² Misvah the sons of Yisra El, and say to them, When you come to the land of Kenaan; - this is the land that falls to you by inheritance - the land of Kenaan with the borders thereof:

COVENANT OF CIRCUMCISION

⁵¹ Word to the sons of Yisra El, and say to them, When you pass over Yarden into the land of Kenaan, ⁵² dispossess them who settle the land from your face; and destroy all their imageries and desolate all their molten images and desolate all their bamahs: ⁵³ and dispossess the land, and settle therein: for I give you the land to possess:
