² Let Israel rejoice with his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful with their King.

⁶ For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God; the LORD thy God has chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, different from all the peoples that are upon the face of the earth. ⁷ Not because ye were more than the other peoples has the LORD desired you and chosen you; for ye were the fewest of all the peoples;

⁷ and there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye and your households shall rejoice in every work of your hands in which the LORD thy God has blessed thee.

²² For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.

¹⁰ But no one shall say, Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night;

⁶ Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

¹ A Psalm of praise. ¶ Make a joyful noise unto the LORD all the earth. ² Serve the LORD with gladness; come before his presence with joy. ³ Know ye that the LORD he is God; it is he that has made us and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

³ praise JAH; for the LORD is good; sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant. ⁴ For JAH has chosen Jacob unto himself and Israel for his own possession.

⁷ ¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes saving health, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigns!

⁵ For thy Maker shall be thine husband; the LORD of the hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

¹¹ Behold, the LORD has caused it to be heard unto the end of the earth; Say unto the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Saviour comes; behold that his reward is with him, and his work before him. ¹² And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

²³ Ye also, sons of Zion, be glad and rejoice in the LORD your God for he has given you the former rain according to righteousness, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain as in the beginning.

⁹ ¶ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout with joy, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy King shall come unto thee: just, and a saviour; humble, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

⁵ Say unto the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King comes unto thee, meek and sitting upon an ass and a colt the foal of a beast under yoke.

³⁴ Then shall the King say unto those on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

²⁷ Moreover, those enemies of mine, who were unwilling that I should reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.

³⁸ saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

¹⁵ But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate said unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The high priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

¹⁹ ¶ And Pilate also wrote a title and put it above the cross {Gr. stauros – stake}. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. ²⁰ And many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near to the city; and it was written in Hebrew and Greek and Latin. ²¹ Then the high priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews, but that he said, I AM King of the Jews. ²² Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

³ For we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit and glory in Christ Jesus, having no confidence in the flesh.

⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a great company and as the voice of many waters and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Halelu-JAH; for the Lord God almighty reigns.
