⁸ Their widows are mighty to me above the sand of the seas: I bring on them - against the mother of the youths a ravager at noon: I fell her suddenly with terrors and anguish:

⁴ for thus says Yah Veh, Behold, I give you a terror to yourself and to all your loved ones: and they fall by the sword of their enemies and your eyes see it: and I give all Yah Hudah into the hand of the sovereign of Babel; and he exiles them into Babel and smites them with the sword:

¹⁰ And you, O son of humanity, say to the house of Yisra El; say thus, saying, Surely our rebellions and our sins are on us, and we vanish in them: how then live we?

¹² And this is the plague wherewith Yah Veh smites all the people who host against Yeru Shalem: their flesh dissolves as they stand on their feet; and their eyes dissolve in their holes; and their tongue dissolve in their mouth.
