¹ A Psalm of David. ¶ The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. ² He makes me to lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside the still waters. ³ He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. ⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff shall comfort me. ⁵ Thou shalt prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup is running over. ⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will rest in the house of the LORD for ever.

⁹ Teth O fear the LORD, ye his saints; for those that fear him lack nothing. ¹⁰ Jod The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

⁵² But made his own people to go forth like sheep and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

¹³ So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: from generation to generation we will sing thy praises.

¹¹ For the LORD God is a sun and shield unto us; the LORD will give grace and glory; he will not withhold good from those that walk uprightly.

¹¹ He shall feed his flock like a shepherd; he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom and shall gently lead those that are with young.

³ And I will gather the remnant of my sheep out of all the lands where I have driven them and will cause them to return to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. ⁴ And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them; and they shall fear no more nor be dismayed neither shall they be lacking, said the LORD.

¹⁰ ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, O ye Gentiles, and cause it to be known in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

¹¹ For thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, I, even I, will both search and recognize my sheep. ¹² As the shepherd recognizes his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered, so will I recognize my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

²³ And I will raise up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my slave David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. ²⁴ And I the LORD will be their God, and my slave David prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

² But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be Lord in Israel; and his goings forth are from the beginning, from the days of the ages.

⁴ And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide; for now he shall be great unto the ends of the earth.

³³ But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

³⁰ For all these things do the Gentiles of the world seek after, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things. ³¹ But rather seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. ³² Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

¹¹ I AM the good shepherd; the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

¹⁴ I AM the good shepherd, and know my sheep and am known of mine.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; ²⁸ and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. ³⁰ I and my Father are one.

³² He that did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also give us all things with him?

¹⁹ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

⁵ Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have; for he has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. ⁶ So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal testament,

²⁵ For ye were as sheep that had gone astray, but are now converted unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

⁴ And when the great Prince of the pastors shall appear, ye shall receive the incorruptible crown of glory.

¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall govern them and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

²⁹ When he gives rest, who then can make trouble? If he hides his face, who then can behold him? This applies to a nation and the same to a man,

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the tents of the most High.

⁶ Forasmuch as this people refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly and rejoiced in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,

²³ Then he shall give the rain unto thy planting when thou shalt sow the ground; and bread of the fruit of the earth, and it shall be fat and fertile: in that day thy cattle shall feed in large pastures.

⁹ that thou may say to the prisoners, Go forth; and unto those that are in darkness, Show yourselves. Upon the ways shall they be fed, and upon all the high places shall be their pastures. ¹⁰ They shall never hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water he shall feed them.

¹³ And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and will bring them to their own land and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers and in all the habitations of the country. ¹⁴ I will feed them in good pastures and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be; there they shall sleep in a good fold, and in fat pastures they shall be fed upon the mountains of Israel.

⁶ And he said unto me, It is done. I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.

¹ ¶ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come; and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely.

³⁰ to turn back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

⁷ ¶ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

³ For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake thou shalt lead me and guide me.

³ Gimel O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore unto me the joy of thy saving health, and thy spirit of liberty shall uphold me.

⁹ Help us, O God, our saving health, for the honor of thy name and deliver us and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.

⁴ Turn us, O God our saving health and cause thine anger toward us to cease. ⁵ Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou extend thine anger from generation to generation? ⁶ Wilt thou not give us life again that thy people may rejoice in thee? ⁷ Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy saving health.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him and shall set his steps in the way.

¹⁷⁶ ¶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy slave; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.

⁸ Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning, for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee. ⁹ Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I flee unto thee. ¹⁰ Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Let thy good Spirit lead me into the land of uprightness.

¹¹ I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have caused thee to walk in right paths.

²⁰ I shall lead in the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of judgment,

¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will cause them to walk in paths that they have not known; I will make darkness light before them and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them and not forsake them.

⁸ Behold, I turn them from the land of the north wind and gather them from the coasts of the earth; there shall be blind and lame among them, and women with child and those that travail with child together; a great company shall return there.

³⁷ behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in my anger, in my fury and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: ³⁸ and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: ³⁹ and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me for ever for the good of them and of their sons after them: ⁴⁰ and I will make an eternal covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good, and I will put my fear in their hearts that they shall not depart from me. ⁴¹ And, I will rejoice with them doing them good, and I will plant them in this land with truth, with my whole heart and with my whole soul. ⁴² For thus hath the LORD said; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I speak regarding them.

¹⁴ But I intervened for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the Gentiles, in whose sight I brought them out.

⁴ ¶ I will heal their rebellion; I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them. ⁵ I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall flourish as the lily and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His branches shall spread, and his glory shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁷ Those that shall sit under his shadow shall return; they shall be given life as the wheat, and they shall flourish as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ ¶ Ephraim shall then say, What have I to do any more with idols? I will hear him and gaze upon him; I will be unto him like a green fir tree; of me shall thy fruit be found. ⁹ Who is wise that he might understand this? and prudent that he might know this? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them; but the rebellious shall fall therein.

⁸ Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy; for if I have fallen, I shall arise; if I sit in darkness, the LORD is my light. ⁹ I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him, until he has judged my cause and executed my judgment; he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

¹⁸ Who is a God like unto thee that pardons iniquity, and passes over the rebellion with the remnant of his heritage? He did not retain his anger for ever because he delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again, he will have mercy on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; ³² but I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the beloved;

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; be zealous therefore, and repent.

⁵ Let darkness and the shadow of death redeem it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

²¹ before I go, to not return, to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death; ²² land of darkness, as darkness itself, and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

¹⁷ For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death; if they are known, the terrors of the shadow of death come over them.

⁶ I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that have set themselves against me round about.

⁵ There they were in great fear: for God is with the nation of the righteous.

¹ A Psalm of David. ¶ The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ² When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. ³ Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. ⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the LORD and to enquire in his temple.

¹⁹ though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons and covered us with the shadow of death.

¹ To the Overcomer:
for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. ¶ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in tribulation. ² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, ³ though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.

¹¹ The LORD of the hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

² The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

⁶ The LORD is for me; I will not fear what man can do unto me.

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

⁹ ¶ Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries, prepare yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. ¹⁰ Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand, for God is with us.

¹⁰ ¶ Do not fear for I am with thee; do not be dismayed, for I am thy God, who strengthens thee; I will help thee always; I will always uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹ ¶ But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Do not fear, for I have redeemed thee, I have named thee; Thou art mine. ² When thou dost pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou dost walk through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

⁶ Neither did they say, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through and where no man dwelt?

¹⁴ ¶ Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell only in the mountain, in the midst of Carmel; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the time of old.

²³ Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said, In those days it shall come to pass that ten men of all the languages of the Gentiles shall take hold of the robe of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

¹⁰ And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

¹⁴ Then I cut asunder my other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

²³ Behold, a virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God With Us.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you always even unto the end of the age. Amen.

⁷⁹ to give light to those that dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace.

⁹ Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent, ¹⁰ For I am with thee, and no one shall be able to hurt thee, for I have many people in this city.

⁵⁵ O death, where is thy sting? O Hades, where is thy victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

²² The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

¹⁶ Likewise, he would have removed thee out of the mouth of anguish into a broad place where there is no distress and should have set thy table full of fatness.

⁵ The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; thou dost maintain my lot.

²⁶ The poor shall eat and be satisfied: those that seek him shall praise the LORD; your heart shall live for ever.

²⁹ All those that are fat upon earth shall eat and worship; all those that go down to the dust shall bow before him; and no one can keep his own soul alive.

¹⁹ ¶ Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for those that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for those that wait in thee before the sons of men! ²⁰ Thou shalt keep them in the secret place of thy face from the pride of man; thou shalt keep them in the tabernacle protected from the strife of tongues.

⁷ Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

¹⁹ And they spoke against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

¹⁰ But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn; I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁵ and wine that makes glad the heart of man, making his face to shine with oil and bread which sustains man’s heart.

¹³ I will take the cup of saving health and invoke the name of the LORD.

⁶ ¶ And in this mountain the LORD of the hosts shall make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of purified wines, of fat things full of marrow, of purified liquids.

⁶ that drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments, but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

¹⁷ But thou, when thou dost fast, anoint thine head, and wash thy face

⁴⁶ Thou didst not anoint my head with oil; but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment.

⁵³ Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye shall have no life in you. ⁵⁴ Whosoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵ For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. ⁵⁶ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

⁹ I AM the door; whosoever enters in by me shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief comes not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy the sheep; I am come that they might have life and that they might have it in abundance.

²² And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no one shall take your joy from you.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the fellowship of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the fellowship of the body of the Christ?

²¹ Now he who confirms us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God;

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

²⁰ ¶ But ye have the anointing of the Holy One, and ye know all things.

²⁷ But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide ye in him.

¹¹ Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

¹⁵ As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake with thy likeness.

⁴ He asked life of thee, and thou didst give him length of days for ever and ever.

⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the LORD and to enquire in his temple.

¹¹ Thou hast turned my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness; ¹² to the end that I may sing glory unto thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

⁷ How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the sons of Adam cover themselves in the shadow of thy wings. ⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house, and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. ⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. ¹⁰ Extend thy mercy unto those that know thee and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

²⁴ Thou hast guided me with thy counsel, and afterward thou shalt receive me unto glory. ²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but thee? And apart from thee there is nothing upon the earth that I desire. ²⁶ My flesh and my heart fail; the strength of my heart is that God is my portion for ever.

¹⁷ But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those that fear him, and his righteousness unto the children’s children,

¹⁰ who delivered us from so great a death and does deliver; in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

¹ ¶ For we know that if the earthly house of this our habitation were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

²³ For I am in a strait between the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better:

¹⁸ And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and will save me for his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
