BEING ON GUARD

¹² Yah Veh judge between me and between you and Yah Veh avenge me of you: but my hand becomes not upon you.

³⁹ And this day I am tender, though anointed sovereign; and these men - the sons of Seruyah are too hard for me: Yah Veh shalams the worker of evil according to his evil.

⁴ Give them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their exploits; give them according to the work of their hands; return to them as they deal.

¹² and with you, O Adonay, mercy: for you shalam each according to his work.

⁵ and against me, they set evil for good and hatred for my love. ⁶ Set the wicked over him; and stand Satan at his right: ⁷ in judging, judge him with the wicked; and that his prayer become sin ⁸ and his days become few and another take his oversight: ⁹ and his sons become orphans and his woman a widow: ¹⁰ in wandering, that his sons wander; yes, ask; and seek from their parched areas. ¹¹ The exactor snares all he has and the strangers plunder his labor; ¹² neither is there any to draw out mercy to him nor any to grant charism to his orphans: ¹³ his posterity becomes cut off; and in another generation their name is wiped out: ¹⁴ the perversity of his fathers is remembered to Yah Veh; and the sin of his mother is not wiped out; ¹⁵ they become in front of Yah Veh continually to cut off their memorial from the earth: ¹⁶ because he remembered not to work mercy and pursued the humble and needy man to deathify the dejected in heart. ¹⁷ As he loves to abase, thus it approaches him; as he delights not in blessing, so be it far from him: ¹⁸ he enrobes abasing as tailoring, thus it enters his inwards as water - as ointment into his bones: ¹⁹ so be it as the clothes that cover him and for a girdle to continually gird: ²⁰ this is for the deeds of my satans from Yah Veh and for them who word evil against my soul.

¹⁵ O Yah Veh, you know: remember me and visit me and avenge me of my pursuers; take me not away in the length of your wrath: know that for your sake, I bear reproach.

¹⁹ Hearken to me, O Yah Veh, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. ²⁰ Shalam we evil for good? For they dig a chasm for my soul. Remember that I stood at your face to word good for them and to turn away your fury from them. ²¹ So give their sons to the famine and pour them by the hand of the sword; so that their women bereave and become widows; and their men become slaughtered; - their youths smitten by the sword in war. ²² Hear their cry from the houses when you bring a troop suddenly on them: for they dig a chasm to capture me and hide snares for my feet. ²³ Yet, O Yah Veh, you know all their counsel against me - to execute me: neither kapar/atone their perversity nor wipe out their sin from your face; fell them at your face; work thus with them in the time of your wrath.

⁶ Give to her even as she gave to you and double to her double according to her works: in the cup she mingles, mingle to her double:

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O the heavens and you holy apostles and prophets; because Elohim judges your judgment of her.
