³ We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world. ⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers

⁴ I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,

¹⁵ For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which ye show toward all the saints,

¹⁴ For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, ¹⁶ that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man, ¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, ¹⁸ may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God.

³ I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you, ⁴ always in every supplication of mine on behalf of you all making my supplication with joy, ⁵ for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now,

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, ¹⁰ so that ye may approve the things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and void of offense unto the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

⁶ In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

¹³ who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,

² We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,

¹⁰ night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may perfect that which is lacking in your faith? ¹¹ Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way unto you: ¹² and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also do toward you, ¹³ to the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, ¹⁷ comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

³ I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers in a pure conscience, how unceasing is my remembrance of thee in my supplications, night and day
