⁹ Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

³⁴ Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his terror make me afraid:

²¹ A sound of terrors is in his ears; in prosperity the spoiler shall come upon him:

¹¹ Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall chase him at his heels.

⁵ They are not in trouble as [other] men; neither are they plagued like [other] men.

¹⁹ How are they become a desolation in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. ²⁰ But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt. ²¹ There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
