¹³ For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

¹ A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain. ² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King. ³ God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.

¹⁶ Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, at the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? yea, the LORD will dwell [in it] for ever.

³² What then shall one answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and in her shall the afflicted of his people take refuge.
