And Noomiy her mother in law says to her, My daughter, seek I not rest for you, to well-please you? ² And now, is not Boaz of our kin, with whose lasses you were? Behold, he winnows barley in the threshingfloor tonight. ³ And you, baptise and anoint yourself and set your clothes upon you and descend to the threshingfloor; and that the man not know you until he finishes eating and drinking: ⁴ and so be it, when he lies down, that you know the place where he lies; and you go in and expose his feet and lie down; and he tells you what to work. ⁵ And she says to her, I work all you say to me. ⁶ - and she descends to the threshingfloor and works according to all her mother in law misvahs her. ⁷ And Boaz eats and drinks and well-pleases his heart, and he goes and lies down at the end of the heaps; and she comes undercover and exposes his feet and lies down. ⁸ And so be it, at midnight, the man trembles and clasps; and behold, a woman lies at his feet: ⁹ and he says, Who are you? And she says, I am Ruth your maid; you have spread your wing over your maid; for you are a redeemer. ¹⁰ And he says, Blessed - you of Yah Veh, my daughter; for you well-please more mercy in the latter end than at the beginning by not going after youths whether poor or rich. ¹¹ And now, my daughter, awe not; I work to you all that you say; for all the portal of my people know you are a virtuous woman. ¹² And now truly I am a redeemer; however there is a redeemer nearer than I. ¹³ Stay overnight; and so be it, in the morning, if he redeems you, good; he redeems you; but if he delights not to redeem you, then as Yah Veh lives, I redeem you; lie down until the morning. ¹⁴ - and she lies at his feet until the morning; and she rises ere man recognizes friend. And he says, Let it not be known that a woman came into the threshingfloor. ¹⁵ And he says, Give the cloak upon you, and hold it. - and she holds it, and he measures six barley and places it on her; and she goes to the city. ¹⁶ And she comes to her mother in law, and she says, Who are you, my daughter? - and she tells her all the man worked to her. ¹⁷ And she says, He gave me these six barley; for he says to me, Go not empty to your mother in law. ¹⁸ Then she says, Settle, my daughter, until you know how the word falls; for the man rests not until he finishes the word this day.

¹⁴ But remember me when you are well-pleased; and work mercy, I beseech you, to me and remember me to Paroh and bring me from this house:

⁴⁰ And guard his statutes and his misvoth, which I misvah you this day, that it well-please you and your sons after you and that you prolong your days on the soil, which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you for all days.

⁹ Yah Veh give you to find rest, each woman in the house of her man. - and she kisses them. And they lift their voice and weep

² for you eat the labor of your palms; blithed - and good with you

⁸ And if anyone provides not for his own and specially for those of his own house, he denies the trust and is worse than the trustless.

¹⁴ So I will that the younger marry, birth children, be housedespotes; giving no opportunity to cause the adversary to speak abusively.

THE TORAH ON THE LEVIRATE When brothers settle together and one of them dies, having no son, the woman of him who died marries not an outsider man - a stranger: her levirate goes in to her and takes her to him to woman and becomes her levirate: ⁶ and so be it, the firstbirth she births becomes raised in the name of his brother who died, that his name becomes not wiped out from Yisra El. ⁷ And if the man delights not to become a levirate, then let her of the levirate ascend to the portal, to the elders, and say, My levirate refuses to raise a name to his brother in Yisra El, he wills to not become my levirate. ⁸ And the elders of his city call him and word to him: and if he stands to it and says, I delight not to take her! ⁹ - then the woman of the levirate comes to him in the eyes of the elders and strips his shoe from his foot and spits in his face and answers, and says, So be it worked to the man who builds not the house of his brother! ¹⁰ - and in Yisra El, his name becomes called, The house of him whose shoe is loosed.

RUTH AND BOAZ
And Noomiy has a kin of her man; a mighty man of valuables of the family of Eli Melech; and his name, Boaz.

⁸ And Boaz says to Ruth, Hear you not, my daughter? Neither go to glean in another field, nor pass from here; but adhere here by my lasses;

²⁰ And Noomiy says to her daughter in law, Blessed - he of Yah Veh who forsakes not his mercy to the living and to the dead. And Noomiy says to her, The man is near to us - of our redeemers. ²¹ And Ruth the Moabiyth says, He says to me also, Stick by my lads until they finish all my harvest. ²² And Noomiy says to Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, to go with his lasses, so that they not meet you in any other field. ²³ - and she sticks by the lasses of Boaz to glean the finish of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and settles with her mother in law.

¹⁹ Work the bread for laughter and wine to cheer the life; and silver answers for all.

³¹ So, whether you eat whether you drink whether whatever you do - do all to the glory of Elohim.

¹⁸ And be not intoxicated with wine wherein is dissipation; but be filled full/shalamed in Spirit;

¹⁰ And she falls on her face and prostrates herself to the earth and says to him, Why find I charism in your eyes, that you recognize me - and I, a stranger? ¹¹ And Boaz answers and says to her, In being told, I am told, of all you worked to your mother in law after the death of your man; and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your nativity and come to a people you knew not three yesters ago. ¹² May Yah Veh shalam your deed and a complete hire be given you of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, under whose wings you come to seek refuge. ¹³ And she says, May I find charism in your eyes, my adoni; for sighing over me and for wording to the heart of your maid though I - I am not as one of your maids.

²⁰ And Noomiy says to her daughter in law, Blessed - he of Yah Veh who forsakes not his mercy to the living and to the dead. And Noomiy says to her, The man is near to us - of our redeemers.

¹² And now truly I am a redeemer; however there is a redeemer nearer than I.

⁴¹ And she rises and prostrates herself on her nostrils to the earth and says, Behold, your maid - a maid to bathe the feet of the servants of my adoni.

⁸ And I pass you by and see you; behold, your time is a time of loves: and I spread my wing over you and cover your nakedness: yes, I oath to you and enter a covenant with you - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh and you become mine:

¹¹ For whoever exalts himself is humbled; and whoever humbles himself is exalted.

⁸ And Noomiy says to her two daughters in law, Go, each woman, return to the house of your mother; Yah Veh work mercy with you, as you worked with the dead and with me.

⁴ And, behold, Boaz comes from Beth Lechem and says to the harvesters, Yah Veh be with you. And they say to him, Yah Veh bless you.

⁴ Love is patient and is kind, love is never jealous, love never brags, never puffs, ⁵ never misbehaves, never self-seeking, never easily agitated, never reckons evil,

⁴ A virtuous woman is a crown to her master; and she who shames as rottenness in his bones.

¹⁰ Who finds a virtuous woman? yes, her price is far above pearls;

²⁹ many daughters work virtuously, you ascend them all. ³⁰ Charism is false and beauty is vain; Halal the woman who awes Yah Veh! ³¹ Give her of the fruit of her hands. Her own works halal her in the portals!

And Boaz ascends to the portal and settles there; and behold, the redeemer of whom Boaz worded passes by; to whom he says, Ho, such a one! Turn aside! Settle here! - and he turns aside and settles.

So all - as much as ever you will that humanity does to you, you do even thus to them: for this is the torah and the prophets.

³ Confide in Yah Veh and work good; thus you tabernacle in the land and tend to trustworthiness. ⁴ And delight yourself in Yah Veh and he gives you the requests of your heart. ⁵ Roll your way to Yah Veh; confide in him; and he works

¹⁶ So Adonay Yah Veh says thus, Behold, I lay a stone in Siyon for a foundation - a proofed stone; an esteemed corner; a founded foundation: he who trusts, hastens not.

⁷ Yes, the Misrayim are vanity and help in vain: so concerning this, I call out, Their pride is to shabbathize!
