2 Corinthians 6 Cross References - EJ2000

1 ¶ We then, as workers together with him, exhort you also that ye have not received the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in an acceptable time, and in the day of saving health I have succoured thee; behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of saving health.) 3 Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry not be blamed, 4 But in all things showing ourselves as the ministers of God in much patience, in tribulations, in necessities, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings, 6 in chastity, in knowledge, in meekness, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned charity, 7 in the word of truth, in the power of God through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 through honour and dishonour, through evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet as men of the truth; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, but, behold, we live; as chastened, but not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 11 ¶ O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. 13 Now for a recompense in the same (I speak as unto my children), be ye also enlarged. 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what communion does light have with darkness? 15 And what concord does Christ have with Belial? or what part do the faithful have with the unfaithful? 16 And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will receive you 18 and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

20 But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I would not that ye should be participants of demons. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; ye cannot be participants of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

1 Corinthians 10:21-21

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; ye cannot be participants of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

1 Corinthians 10:23-24

23 ¶ All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but all things do not edify. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but that of the other.

1 Corinthians 10:32-33

32 Be without offense, neither to the Jews nor to the Gentiles nor to the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God; 33 even as I please everyone in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

1 Corinthians 11:32

32 But being judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

1 Corinthians 13:4

4 ¶ Charity suffers long and is benign; charity envies not; charity does nothing without due reason, is not puffed up,

1 Corinthians 15:10

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace towards me was not in vain, for I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

1 Corinthians 15:31

31 I die daily to stay in the glory of having taught you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:33

33 Be not deceived: evil companions corrupt good character.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10

8 Because, brothers, we would not have you ignore our tribulation which was done unto us in Asia, that we were burdened beyond our strength, in such a manner that we despaired even of life: 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; 10 who delivered us from so great a death and does deliver; in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

2 Corinthians 1:12

12 ¶ For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world and more abundantly towards you.

2 Corinthians 1:18-20

18 But God is faithful that our word toward you has not been yes and no. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, has not been yes and no, but in him was yes. 20 For all the promises of God are yes in him, and in him Amen, by us for the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 2:4

4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know how much more charity I have towards you.

2 Corinthians 2:17

17 For we are not as many, false merchandisers of the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:3

3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

2 Corinthians 3:6

6 ¶ who also has made us able ministers of the new testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2 Corinthians 4:2

2 but remove from ourselves every hidden shameful thing, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but in the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

2 Corinthians 4:6

6 For the God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to bring forth the light of the knowledge of the clarity of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels that the excellency of the virtue may be of God, and not of us. 8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are unsure of our lives, but not in despair;

2 Corinthians 4:10-11

10 always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:15

15 For we suffer all these things for your sakes that the grace abounding through many may in the thanksgiving redound to the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 4:17

17 For our tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepares an exceeding and eternal weight of glory unto us;

2 Corinthians 5:11

11 Therefore being certain of that terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

2 Corinthians 5:18-20

18 And all this by God, who reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 for certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and having placed in us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did exhort you by us; we beseech you in Christ’s name, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 7:1

1 ¶ Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. 3 I speak this not to condemn you, for I have said before that ye are in our hearts to die and live together with us.

2 Corinthians 7:3-4

3 I speak this not to condemn you, for I have said before that ye are in our hearts to die and live together with us. 4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you; I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

2 Corinthians 7:4-4

4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you; I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. 5 ¶ For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 6 Nevertheless God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 and not by his coming only, but by the consolation with which he was comforted in you when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me so that I rejoiced the more. 8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent; for I perceive that the same epistle has made you sorry, though it were but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance; for ye were made sorry by God that ye might suffer no loss by us. 10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, of which there is no need to repented; but the sorrow of the world works death. 11 For behold this same thing, that when ye were made sorry by God, what carefulness it wrought in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things ye have shown yourselves to be clean in this matter.

2 Corinthians 7:14

14 For if I have gloried of anything to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our glorying, which I made before Titus, was found true.

2 Corinthians 8:1-2

1 ¶ Likewise, brethren, we make known unto you the grace of God bestowed on the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of Macedonia, 2 how that in a great trial of tribulation the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

2 Corinthians 8:9

9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor that ye through his poverty might be enriched.

2 Corinthians 8:20

20 avoiding that anyone should blame us regarding this abundance which is ministered by us,

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 ¶ Now I, Paul, myself beseech you by the meekness and clemency of the Christ (who in presence am low among you, but being absent am bold toward you)

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the destruction of strong holds), 5 casting down reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and leading captive every thought into the obedience of the Christ

2 Corinthians 11:4

4 Therefore if anyone comes preaching another Jesus whom we have not preached or if ye receive another spirit from that which ye have received or another gospel from that which ye have accepted, ye bear well with it.

2 Corinthians 11:6

6 But though I am rude in speech, yet not in knowledge, but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.

2 Corinthians 11:9

9 And when I was present with you and had need, I was not a burden to any of you, for that which was lacking to me was supplied by the brethren which came from Macedonia; and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

2 Corinthians 11:11

11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows.

2 Corinthians 11:23

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more, in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often.

2 Corinthians 11:23-25

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more, in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often. 24 Of the Jews five times I received forty stripes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned; three times I suffered shipwreck, night and day I have been in the deep;

2 Corinthians 11:27

27 in labour and travail, in many watches, in hunger and thirst, in many fasts, in cold and nakedness.

2 Corinthians 12:10

10 Therefore I am content in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake, for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 Corinthians 12:12

12 Truly the signs of the apostle were worked out among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and power.

2 Corinthians 12:15

15 And I will very gladly spend and be utterly spent for your souls though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

2 Corinthians 13:4

4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. By which we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God in you.

Galatians 1:22-24

22 and was unknown by face unto the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of Judaea which were in Christ, 23 but they had only heard, That he who persecuted us in time past now preaches the faith which he once destroyed. 24 And they glorified God in me.

Galatians 2:21

21 I do not reject the grace of God, for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 3:1

1 ¶ O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you that ye should not trust in the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Did ye receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the obedient ear of faith?

Galatians 3:4

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He therefore that gives unto you the Spirit and does works of power among you, does he do it by the works of the law or by the obedient ear of faith?

Galatians 3:26

26 For ye are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 4:5-7

5 to redeem those that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father; 7 therefore, thou art no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:11-12

11 I am afraid for you, lest I have bestowed labour upon you in vain. 12 ¶ Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are; ye have not injured me at all.

Galatians 4:12

12 ¶ Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are; ye have not injured me at all.

19 ¶ My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ is formed in you,

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith,

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Ephesians 4:2

2 ¶ with all humility and meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another in love,

Ephesians 4:17-20

17 ¶ This I say, therefore, and require in the Lord that from now on ye not walk as the other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their own senses, 18 having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart, 19 who, after losing all sense of feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned of the Christ, 21 if so be that ye have heard him and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus,

Ephesians 4:32

32 and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God has forgiven you in Christ.

Ephesians 5:6-14

6 Let no one deceive you with vain words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Be not ye, therefore, partakers with them. 8 For in another time ye were darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk as children of light; 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10 approving what is well pleasing unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which they do in secret. 13 But all these things when they are reproved by the light are made manifest, for the light is that which manifests everything. 14 Therefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead, and the Christ shall shine upon thee.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice.

Philippians 4:11-12

11 Not that I speak in respect of want, for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know both how to be humbled, and I know how to have an abundance; in everything and by all things I am instructed, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Philippians 4:15

15 Now ye Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel when I departed from Macedonia, no congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

5 for the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which ye have already heard by the word of the truth of the gospel,

9 ¶ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, asking that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, 10 that ye might walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing him in everything, being fruitful in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God, 11 strengthened with all might, according to the power of his glory unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness,

5 For our gospel did not come unto you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and in full assurance as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. 6 ¶ And ye were made imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word with much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

1 Thessalonians 1:6

6 ¶ And ye were made imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word with much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

1 Thessalonians 2:3-11

3 For our exhortation was not of error nor of uncleanness nor in guile, 4 but because we have been approved of God that he might entrust us with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts. 5 For we were never flatterers in the word, as ye know, nor tainted with covetousness, God is witness, 6 nor did we seek glory of men neither of you nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome unto you as the apostles of Christ. 7 ¶ But we were gentle among you, as a mother feeding and caring for her children, 8 loving you so much, that we were willing to give unto you, not only the gospel of God, but even our own souls, because ye are dear unto us. 9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail, for labouring night and day, not to be a burden unto any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:9

9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail, for labouring night and day, not to be a burden unto any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God. 10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, of how holy and just and irreprehensible our behaviour was among you that believe,

1 Thessalonians 2:10

10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, of how holy and just and irreprehensible our behaviour was among you that believe, 11 as ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father with his children,

1 Thessalonians 3:7-10

1 Thessalonians 5:4-8

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should take you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 ¶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those that sleep in the night, and those that are drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and charity, and for a helmet, the hope of saving health.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-8

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and charity, and for a helmet, the hope of saving health.

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore that desires to be a friend of the world, makes himself the enemy of God.

James 5:7-10

7 Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient and confirm your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draws near. 9 Complain not one against another, brethren, that ye not be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door. 10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

1 Peter 1:6-8

6 ¶ In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are afflicted in diverse temptations, 7 that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold (which perishes, nevertheless it is tried with fire), might be found unto praise and glory and honour when Jesus, the Christ, is made manifest; 8 whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though at present ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory;

1 Peter 1:12

12 Unto whom it was revealed that not unto themselves, but unto us they did administer the things, which are now announced unto you by those that have preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven, which things the angels desire to look into.

1 Peter 1:22

22 Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth, by the Spirit, in unfeigned brotherly love, love one another with a pure heart fervently,

1 Peter 2:5

5 ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, well pleasing to God by Jesus, the Christ.

1 Peter 2:9-10

9 But ye are the chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, an acquired people, that ye should show forth the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 10 Ye who in the time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, who in the time past had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 4:2-4

2 so that now the time that remains in the flesh, he might live, not unto the lusts of men, but unto the will of God. 3 For it should suffice us that during the time past of our life we had done the will of the Gentiles, when we conversed in lasciviousness, lusts, drunkenness, gluttony, orgies, and abominable idolatries. 4 ¶ And it seems strange to those that speak evil of you, that ye do not run with them to the same unchecked dissolution;

1 Peter 4:10

10 Let each one according to the gift that he has received, administer it unto the others, as a good steward of the diverse graces of God.

1 Peter 4:13

13 but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of the afflictions of the Christ, so that also in the revelation of his glory, ye may rejoice in triumph. 14 If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; for the glory and the Spirit of God rests upon you; certainly on their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

1 John 1:5-7

5 ¶ This then is the promise which we have heard of him and declare unto you, That God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth; 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have communion with him in the midst of us, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:1

1 ¶ My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye sin not; and if anyone has sinned, we have an Advocate before the Father, Jesus, the righteous Christ;

1 John 2:12-14

12 ¶ I write unto you, little children, that your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. 13 I write unto you, fathers, that ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, that ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, that ye have known the Father. 14 I have written unto you, fathers, that ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, that ye are strong and the word of God abides in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

1 John 3:1-2

1 ¶ Behold, what charity the Father has given us, that we should be called the sons of God; therefore the world does not know us, because it does not know him. 2 Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be; but we know that if he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:7

7 Little children, let no one deceive you; he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he also is righteous.

1 John 3:12-14

12 Not as Cain, who was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. 13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 ¶ We know that we are passed from death unto life, in that we love the brethren. He that does not love his brother abides in death.

1 John 3:17

17 But whosoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother have need and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how does the charity of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

1 John 4:12

12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his charity is completed in us.

1 John 4:15

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

1 John 5:11-13

11 And this is the witness, that God has given eternal life to us, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that has the Son has life; and he that does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God. 14 ¶ And this is the confidence that we have in God, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have the petitions that we asked of him.

1 John 5:20-21

20 But we know that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Revelation 3:9

9 Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie; behold, I will constrain them to come and worship before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the entire world, to try those that dwell upon the earth.
