FASTING
Call out with the throat! Spare not! Lift your voice as a shophar and tell my people their rebellion; and the house of Yaaqov their sins. 2 Yet they seek me day by day and delight to know my ways - as a goyim who works justness and forsakes not the judgment of their Elohim: they ask me of the judgments of justness; they take delight in approaching Elohim. 3 Why fast we and you see not? Why humble we our soul and you take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find delight, and exact all your contortions. 4 Behold, you fast for strife and strive and to smite with the fist of wickedness: you fast not as this day, so that your voice is heard on high. 5 Is this such a fast as I chose? A day for humanity to humble his soul? To bow the head as a bulrush and to spread saq and ashes? Call you this a fast - a day of pleasure to Yah Veh? 6 Is not the fast I chose thus: To loose the bands of wickedness? To undo the bundles of the yoke pole? And to send the crushed away liberated? And to tear every yoke pole? 7 Is it not to separate your bread to the famished? To bring the humble outcasts to your house? To cover the naked when you see him? To not conceal yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light splits as the dawn and your health sprouts quickly and your justness comes at your face: the honor of Yah Veh gathers you. 9 Then you call and Yah Veh answers; you cry and he says, Behold - I. If you turn aside the yoke pole from your midst - the spreading of the finger and wording mischief; 10 and if you produce your soul to the famished and satisfy the humbled soul; then your light rises in obscurity and your darkness as the noon; 11 and Yah Veh guides you continually and satisfies your soul in parch and fattens your bones: and you become as a saturated garden and as a spring of water whose waters fail not. 12 And from you they build the original parched areas: and you raise the foundations of generation and generation; and they call you, The waller of the breach! The restorer of paths to settle! 13 If you turn away your foot from the shabbath from working your delight on my holy day; and call the shabbath, a luxury and the holy of Yah Veh, honorable and honor him; neither working your own ways nor finding your own delight nor wording your own words, 14 then you delight yourself in Yah Veh; and I ride you on the bamahs of the earth and feed you the inheritance of Yaaqov your father: for the mouth of Yah Veh has worded.

Ezekiel 3:17-21

17 Son of humanity, I give you, a watcher to the house of Yisra El: so hear the word at my mouth, and enlighten them from me. 18 In my saying to the wicked, In dying, you die; and you neither enlighten him, nor word to enlighten the wicked from the wicked way he lives; the same wicked dies in his perversity; and I seek his blood at your hand: 19 and if you enlighten the wicked and he neither turns from his wickedness nor from his wicked way, he dies in his perversity; and you rescue your soul. 20 And when the just turns from his justness and works wickedness, and I give a stumblingblock at his face, he dies: because you enlighten him not, he dies in his sin; and the justness he worked is not remembered; and I seek his blood at your hand. 21 And if you enlighten the just, that the just sin not, and he sins not, in living, he lives - because he enlightened; and you rescue your soul.

Behold, hearing is better than sacrificing; and hearkening, than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is the sin of divination and stubbornness, mischief and teraphim: because you refuse the word of Yah Veh he also refuses you from being sovereign. 24 And Shaul says to Shemu El, I sinned: for I trespassed the mouth of Yah Veh and your words: because I awed the people and heard their voice: 25 and now, I beseech you, lift my sin and turn back with me to prostrate to Yah Veh.

3 And I give my face to Adonay Elohim, to seek by prayer and supplications; with fasting and saq and ashes. 4 And I pray to Yah Veh my Elohim, and spread my hands, and say, I beseech, O Adonay, great and awesome El, who guards the covenant and mercy to them who love him and to them who guard his misvoth; 5 we sinned and perverted and did wickedly and rebelled - by turning aside from your misvoth and from your judgments: 6 we hearkened not to your servants the prophets, who worded in your name to our sovereigns, our governors and our fathers and to all the people of the land. 7 O Adonay, justness to you; and shame of faces to us, as this day; to the men of Yah Hudah and to the settlers of Yeru Shalem and to all Yisra El, near and far, through all the lands you drove them, because of the treason they treasoned against you. 8 Adonay, shame of face to us - to our sovereigns, to our governors and to our fathers, because we sinned against you. 9 To Adonay our Elohim, mercies and forgivenesses though we rebelled against him; 10 we hearkened not to the voice of Yah Veh our Elohim - to walk in the torah he gave at our face by the hand of his servants the prophets. 11 Yes, all Yisra El trespassed your torah, even by turning aside to not hearken to your voice; so the oath pours on us - the oath inscribed in the torah of Mosheh the servant of Elohim, because we sinned against him. 12 And he raises the words he worded against us and against our judges who judge us, by bringing a great evil on us - as never worked under the whole heavens as he works on Yeru Shalem: 13 as inscribed in the torah of Mosheh, all this evil comes on us: yet we stroke not the face of Yah Veh our Elohim to turn from our perversities and comprehend your truth: 14 and Yah Veh watches on the evil, and brings it on us: for Yah Veh our Elohim is just in all the works he works: for we hearken not to his voice. 15 And now, Adonay our Elohim, who brought your people from the land of Misrayim with a strong hand, and worked yourself a name, as this day; we sin; we do wickedly. 16 Adonay, according to all your justness, I beseech you, turn away your wrath and your fury from your city Yeru Shalem - your holy mountain: because, for our sins and for the perversities of our fathers Yeru Shalem and your people are a reproach to all, all around us: 17 and now, O our Elohim, hear the prayer of your servant and his supplications; and lighten your face on your holies that are desolate for sake of Adonay. 18 O my Elohim, spread your ear and hear; open your eyes and see our desolated; and the city on whom your name is called: for we fell not our supplications at your face because of our our justnesses - but because of your great mercies. 19 Adonay, hear; Adonay, forgive; Adonay, hearken and work; delay not, for your own sake, my Elohim: for your city and your people on whom your name is called.

Nehemiah 4:1-7

1
THE YAH HUDIYM DERIDED
And so be it, Sanballat hears we build the wall and he inflames and abounds his vexation and he derides the Yah Hudiym: 2 and he says at the face of his brothers and the men of valour of Shomeron, and says, What work these languid Yah Hudiym? Forsake they to themselves? Sacrifice they? Finish they in a day? Enliven they the stones from the heaps of the dust that are burnt? 3 And Tobi Yah the Ammoniy is by him, and he says, Whatever they build, if a fox ascends, even he splits their stone wall. 4 Hear, O our Elohim; for we are disrespected: turn their reproach on their own head and give them for plunder in the land of captivity: 5 and neither cover their perversity nor wipe away their sin from your face: for they vex you in front of the builders. 6 And we build the wall; and all the wall is bound to the half thereof: for the people have a heart to work. 7 And so be it, Sanballat and Tobi Yah and the Arabiy and the Ammoniy and the Ashdodiy hear the walls of Yeru Shalem are ascended and the breaches begin to stop; and they inflame mightily;

Nehemiah 6:1

Ezekiel 36:4

4 so, O mountains of Yisra El, hear the word of Adonay Yah Veh; Thus says Adonay Yah Veh to the mountains and to the hills; to the reservoirs and to the valleys; to the desolated parches and to the forsaken cities - to become a plunder and derision to the survivors of the goyim all around;

Ezekiel 36:8-11

8 and you, O mountains of Yisra El, give your branches and bear your fruit to my people of Yisra El; for they approach to come. 9 For, behold, I am for you and I face to you; and serve and seed you: 10 and I abound humanity on you - all the house of Yisra El - all thereof to settle the cities and build the parched areas: 11 and I abound on you humanity and animal; and they abound and bear fruit: and I settle you after your former estates and do better to you than at your beginnings: and you know I - Yah Veh.

Ezekiel 36:33

33 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: In the day I purify you from all your perversities I also settle you in the cities, and build the parched areas:

Exodus 20:8-11

8 Remember the shabbath day, to hallow it: 9 six days you serve and work all your work: 10 but the seventh day is the shabbath of Yah Veh your Elohim: work no work therein; neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your animals, nor your sojourner within your portals: 11 for in six days Yah Veh worked the heavens and earth, the sea and all therein; and rested the seventh day: so Yah Veh blessed the shabbath day and hallowed it.

Exodus 31:13-17

13 Word also to the sons of Yisra El, saying, Only, guard my shabbaths: for it is a sign between me and between you throughout your generations; that you know I - Yah Veh hallow you: 14 guard the shabbath; for it is holy to you: everyone who profanes it, in deathifiying, is deathified: for whoever works any work therein, that soul becomes cut off from among his people. 15 Six days you work your work; the seventh day is the shabbath of shabbathism - holy to Yah Veh: whoever works any work in the shabbath day, in deathifiying, deathify him. 16 And the sons of Yisra El guard the shabbath, to work the shabbath throughout their generations, for an eternal covenant 17 - a sign between me and between the sons of Yisra El eternally: for in six days Yah Veh worked the heavens and earth and on the seventh day he shabbathized and refreshed.

Exodus 36:2-3

2 And Mosheh calls Besal El and Oholi Ab and every wise hearted man, in whose heart Yah Veh gives wisdom - everyone whose heart lifts who approaches to work the work: 3 and at the face of Mosheh they all take the exaltment the sons of Yisra El bring to work the work of the service of the holies: and they still bring him voluntaries morning by morning.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15

12 Guard the shabbath day to hallow it, as Yah Veh your Elohim misvahed you. 13 Six days you serve and work all your work: 14 but the seventh day is the shabbath of Yah Veh your Elohim: never work any work therein, - you, your son, your daughter, your servant, your maid, your ox, your he burro, your animals, your sojourner within your portals; that your servant and your maid rest as well as you. 15 And remember that you were a servant in the land of Misrayim and that Yah Veh your Elohim brought you from there by a strong hand and by a spread arm: so Yah Veh your Elohim misvahs you to guard the shabbath day.

Nehemiah 13:15-22

15 In those days in Yah Hudah I see them treading wine presses on the shabbath - and bringing in heaps and lading he burros and also wine, grapes and figs and all the burdens they bring into Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day: and I witness the day they sell hunt: 16 and the Soriy settle therein bringing fish and all manner of price and sell on the shabbath to the sons of Yah Hudah and in Yeru Shalem. 17 And I contend with the nobles of Yah Hudah and say to them, What evil word is this that you work and profane the shabbath day? 18 Worked not your fathers thus and brought not our Elohim all this evil on us and on this city? And you add fuming on Yisra El by profaning the shabbath. 19 And so be it, the portals of Yeru Shalem begin to overshadow at the face of the shabbath, and I say to shut the gates and say to not open until after the shabbath: and I stand my lads at the portals, that no burden is brought in on the shabbath day. 20 And the merchants and sellers of all sales stay overnight outside Yeru Shalem one time or twice. 21 And I witness against them and say to them, Why stay you overnight opposite the wall? If you repeat, I spread hands on you. - from that time they come not on the shabbath. 22 And I say to the Leviym to purify and to come and guard the portals to hallow the shabbath day. Remember me, O my Elohim, this also; and spare me according to the greatness of your mercy.

2 Blithesome - the man who works this and the son of humanity who lays hold thereon; who guards from profaning the shabbath and guards his hand from working any evil. 3 Neither let the son of the stranger, who joins himself to Yah Veh, say, saying, In separating, Yah Veh separated me from his people: nor let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. 4 For thus says Yah Veh to the eunuchs who guard my shabbaths and choose what delights me and hold my covenant; 5 I give them in my house and within my walls a hand and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I give them an eternal name that is not cut off. 6 And sons of the stranger who join themselves to Yah Veh to minister to him and to love the name of Yah Veh - to be his servants, every one who guards from profaning the shabbath and holds my covenant;

Jeremiah 17:21-27

21 Thus says Yah Veh, Guard your souls; and neither bear a burden on the shabbath day nor bring it in by the portals of Yeru Shalem: 22 neither carry forth a burden from your houses on the shabbath day nor work any work; but hallow the shabbath day as I misvahed your fathers: 23 and they neither hearken nor spread their ear; and harden their neck so that they neither hear nor take discipline. 24 And so be it, in hearkening, if ye hearken to me - an oracle of Yah Veh to bring in no burden through the portals of this city on the shabbath day - and hallow the shabbath day to work no work therein; 25 then there enter the portals of this city sovereigns and governors on the throne of David riding in chariots and on horses - they and their governors - the men of Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem: and they settle this city eternally: 26 and they come from the cities of Yah Hudah and all around Yeru Shalem and from the land of Ben Yamin and from the lowland and from the mountains and from the south - bringing holocausts and sacrifices and offerings and incense; and bringing spread hands to the house of Yah Veh. 27 And if you hearken not to me to hallow the shabbath day, and to not bear a burden, even entering at the portals of Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day; then I kindle a fire in the portals; and it consumes the citadels of Yeru Shalem, and quenches not.
