² Hear, O heavens; and hearken, O earth: for Yah Veh words, I nourished and raised sons, and they - they rebelled against me.

HO TO THE REVOLTING SONS
Ho to the revolting sons - an oracle of Yah Veh who work counsel, but not mine; and who pour a pouring, but not of my spirit, who scrape up sin to sin:

⁹ that this is a rebellious people - deceptive sons - sons who will to not hear the torah of Yah Veh:

¹⁰ And they rebelled and contorted his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy - he fought against them:

THE PRESSURE CALDRON
And so be the word of Yah Veh to me secondly, saying, What see you? And I say, I see a pressure caldron; and the face thereof is at the face of the north.

¹³ because of the rage of Yah Veh it is not settled and becomes wholly desolate: every one who passes by Babel astonishes and hisses at all her wounds. ¹⁴ Line up against Babel, all around - all you who bend the bow: hand toss at her; spare no arrows: for she sinned against Yah Veh.

³ and he says to me, Son of humanity, I send you to the sons of Yisra El - to a rebelling goyim who rebel against me: they and their fathers rebel against me to this same day:

⁶ And you, son of humanity, neither awe them nor awe their words - though thistles and prickles are with you, and you, settle among scorpions: neither awe their words nor dismay at their faces for they are a rebellious house:

⁸ And you, son of humanity, hear what I say to you; Become not rebellious as that rebellious house: gape your mouth and eat what I give you.

⁹ as a brier stronger than flint I give your forehead: neither awe them nor dismay at their faces, though they be a rebellious house.

³ saying, It is not near; build houses: this is the caldron, and we the flesh.

⁷ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Your pierced whom you set in the midst, they are the flesh and this is the caldron: and I bring you forth from the midst thereof:

¹¹ This neither becomes your caldron nor become you for flesh in the midst; I judge you in the border of Yisra El:

² Son of humanity, you settle midst a rebellious house, with eyes to see, and see not; ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house:

²⁵ For I - Yah Veh: I word; and the word I word works; it is no more drawn out: for in your days, O rebellious house, I word the word, and work it - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

² Son of humanity, propound a riddle, and proverbialize a proverb to the house of Yisra El;

¹² Say, I beseech, to the rebellious house, Know you not what these are? Tell, Behold, the sovereign of Babel comes to Yeru Shalem, and takes the sovereign and the governors and leads them with him to Babel:

² and say, What is your mother? A roaring lioness! She crouches among lions, she greatens her whelps among whelps: ³ and she ascends one of her whelps: it becomes a whelp that learns to prey; it devours humanity: ⁴ and the goyim hear of him and apprehend him in their pit of ruin: and with hooks they bring him to the land of Misrayim. ⁵ when she sees, that in waiting, her hope destructs, she takes one of her whelps, and sets him a whelp: ⁶ and he goes up and down among the lions, he becomes a whelp and learns to prey and devours humanity. ⁷ And he knows their abandonments; and he parches their cities; and the land, and the fulness thereof desolates by the voice of his roaring. ⁸ And the goyim give against him from all around the jurisdictions; and spread their net over him: and apprehend him in their pit of ruin: ⁹ and with hooks they give him in a cage, and bring him to the sovereign of Babel: they bring him into the huntholds so that his voice is heard no more on the mountains of Yisra El. ¹⁰ Your mother is as a vine in your blood transplanted by the waters: she bears fruit and branches by reason of many waters: ¹¹ and she has rods of strength for the scions of them who reign; and her height heightens among the foliage, and she is seen in her height with the abundance of her branches: ¹² and she is uprooted in fury - cast down to the earth; and the east wind withers her fruit: her rods of strength break and wither; the fire consumes them: ¹³ and now she is transplanted in the wilderness - in a parched and thirsty earth: ¹⁴ and fire comes from a rod of her branches, which consumes her fruit, so that she has no rod of strength to become a scion to reign. This is a lamentation; and becomes for a lamentation.

⁴⁹ Then I say, Aha, Adonay Yah Veh! they say of me, Proverbializes he not proverbs?

⁶ So, thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Woe to the city of blood - to the caldron whose scum is therein, and whose scum comes not out of it: bring it out member by member; and that no pebble fall thereon.

⁴ In that day, one takes a proverb against you and laments with a lamentation of lamentations and says, In ravaging, we are ravaged: he changes the allotment of my people. How he removes it from me! In restoring, he allots our fields.

ATTEMPTS TO OVERPOWER YAH SHUA
And they seek to overpower him but awe the multitude: for they know he says the parable against them: and they forsake him, and go their way:

¹⁰ And he says, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the sovereigndom of Elohim: but to the rest in parables; that seeing, they see not, and hearing, they comprehend not.
