¹ A Psalme of David. The Lord is my light and my saluation, whom shall I feare? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whome shall I be afraide?

² The Lord is my strength and praise, and he is become my saluation. He is my God, and I will prepare him a tabernacle. he is my fathers God, and I will exalt him.

³ When his light shined vpon mine head: and when by his light I walked thorowe the darkenesse,

⁸ Saluation belongeth vnto the Lord, and thy blessing is vpon thy people. Selah.

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. In the Lord put I my trust: howe say yee then to my soule, Flee to your mountaine as a birde?

A Psalme of Dauid the seruant of the Lord, which spake unto the Lord the wordes of this song (in the day that the Lord delivered him for the hande of all this enemies, and form the and of saul) and sayd, I will loue thee dearely, O Lord my strength. ² The Lord is my rocke, and my fortresse, and he that deliuereth me, my God and my strength: in him will I trust, my shield, the horne also of my saluation, and my refuge.

²⁸ Surely thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God wil lighten my darkenes.

⁴⁶ Let the Lord liue, and blessed be my strength, and the God of my saluation be exalted.

¹⁴ Let the wordes of my mouth, and the meditation of mine heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

⁷ The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him. ⁸ The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.

² For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou put me away? why goe I so mourning, when the enemie oppresseth me?

¹ To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found. ² Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.

² Mine enemies would dayly swallowe mee vp: for many fight against me, O thou most High. ³ When I was afrayd, I trusted in thee. ⁴ I will reioyce in God, because of his word, I trust in God, and will not feare what flesh can doe vnto me.

² Yet he is my strength and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not much be mooued.

⁶ Yet is hee my strength, and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not be mooued.

¹⁹ Praysed be the Lord, euen the God of our saluation, which ladeth vs dayly with benefites. Selah. ²⁰ This is our God, euen the God that saueth vs: and to the Lord God belong the issues of death.

¹¹ For the Lord God is the sunne and shielde vnto vs: the Lord will giue grace and glory, and no good thing will he withhold from them that walke vprightly.

⁶ The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance. ¹⁵ The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

²¹ I will praise thee: for thou hast heard mee, and hast beene my deliuerance.

⁵ O house of Iaakob, come ye, and let vs walke in the Lawe of the Lord.

² Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation.

²⁴ Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed.

⁶ Lift vp your eyes to the heauens, and looke vpon the earth beneath: for the heauens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall waxe olde like a garment, and they that dwell therein, shall perish in like maner: but my saluation shall be for euer, and my righteousnesse shall not bee abolished. ⁷ Hearken vnto me, ye that know righteousnesse, the people in whose heart is my Lawe. Feare ye not the reproche of men, neither be ye afraide of their rebukes. ⁸ For the mothe shall eate them vp like a garment, and the worme shall eate them like wool: but my righteousnesse shalbe for euer, and my saluation from generation to generation.

¹ Arise, O Ierusalem: be bright, for thy light is come, and the glorie of the Lord is risen vpon thee. ² For beholde, darkenesse shall couer the earth, and grosse darkenesse the people: but the Lord shall arise vpon thee, and his glory shall be seene vpon thee. ³ And the Gentiles shall walke in thy light, and Kings at the brightnesse of thy rising vp.

¹⁹ Thou shalt haue no more sunne to shine by day, neither shall the brightnesse of the moone shine vnto thee: for the Lord shall be thine euerlasting light, and thy God, thy glorie. ²⁰ Thy sunne shall neuer goe downe, neither shall thy moone be hid: for the Lord shalbe thine euerlasting light, and the dayes of thy sorowe shalbe ended.

¹⁰ I will greatly reioyce in the Lord, and my soule shall be ioyfull in my God: for he hath clothed mee with the garments of saluation, and couered me with the robe of righteousnes: hee hath decked me like a bridegrome, and as a bride tireth herselfe with her iewels.

⁷ Therefore I will looke vnto the Lord: I will waite for God my Sauiour: my God will heare me. ⁸ Reioyce not against me, O mine enemie: though I fall, I shall arise: when I shall sit in darkenesse, the Lord shalbe a light vnto me.

² But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, and growe vp as fat calues.

²⁶ And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme.

³⁰ For mine eyes haue seene thy saluation,

⁶ And all flesh shall see the saluation of God.

¹ In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God. ² This same was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. ⁴ In it was life, and that life was the light of men. ⁵ And that light shineth in the darkenesse, and the darkenesse comprehended it not.

⁹ This was that true light, which lighteth euery man that commeth into the world.

¹² Then spake Iesus againe vnto them, saying, I am that light of the worlde: hee that followeth mee, shall not walke in darkenes, but shall haue that light of life.

³¹ What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?

⁹ And he said vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakenesse. Very gladly therefore will I reioyce rather in mine infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

¹³ I am able to do al things through the helpe of Christ, which strengtheneth me.

⁶ I will not faile thee, neither forsake thee:

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Saluation commeth of our God, that sitteth vpon the throne, and of the Lambe.

²³ And this citie hath no neede of the sunne, neither of the moone to shine in it: for the glorie of God did light it: and the Lambe is the light of it.

⁵ And there shalbe no night there, and they neede no candle, neither light of the sunne: for the Lord God giueth them light, and they shall reigne for euermore.
