²⁶ Heard you not in the distant past, that I worked it? Of ancient days, that I formed it? now I bring it to become, for you to waste fortified cities into desolate heaps.

²⁰ But as for you, you fabricated evil against me; but Elohim fabricated it to good, in order to work, as this day, to preserve many people alive.

¹³ Rise, O Yah Veh, anticipate his face; knuckle him under: slip my soul from the wicked by your sword

¹⁰ Surely the fury of humanity spreads hands to you; you gird the survivors of fury;

⁵ Ho, Ashshuri, the scion of my wrath; and the rod in their hand, my rage: ⁶ I send him against a goyim of profaners and against the people of my wrath; I misvah him to take the spoil and to plunder the plunder; and to set them for trampling as the heap of the outways:

¹⁵ Boasts the ax over him who hews therewith? Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber?

THE EXALTMENT OF SPREAD HANDS
O Yah Veh, you my Elohim; I exalt you: I spread hands to your name: for you worked marvels; your counsels of the distant past are trustworthiness and amen. ² For of a city, you set a heap; of a fortified city, a ruin; a citadel of strangers, no city - not built eternally.

⁷ I form the light and create darkness: I work shalom and create evil: I Yah Veh work all these.
