovereign, in that the sovereign works the word of his servant. ²³ And Yah Ab rises and goes to Geshur and brings Abi Shalom to Yeru Shalem. ²⁴ And the sovereign says, Have him return to his own house and not see my face. So Abi Shalom returns to his own house and sees not the face of the sovereign: ²⁵ but in all Yisra El there is no man as mightily halaled as Abi Shalom; none become as handsome a man: from the sole of his foot even to his scalp; there is no blemish in him. ²⁶ And he shaves his head; - and at the end of days by days he shaves - and because it is heavy on him, he shaves; he weighs the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the stone of the sovereign. ²⁷ And three sons are birthed to Abi Shalom and one daughter; her name is Tamar: she is a woman of beautiful visage. ²⁸ So Abi Shalom settles two years of days in Yeru Shalem and sees not the face of the sovereign. ²⁹ And Abi Shalom sends for Yah Ab, to send him to the sovereign; but he wills to not come to him: and when he sends again the second time, he wills to not come. ³⁰ And he says to his servants, See, the allotment of Yah Ab is near my hand, and he has barley there; go and burn it on fire. And the servants of Abi Shalom set the allotment on fire: ³¹ and Yah Ab rises and comes to Abi Shalom - to his house and says to him, Your servants, why burn they my allotment on fire? ³² And Abi Shalom says to Yah Ab, Behold, I send to you, saying, Come here, that I may send you to the sovereign, to say, Why come I from Geshur? It had been good for me to still be there: and now have me see the face of the sovereign; and if there be perversity in me, may he deathify me. ³³ And Yah Ab comes to the sovereign and tells him: and he calls for Abi Shalom, and he comes to the sovereign and prostrates himself on his nostrils to the earth at the face of the sovereign: and the sovereign kisses Abi Shalom.

¹⁸ And three sons of Seruyah are there: Yah Ab and Abi Shai and Asa El: and Asa El is as swift of foot as one of the gazelles in the field:

³⁹ And sovereign David concludes to go to Abi Shalom: for he sighs concerning Amnon, seeing he died.

³³ And the sovereign quivers and ascends to the upper room over the portal and weeps: and as he goes, he says thus, O my son Abi Shalom! My son - my son Abi Shalom! O that I had died in your stead! O Abi Shalom! My son - my son!

² and the salvation that day becomes mourning to all the people: for that day the people hear say that the sovereign writhes for his son:

⁴ And the sovereign muffles his face and the sovereign cries with a great voice, O my son Abi Shalom! O Abi Shalom! My son - my son!

³ And you, baptise and anoint yourself and set your clothes upon you and descend to the threshingfloor; and that the man not know you until he finishes eating and drinking:

⁵ and at their hand: the Teqoaiy strengthen; and their mighty put not their necks to the service of their Adonay;

²⁷ after them: the Teqoaiy strengthen a second measure over against the great tower that goes out even to the wall of Ophel;

¹⁵ and wine to cheer the heart of man and ointment to shine his face and bread to support the heart of man.

⁸ Your clothes at all times become white; and your head lacks no ointment.

YERU SHALEM IS VISITED
O you sons of Ben Yamin, withdraw yourselves to flee from midst Yeru Shalem: and blast the shophar in Teqoa and lift a burden in Beth Hak Kerem: for evil looks from the north, and great breaking.

INTRODUCTION
The words of Amos, being among the branders of Teqoa, which he sees concerning Yisra El in the days of Uzzi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah; and in the days of Yarob Am the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yisra El, two years ere the face of the quake.

¹⁷ But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face;

¹⁵ and you word to him and put words in his mouth: and I - I am with your mouth and with his mouth and direct you what to work.

⁵ And Yah Veh puts a word in the mouth of Bilam, and says, Return to Balaq and word thus.

¹⁶ And I set my words in your mouth; and I covered you in the shadow of my hand to plant the heavens and to lay the foundations of the earth, and to say to Siyon, You are my people.

²¹ As for me, this is my covenant with them, says Yah Veh; My spirit which is on you, and my words which I set in your mouth, depart, neither from your mouth nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of the seed of your seed, says Yah Veh, from henceforth and eternally.

⁹ And Yah Veh spreads his hand, and touches my mouth: and Yah Veh says to me, Behold, I give my words in your mouth.

⁴¹ And as soon as the lad goes, David rises from beside the south and falls on his nostrils to the earth and prostrates himself three times: and they kiss man to friend and weep man to friend, until David greatens.

²³ And Abi Gail sees David, and she hastens and descends off the he burro and falls on her face at the nostrils of David; and prostrates herself to the earth

² and so be it, on the third day, behold, a man comes from the camp of Shaul with his clothes ripped and soil on his head: and so be it, he comes to David and falls to the earth and prostrates.

¹² because I rescued them who cried - the humble and the orphan and whoever had no helper. ¹³ The blessing of him who was ready to destruct came on me; and I caused the heart of the widow to shout. ¹⁴ I enrobed justness and it enrobed me; my judgment was as a mantle and a turban;

³ and there is a widow in that city; and she comes to him, wording, Avenge me of mine adversary. ⁴ And for a time, he wills not: but after these he says within himself, Though I neither awe Elohim nor respect humanity; ⁵ yet indeed, because this widow embarrasses me, I avenge her; lest by her coming to the completion/shalom, she subdues me.

⁸ In going, the trees go to anoint a sovereign over them; and they say to the olive tree, Reign over us. ⁹ And the olive tree says to them, I - forsake I my fatness wherewith by me they honor Elohim and man - to go wave over the trees? ¹⁰ And the trees say to the fig tree, Come and reign over us. ¹¹ And the fig tree says to them, I - forsake I my sweetness and my good produce - to go wave over the trees? ¹² Then the trees say to the vine, Come and reign over us. ¹³ And the vine says to them, I - forsake I my juice which cheers Elohim and man to go wave over the trees? ¹⁴ Then all the trees say to the thorn, Come and reign over us. ¹⁵ And the thorn says to the trees, If in truth you anoint me sovereign over you, then seek refuge in my shadow: and if not, fire comes from the thorn and consumes the cedars of Lebanon.

NATHAN REBUKES DAVID
And Yah Veh sends Nathan to David: and he comes to him and says to him, Two men are in one city - the one rich and the one impoverished: ² the rich has mighty abundant flocks and oxen; ³ but the impoverished has naught - except one little ewe lamb which he chatteled and livened: and it grows together with him and with his sons: it eats of his own morsel and drinks of his own cup and lies down in his bosom as his daughter.

⁸ And Qayin talks with Abel his brother: and so be it, in the field, Qayin rises against Abel his brother and slaughters him.

¹³ And he goes out the second day, and behold, two men of the Hebrews striving together: and he says to the wicked, Why smite your friend?

²⁶ and work no word to the lass; there is no sin of death in the lass: for as when a man rises against his friend and murders his soul, even thus is this word: ²⁷ for he found her in the field and the betrothed lass cried with no one to save her.

¹⁴ Behold, you expel me this day from the face of the soil; and from your face I am hid; and I become a waverer and wanderer in the earth; and so be it, every one who finds me slaughters me.

⁴⁵ until the wrath of your brother turns from you and forgets what you worked to him: and I send and take you from there: why bereave me also of you two in one day?

¹⁹ The redeemer of blood himself deathifies the murderer: when he encounters him, he deathifies him.

¹² then the elders of his city send and take him and give him to the hand of the redeemer of blood, that he dies. ¹³ Your eye spares him not, and you burn the innocent blood from Yisra El, that it be good with you.

⁶ and so be it, the firstbirth she births becomes raised in the name of his brother who died, that his name becomes not wiped out from Yisra El.

¹⁷ And the elders of his house rise to him, to raise him off the earth: but he neither wills nor chews bread with them.

⁵ And David kindles his wrath mightily against the man; and he says to Nathan, Yah Veh lives! The man who works this is a son of death: ⁶ and have him shalam fourfold for the ewe lamb because he works this word, and finally, has no compassion.

⁴ Then the sovereign says to Siba, Behold, you are all to Mephi Bosheth. And Siba says, I prostrate to you to find charism in your eyes, my adoni, O sovereign.

¹⁶ - a father to the needy. I probed contentions that I knew not;

¹³ He who responds to a word ere he hears - folly and shame to him.

³ and scents him in the awe of Yah Veh: and he neither judges after the sight of his eyes, nor reproves after the hearing of his ears: ⁴ and with justness he judges the poor, and reproves with straightness for the humble of the earth: and he smites the earth with the scion of his mouth and with the spirit of his lips he executes the wicked:

¹³ And his mother says to him, On me become your abasement, my son: only hear my voice and go take me them.

³³ And profane not the land wherein you are; for blood profanes the land: and you cannot kapar/atone the land for the blood poured therein, except by the blood of him who poured it.

THE TORAH ON UNKNOWN ASSASSINS When you find someone pierced on the soil Yah Veh your Elohim gives you to possess - fallen in the field and know not who pierced him: ² then your elders and your judges come and measure to the cities all around the pierced: ³ and so be it, the city nearest to the pierced, even the elders of that city take a heifer of the oxen which neither served nor drawn in the yoke; ⁴ and the elders of that city descend the heifer to a perennial wadi, - neither served nor seeded and break the neck of the heifer there in the wadi: ⁵ and the priests the sons of Levi come near; for Yah Veh your Elohim chooses them to minister to him and to bless in the name of Yah Veh; and by their mouth is every dispute and every plague: ⁶ and all the elders of the city near the pierced, baptize their hands over the heifer whose neck they broke in the wadi: ⁷ and they answer and say, Neither our hands poured this blood, nor our eyes seen. ⁸ Kapar/Atone, O Yah Veh, to your people Yisra El whom you redeemed; and give not innocent blood midst your people Yisra El. - and the blood kapars/atones. ⁹ Thus you burn the innocent blood from among you, when you work straight in the eyes of Yah Veh.

²⁴ and falls at his feet and says, On me, my adoni, this perversity: and may your maid, I beseech you, word in your ears; hear the words of your maid:

²⁸ And afterward, David hears, and he says, I and my sovereigndom are eternally innocent at the face of Yah Veh from the blood of Abi Ner the son of Ner: ²⁹ it awaits on the head of Yah Ab and on all the house of his father; that there not be cut off from the house of Yah Ab one who flows or is a leper or who holds a crutch or who falls on the sword or who lacks bread.

³³ their blood returns on the head of Yah Ab and on the head of his seed eternally: but on David and on his seed and on his house and on his throne, there is shalom eternally from Yah Veh.

²⁵ And all the people answer, saying, His blood - on us and on our children.

²² And Abram says to the sovereign of Sedom, I lift my hand to Yah Veh, El Elyon, who chattels the heavens and earth,

² and Abraham says to the elder servant of his house who reigns over all he has, Put, I pray you, your hand under my flank: ³ and I oath you by Yah Veh, Elohim of the heavens and Elohim of the earth, that you not take a woman to my son of the daughters of the Kenaaniy, among whom I settle:

⁵⁰ If you humble my daughters, or if you take women beside my daughters - no man is with us - see Elohim is witness between me and between you.

²¹ or in enmity smites him with his hand, that he die: in deathifying, deathify him who smites him; for he is a murderer: the redeemer of blood deathifies the murderer, when he encounters him.

²⁷ and the redeemer of blood finds him outside the borders of the city of his refuge and the redeemer of blood murders the murderer; he is not guilty of blood:

⁴ And this is the word of the murderer, who flees there, and lives: Whoever smites his friend unknowingly, whom he hated not three yesters ago; ⁵ as when a man goes to the forest with his friend to chop timber and his hand drives the axe to cut down the tree and the iron slips from the timber and finds his friend, that he dies; he flees to one of those cities and lives: ⁶ lest the redeemer of the blood pursue the murderer while his heart is hot and overtakes him because the way abounds and he smites the soul of him who has no judgment of death - because he hated him not three yesters ago: ⁷ so I misvah you, saying, Separate three cities for yourselves. ⁸ And if Yah Veh your Elohim widens your border as he oathed to your fathers; and gives you all the land he worded to give your fathers; ⁹ when you guard all these misvoth, to work them, which I misvah you this day - to love Yah Veh your Elohim and to walk all days in his ways; then add three cities more for you besides these three: ¹⁰ so that innocent blood is not poured in the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - an inheritance and blood becomes on you.

³ for the murderer who smites a soul by inadvertent error unknowingly to flee to: to be your refuge from the redeemer of blood. ⁴ And when one flees to one of those cities and stands at the portal of the portal of the city and words his word in the ears of the elders of that city, they gather him into the city to themselves and give him a place to settle among them. ⁵ And when the redeemer of blood pursues after him, they shut not the murderer into his hand - because he smote his friend unknowingly and hated him not three yesters ago: ⁶ and he settles in that city until he stands at the face of the witness for judgment until the death of the great priest being in those days: then the murderer returns and comes to his own city and to his own house to the city whence he fled.

⁴² And Yah Nathan says to David, Go in shalom; inasmuch as we oathed, both of us, in the name of Yah Veh, saying, Yah Veh be between me and between you and between my seed and between your seed eternally. - and he rises and goes: and Yah Nathan goes into the city.

¹⁰ And Shaul oaths to her by Yah Veh, saying, Yah Veh lives, no perversion happens to you for this word.

⁵² And Shelomoh says, If he shows himself a son of valour, not a hair of his falls to the earth: but if evil is found in him, he dies.

² and you oath, Yah Veh lives! - in truth, in judgment and in justness: and the goyim bless themselves in him and in him they halal.

³⁰ but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

³⁴ So I beseech you to take nourishment: for this is for your salvation: for not a hair falls from the head of any of you.

²⁷ And Abraham answers and says, Behold, I beseech, I will to word to Adonay, I - dust and ashes:

³² And he says, Oh Adonay, inflame not; and I word this time only: Perhaps ten be found there. And he says, I ruin not for sake of the ten.

THE PRAYER OF YIRME YAH
You are just, O Yah Veh, O that I plead with you - word to you of judgments! Why prospers the way of the wicked? Why are all they serene - who in dealing covertly, deal covertly?

PAULOS PLEADS TO AGRIPPA
So Agrippa says to Paulos, You are allowed to word for yourself. So Paulos spreads the hand and pleads for himself:

² and the chiefs of all the people - of all the scions of Yisra El, set themselves in the congregation of the people of Elohim - four hundred thousand footmen who draw sword.

YAH VEH SABAOTH CUTS A COVENANT WITH DAVID
Now say thus to my servant David, Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, I took you from the habitation of rest - from after the flock to be eminent over my people - over Yisra El:

⁷ And Nathan says to David, You are the man! Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, I anointed you sovereign over Yisra El and I rescued you from the hand of Shaul;

³⁷ and Abi Shalom flees and goes to Talmay the son of Ammi Hud sovereign of Geshur; and mourns for his son every day. ³⁸ And Abi Shalom flees and goes to Geshur and is there three years.

⁴⁰ - and as your servant works here and there, and he is nowhere. And the sovereign of Yisra El says to him, Thus your judgment - as you appoint. ⁴¹ And he hastens and turns aside the ashes from his eyes; and the sovereign of Yisra El recognizes that he is of the prophets; ⁴² and he says to him, Thus says Yah Veh, Because you send away from your hand a man whom I devoted to destruction, so be it, your soul for his soul and your people for his people.

⁴² and they having naught to give he grants them both charism. So say, which of them loves him most? ⁴³ Shimon answers, saying, I perceive him to whom he granted most charism. And he says to him, You judge straightforwardly. ⁴⁴ And he turns to the woman, and says to Shimon, See this woman? I entered your house, you gave me no water for my feet; but she has moistens my feet with tears, and squeezedries with the hairs of her head:

¹³ And if a man lurks not, but Elohim happens him into his hand; then I set you a place for him to flee.

THE REWARD FOR WRINGING HANDS
And if they wring hands for their perversity and the perversity of their fathers, and the treason they treason against me and also for walking contrary to me;

¹⁵ These six cities are a refuge for the sons of Yisra El and for the sojourner and for the settler in their midst: for every one who smites a soul by inadvertent error to flee there.

²⁵ and the witness rescues the murderer from the hand of the redeemer of blood and the witness restores him to the city of his refuge, from which he fled: and he settles there until the death of the great priest who was anointed with the holy oil.

²⁸ because he was to settle in the city of his refuge until the death of the great priest: but after the death of the great priest the murderer returns to the land of his possession.

¹⁷ for Yah Veh your Elohim - Elohim of elohim and Adonay of adonim, the great El, the mighty and the awesome, who neither lifts faces, nor takes bribes:

²⁵ Then David says to the angel, Say thus to Yah Ab, This word is not evil in your eyes; for thus the sword devours one: strengthen your warfare against the city and demolish it: and you strengthen him.

⁷ For there is hope of a tree, if it is cut down, that it change again, that its sprout not cease. ⁸ Though the root age in the earth and the stump die in the dust; ⁹ and blossoms through the scent of water and works harvest as a plant; ¹⁰ the mighty dies and decays; yes, humanity expires - and where is he? ¹¹ The waters gad about from the sea and the flood parches and dries: ¹² thus man lies down and rises not; until the heavens be no more they waken not - waken not from their sleep.

¹⁴ If the mighty die, enlivens he? All the days of my hostility, I wait - until my change comes.

²³ For I know that you return me to death and to the house of the congregation of all the living.

¹⁵ All flesh expires together and humanity returns to dust.

¹⁹ - of him who neither accepts faces of governors nor recognize the opulent more than the face of the poor? - they all are the work of his hands.

¹⁴ I am poured as water and all my bones separate; my heart is as wax melted midst my inwards;

⁷ dissipate them as waters which pass continually; he aims his arrows as though they are cut off:

³ they pour their blood as water all around Yeru Shalem; and no one entombs.

³ You return man to crush; and say, Return, you sons of humanity.

¹⁰ the days of our years, seventy years; and if by might, eighty years; yet their pride is toil and mischief - quickly passed over and we fly away.

¹⁹ For what happens to the sons of humanity happens to animals - even this happens to them; as this dies, thus that dies; yes, they all have one spirit; so that humanity has no advantage over an animal; for all is vanity. ²⁰ All go to one place; all became of dust; all return to dust.

⁵ For the living know that they die; but the dead know naught: they have no more a hire; for their memorial is forgotten.

THE SIN OF YISRA EL
Thus says Yah Veh, Where is the scroll of divorcement of your mother whom I sent away? Or to which of my exactors have I sold you? Behold, for your perversities you sold yourselves, and for your rebellions is your mother sent away. ² Why, when I came, was there no man? I called, and no one answered? In shortening, is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no force to rescue? Behold, at my rebuke I parch the sea; I set the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink because there is no water and they die for thirst:

¹⁶ and they apostolize their disciples with the Herodians to him, wording, Doctor, we know you are true, and doctrinate the way of Elohim in truth; and you concern not about anyone: for you look not on the face of humanity:

THE FOURTH MESSAGE OF PETROS
And Petros opens his mouth, and says, Of a truth I overtake that Elohim is not partial:

²⁷ and he treaded against your servant to my adoni the sovereign; and my adoni the sovereign is as an angel of Elohim: so work whatever is good in your eyes:

⁹ give your servant a hearing heart to judge your people - to discern between good and evil: for who is able to judge this - your grievous people?

²⁸ And all Yisra El hears of the judgment the sovereign judged; and they awe at the face of the sovereign: for they see the wisdom of Elohim in his midst to work judgment.

³⁰ Is there wickedness in my tongue? Cannot my palate discern calamity?

²¹ As the crucible for silver and the furnace for gold; thus a man by the halal of his mouth.

⁵ A mighty who smoothes over his friend spreads a net for his steps.

¹⁴ And the soulical human receives not those of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness to him: nor can he know, because they are spiritually judged. ¹⁵ But whoever is spiritual, indeed judges all; yet he himself is judged by no one.

IDOL SACRIFICES
And concerning idol sacrifices: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs, but love edifies. ² And if anyone thinks he knows aught, still he knows naught, exactly as he needs to know.

This is the exaltment you lift: the sixth of an ephah of a chomer of wheat, - hexsect an ephah of a chomer of barley: ¹⁴ concerning the statute of oil, the bath of oil, the tithe of a bath from the cor, a chomer of ten baths; for ten baths are a chomer:

AMNON AND TAMAR
And so be it, after this, Abi Shalom the son of David has a beautiful sister, and her name is Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loves her;
