Hear the word, O house of Yisra El, which Yah Veh words to you: ² thus says Yah Veh, Neither learn the way of the goyim nor dismay at the signs of the heavens; for the goyim dismay at them: ³ for the statutes of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree from the forest - the work of the hands of the engraver with the ax: ⁴ they beautify with silver and with gold; they strengthen with nails and with hammers so that it wiggles not: ⁵ round as the palm tree, but word not: in bearing, they bear, because they pace not. Awe them not, for they vilify not; yes, it is not in them to well-please. ⁶ Because there is no one like you, O Yah Veh; you are great, and your name is great in might. ⁷ Who awes you not, O Sovereign of goyim? For it becomes you: for among all the wise of the goyim, and in all their sovereigndoms, there is no one like you. ⁸ And as one, they are brutish and foolish: the tree is a discipline of vanities. ⁹ They bring expanded silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz - the work of the engraver and of the hands of the refiner: blue and purple is their robe: they are all the work of wise. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh is the Elohim of truth; he is the living Elohim and eternal sovereign: the earth quakes at his rage and the goyim contain not his rage. ¹¹ Thus you say to them, The elah who made not the heavens and the earth destructs from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² He worked the earth by his force; he established the world by his wisdom; and spread the heavens by his discernment. ¹³ He gives his voice; there is a multitude of waters in the heavens: and he ascends the vapours from the ends of the earth: he works lightnings with rain and brings forth the wind from his treasures. ¹⁴ All humanity is brutish in knowledge: every refiner is shamed by the sculptile: for his libation is falsehood and there is no spirit in them: ¹⁵ they are vanity, the work of frauds: in the time of their visitation they destruct. ¹⁶ The allotment of Yaaqov is not like them: for he is the former of all; and Yisra El is the scion of his inheritance: Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name. ¹⁷ Gather up your bundles from the land, O settler of the siege: ¹⁸ for thus says Yah Veh, Behold, I sling out the settlers of the land at one time and tribulate them that they are found out. ¹⁹ Woe to me for my breech; my wound is stricken; and I say, Surely this is a stroke for me to bear. ²⁰ My tent is ravaged and all my cords are torn: my sons are gone from me, and they are not: there is no one to spread my tent any more and to raise my curtains: ²¹ for the tenders are stupid and seek not Yah Veh: so they comprehend not and all their pastures are scattered. ²² The voice of the report! Behold, it comes! Even a great quake from the north land to set the cities of Yah Hudah desolate - a habitation of monsters. ²³ O Yah Veh, I know that the way of humanity is not within humanity: it is not within man who walks to establish his paces. ²⁴ O Yah Veh, correct me; only with judgment; not in your wrath; lest you diminish me. ²⁵ Pour your fury on the goyim who know you not, and on the families who call not on your name: for they consume Yaaqov - consume him and finish him off and desolate his habitation of rest.

¹⁹ And he says, Therefore hear the word of Yah Veh: I see Yah Veh settled on his throne and all the host of the heavens stand by him at his right and at his left.

⁷ Hear, O my people, and I word; O Yisra El, and I witness against you; I - Elohim, your Elohim.

¹⁰ Hear the word of Yah Veh you commanders of Sedom; hearken to the torah of our Elohim you people of Amorah:

¹⁴ So hear the word of Yah Veh, you scornful men who reign over this people in Yeru Shalem:

⁴ You, hear the word of Yah Veh, O house of Yaaqov, and all the families of the house of Yisra El:

THE THREAT OF EXILE
Give honor to Yah Veh your Elohim ere he causes darkness; and ere your feet stub on the evening breeze of the mountains: and while you look for light, he sets it into the shadow of death and places dripping darkness: ¹⁷ and if you hear it not, my soul weeps in coverts at the face of your arrogance; and my eye weeps sore and drips with tears, for the drove of Yah Veh is captured.

² and say, Hear the word of Yah Veh, O sovereign of Yah Hudah, who sits on the throne of David - you and your servants and your people entering by these portals.

¹⁵ and now so, hear the word of Yah Veh - you survivors of Yah Hudah; Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: If in setting, you set your faces to enter Misrayim and go to sojourn there;

THE CONTROVERSY OF YAH VEH
Hear the word of Yah Veh, you sons of Yisra El: because of a controversy of Yah Veh with the settlers of the land; because there is neither truth nor mercy nor knowledge of Elohim in the land:

¹⁶ And now, hear the word of Yah Veh: You say, Neither prophesy against Yisra El nor drip against the house of Yischaq.

¹³ For this cause also we eucharistize Elohim unceasingly, because, when you took the word of Elohim which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of humanity but exactly as it truly is, the word of Elohim; which also energizes in you who trust.

²⁹ Whoever has an ear, hear what the Spirit words to the ecclesiae.

³ Neither work after the works of the land of Misrayim, wherein you settled; nor work after the works of the land of Kenaan, where I bring you; nor walk in their statutes.

²³ And walk not in the statutes of the goyim, whom I cast out from your face: for they work all these and so I abhor them.

³⁰ guard yourself lest you become snared by following them, after being desolated from your face; and that you enquire not after their elohim, saying, How served these goyim their Elohim? Work I thus likewise? ³¹ Work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim: for every abhorrence Yah Veh hates, they worked to their elohim; even burning their sons and their daughters in the fire to their elohim.

¹² Stand, I beseech, with your charms and with the abundance of your sorceries wherein you labored from your youth; if perhaps you benefit; if perhaps you terrify. ¹³ You weary in the abundance of your counsels. I beseech you, have the horoscopists of the heavens, the seers of stars, the knowers of months stand up and save you from these that come on you. ¹⁴ Behold, they are as stubble; the fire burns them; they rescue not their souls from the hand of the flame: there is neither coal to heat, nor flame to sit in front of.

³² And that which ascends into your spirit, saying, We become as the goyim - as the families of the lands to minister timber and stone surely becomes not.

²⁵ And signs become in the sun and in the moon and in the stars: and upon the earth, oppression by goyim with perplexity, the sea surging and echoing, ²⁶ humanity breathing cold for awe, and awaiting those coming on the world: for the dynamis of the heavens become shaken. ^{Isaiah 13:9-13 27}

And then they see the Son of humanity coming in a cloud with dynamis and vast glory. ²⁸ And when these begin to become, then unbend and lift your heads; for your redemption draws near.

³⁰ So guard my guard, that you work none of these abhorrent statutes, which are worked at your face and that you not foul yourselves therein: I - Yah Veh your Elohim.

Hear you not? Were you not told from the beginning? Discerned you not from the foundations of the earth? ²² It is he who settles on the circle of the earth, and the settlers are as locusts who spread the heavens as a veil, - spreads them as a tent to settle in: ²³ who gives the potentates to naught; who works the judges of the earth as waste. ²⁴ Yes, they are not planted; yes, they are not seeded: yes, their stump roots not in the earth: and he also puffs on them, and they wither, and the storm bears them away as stubble. ²⁵ To whom then liken you me, or equate? says the Holy One. ²⁶ Lift your eyes on high, and see who created these; who brings out their host by number: - calls them all by names by the greatness of his strength - for he is strong in force; no man lacks. ²⁷ Why, O Yaaqov, say you, and, O Yisra El, word you, My way is hid from Yah Veh; and from my Elohim my judgment passes over? ²⁸ Know you not? Hear you not? that the eternal Elohim, Yah Veh, the Creator of the ends of the earth neither wearies nor belabors? There is no probing of his discernment. ²⁹ He gives strength to the weary; and to them of no strength, he abounds might. ³⁰ Even the lads weary and belabor, and in faltering, the youths falter: ³¹ but they who await Yah Veh, change their force; they ascend with pinions as eagles; they run, and belabor not; and they walk, and weary not.

⁹ They who form a sculptile all of them are a waste; and their desires benefit not: and they are their own witnesses; they neither see, nor know to shame. ¹⁰ Who ever formed an el or poured a sculptile that is not beneficial? ¹¹ Behold, all his companions shame: and the engravers are of humanity: they all gather; together they stand: they fear; together they shame. ¹² The engraver of iron works with the ax in the coals and forms with hammers and makes with the force of his arms: yes, he famishes and his force is not: he drinks no water and wearies. ¹³ The engraver of timber spreads his line; he surveys with a stylus; he works with planes: and he surveys with the compass and works after the pattern of a man according to the adornment of humanity; that it settle in the house: ¹⁴ he cuts down cedars; and takes the cypress and the oak which he strengthens for himself among the trees of the forest: he plants an ash, and the downpour nourishes: ¹⁵ and it becomes for humanity to burn: for he takes and heats; yes, he kindles and bakes bread: yes, he works an el and prostrates; he makes a sculptile, and prostrates thereto: ¹⁶ he burns half in the fire; with half he eats flesh; he roasts a roast, and satiates: yes, he heats, and says, Aha, I heat up; I see the flame: ¹⁷ and of what survives, he works an el - his sculptile: he prostrates thereto - prostrates and prays thereto, and says, Rescue me; for you are my el. ¹⁸ They neither know nor discern: for he daubs their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from comprehending: ¹⁹ and no one turns to his heart; there is neither knowledge nor discernment to say, I burn half in the fire; yes, also I bake bread on the coals; I roast flesh and eat: and I work the remnant an abhorrence: I prostrate to the product of a tree. ²⁰ He grazes on ashes: a mocked heart perverts him that he neither rescues his soul, nor says, Is there not a falsehood in my right?

²⁰ Gather and come; draw near together, you escapees of the goyim: they who bear the timber of their sculptile, know not, and pray to an el who saves not.

⁵ thus says Yah Veh, What wickedness found your fathers in me, that they removed afar from me and walked after vanity and became vain?

⁸ And as one, they are brutish and foolish: the tree is a discipline of vanities.

¹⁸ What profit is the sculptile to the former who sculpts - or the molten, to a teacher of falsehoods, Confides the former of its form to work mute idols? ¹⁹ Ho to him who says to the timber, Waken! - to the silent stone, Waken! ⁵ mouths have they, but they word not; eyes have they, but they see not; ⁶ ears have they, but they hear not; nostrils have they, but they scent not; ⁷ hands have they, but they touch not; feet have they, but they walk not; they mutter not through their throat. ⁸ They who work them are like them; thus is every one who confides in them.

THE IDOLS OF BABEL
Bel kneels; Nebo stoops; their idols are for the live beings and for the animals: your loads are heavily loaded - a burden to the languid.

³² And now, our Elohim El - the great, the mighty and the awesome - who guards covenant and mercy, diminish not from your face all the travail that found us - on our sovereigns, on our governors and on our priests and on our prophets and on our fathers and on all your people since the day of the sovereigns of Ashshur to this day.

¹⁰ All my bones say, O Yah Veh, who is likened to you, who rescues the humble from him who is stronger than he? - yes, the humble and the needy from him who strips him?

⁶ Resound and shout, you settlers of Siyon: for great is the Holy One of Yisra El in your midst.

¹⁸ To whom then liken you El? Or what likeness line you up to him?

²² Awe you not me? - an oracle of Yah Veh: Writhe you not at my face - who set the sand for the border of the sea by an eternal statute, that it not pass? And though the waves agitate, yet they prevail not? And though they roar, yet they pass not over it?

⁶ Because there is no one like you, O Yah Veh; you are great, and your name is great in might.

¹¹ And many goyim join Yah Veh in that day, and become my people: and I dwell midst you; and you know that Yah Veh Sabaoth sent me to you:

And the seventh angel trumps; and mega voices become in the heavens, wording, The sovereigndoms of this cosmos are become to Yah Veh and his the Messiah; and he reigns to the eons of the eons.

⁴ Who never no way awes you, O Yah Veh, and glorifies your name? Because you only are merciful; because all goyim come and worship in your sight; because your judgments are manifested.

⁸ They who work them are like them; thus is every one who confides in them.

²⁹ Behold, they are all mischief; their works cease: their libations are wind and waste.

⁶ Who shakes the earth from her place and the pillars thereof tremble?

And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go. ² And so be it, if they say to you, Where go we? you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity:

¹³ and I cast you from this land into a land that you know not - you or your fathers; and there you serve other elohim day and night; where I give you no charism.

²⁰ The wrath of Yah Veh turns not back until he works and until he raises the intrigue of his heart: in the latter days you discern with discernment.
