THE SURVIVORS RESTORED

³ Yisra El is holiness to Yah Veh and the firstlings of his produce: all who devour him guilt; evil comes on them, says Yah Veh.

Concerning Edom, thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Is wisdom no more in Teman? Is counsel destroyed from the discerning? Is their wisdom spread thin?

And so be the word of Yah Veh to me, saying, ² Son of humanity, set your face against the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them: ³ and say to the sons of Ammon, Hear the word of Adonay Yah Veh; Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because you say, Aha! against my holies, when it profanes; and against the soil of Yisra El, when it desolates; and against the house of Yah Hudah, when they go into exile; ⁴ behold, so I give you to the sons of the east for a possession; and they set their walls in you and give their tabernacles in you: they eat your fruit and they drink your milk: ⁵ and I give Rabbah as a habitation of rest for camels and the sons of Ammon as a place of rest for flocks: and you know I - Yah Veh. ⁶ For thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because you clap the hand, and stamp the foot, and cheer in soul with all your despite against the soil of Yisra El; ⁷ behold, so I spread my hand on you and give you for plunder to the goyim; and I cut you off from the people, and I destroy you from the countries: I desolate you; and you know I - Yah Veh. ⁸

Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because of the saying of Moab and Seir, Behold, Yah Hudah is as all the goyim; ⁹ so, behold, I open the shoulder of Moab from the cities - from his cities on his edges, the splendor of the country - Beth Ha Yeshimoth, Baal Meon and Qiryathaim; ¹⁰ to the sons of the east with the sons of Ammon; and give them in possession: so that the sons of Ammon are not remembered among the goyim: ¹¹ and I work judgments on Moab; and they know I - Yah Veh. ¹²

²⁴ For I take you from among the goyim and gather you from all lands and bring you into your own soil:

Surely Moab is as Sedom and the sons of Ammon as Amorah - the possession of nettles and saltpits - an eternal desolation: the survivors of my people plunder them and the remnant of my goyim inherit them. ¹⁰ This is for their pomp, because they reproach and greaten against the people of Yah Veh Sabaoth.

¹⁹ Behold, at that time, I work all who humble you: and I save her who limps, and gather her who was expelled; and I set them for a halal and a name in every land of their shame. ²⁰ At that time, I bring you, even in the time I gather you: for I give you a name and a halal among all people of the earth, when I restore your captivity in front of your eyes, says Yah Veh.
