⁶ And the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of hallowed things which were hallowed unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps. ⁷ In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month. ⁸ And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and His people Israel. ⁹ Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. ¹⁰ And Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said: 'Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty; for the LORD hath blessed His people; and that which is left is this great store.'

³ (5:4) O LORD, in the morning shalt Thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order my prayer unto Thee, and will look forward.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

And he went in in my sight. ³ Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. ⁴ And the glory of the LORD mounted up from the cherub to the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory. ⁵ And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when He speaketh. ⁶ And it came to pass, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying: 'Take fire from between the wheelwork, from between the cherubim', that he went in, and stood beside a wheel. ⁷ And the cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed in linen, who took it and went out. ⁸ And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings. ⁹ And I looked, and behold four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone. ¹⁰ And as for their appearance, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been within a wheel. ¹¹ When they went, they went toward their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went. ¹² And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had. ¹³ As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing The wheelwork. ¹⁴ And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. ¹⁵ And the cherubim mounted up - this is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar. ¹⁶ And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. ¹⁷ When they stood, these stood, and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them; for the spirit of the living creature was in them. ¹⁸ And the glory of the LORD went forth from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim. ¹⁹ And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

⁹ For then will I turn to the peoples a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent.

⁴⁵ Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household servants, to give them their food in due season?

⁵¹ And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth did quake, and the rocks were rent,

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household servants, to give them their portion of food in due season?

³ Look ye out therefore, brethren, from among you seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. ⁴ But we will continue stedfastly in prayer, and in the ministry of the word.

²³ And when they had appointed for them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they had believed.

²⁰ by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,

⁴ unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious, ⁵ ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
