¹ Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the front of the house faced toward the east, and the waters came down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. ² Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around the way outside to the outer gate by the way that faces eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side. ³ And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were up to the ankles. ⁴ Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the waist. ⁵ Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. ⁶ And he said unto me, Son of man, have you seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river. ⁷ Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. ⁸ Then he said unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters of the sea shall be healed. ⁹ And it shall come to pass, that everything that lives, which moves, wherever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come there: for they shall be healed; and everything shall live where the river comes. ¹⁰ And it shall come to pass, that the fishermen shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; there shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be the same kinds as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many. ¹¹ But its swamps and its marshes shall not be healed; they shall be given over to salt. ¹² And by the river upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall its fruit be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because the waters flowed out of the sanctuary: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine. ¹³ Thus says the Lord GOD; This shall be the borders, by which you shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. ¹⁴ And you shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning which I lifted up my hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance. ¹⁵ And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the road to Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; ¹⁶ Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is on the border of Hauran. ¹⁷ And the border from the sea shall be to Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side. ¹⁸ And the east side you shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by the Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side. ¹⁹ And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward. ²⁰ The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till one comes opposite Hamath. This is the west side. ²¹ So shall you divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel. ²² And it shall come to pass, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who shall bare children among you: and they shall be unto you as if born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. ²³ And it shall come to pass, that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there shall you give him his inheritance, says the Lord GOD.

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the most High.

³ And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

²⁵ And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

¹ Ho, everyone that thirsts, come you to the waters, and he that has no money; come you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

¹³ For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed themselves out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

² And the width of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured its length, forty cubits: and the width, twenty cubits.

²³ And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors. ²⁴ And the doors had two leaves apiece, two swinging leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. ²⁵ And there were carved on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm trees, as were carved upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch outside. ²⁶ And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.

¹² And by the river upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall its fruit be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because the waters flowed out of the sanctuary: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine.

¹⁸ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth from the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

¹ In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

⁸ And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

³⁷ In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. ³⁸ He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. ³⁹ (But this spoke he of the Spirit, whom they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

² Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, has entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

⁴ Then he brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

³ And he brought me there, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring rod; and he stood in the gate.

¹ I lifted up my eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

⁴⁹ And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on high.

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

³³ Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured forth this, which you now see and hear.

⁴⁵ And they of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit. ⁴⁶ For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

¹⁶ Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ If then God gave them the same gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I, that I could withstand God? ¹⁸ When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

¹ And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

¹⁵ And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

¹⁰ And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. ¹¹ And God did special miracles by the hands of Paul: ¹² So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. ¹³ Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon themselves to call over them who had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches. ¹⁴ And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, who did so. ¹⁵ And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you? ¹⁶ And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. ¹⁷ And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. ¹⁸ And many that believed came, and confessed, and told of their deeds. ¹⁹ Many of them also who used magic arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. ²⁰ So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

¹⁹ Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

⁶ Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

⁹ They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

³⁴ You saw till a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image upon its feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. ³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

³¹ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: ³² Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little while. ⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

¹¹ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what see you? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. ¹² Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. ¹³ And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What see you? And I said, I see a boiling pot; and it is facing away from the north.

⁶ He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, see you what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations.

¹⁷ Then he said unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

⁴ And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them unto you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.

⁵ And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I say unto you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all its laws; and mark well those who may enter the house, going out from the sanctuary.

² And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps on it, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon its top:

² And he said unto me, What see you? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.

⁵¹ Jesus said unto them, Have you understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

⁹ And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. ¹⁰ And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became four heads.

²⁶ And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.

¹³ He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

² In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve manner of fruit, and yielded its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

¹⁷ The plain also, with the Jordan as the border thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah on the east.

⁴⁹ And all the plain on this side of Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, below the slopes of Pisgah.

¹⁶ That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up in a heap very far at the city Adam, that is beside Zarethan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right opposite Jericho.

¹⁹ And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray you, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees: but the water is bad, and the ground barren. ²⁰ And he said, Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it. And they brought it to him. ²¹ And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus says the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from there any more death or barren land. ²² So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spoke.

⁶ The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. ⁷ And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. ⁸ And the nursing child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den. ⁹ They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

¹ The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

⁷ And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of jackals, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

¹⁷ When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongues fail for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. ¹⁸ I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. ¹⁹ I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

²⁰ The beast of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

³ For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon your descendants, and my blessing upon your offspring: ⁴ And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the watercourses. ⁵ One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write on his hand, The LORD’S, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

⁹ That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

⁹ They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, in which they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts.

¹⁵ For this people's heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

²⁶ And said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.

¹⁶ He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

³ Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

³ Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.

²⁶ Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the hurt of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

¹² Behold, these shall come from afar: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

³ And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. ⁴ Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. ⁵ Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you. ⁶ The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD. ⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. ⁸ Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? ⁹ Surely the coastlands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you. ¹⁰ And the sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor have I had mercy on you.

¹¹ And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you.

²¹ And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. ²² Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. ²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of every language of the nations, even shall take hold of the robe of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁴ But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

²⁵ Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

⁶³ It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

³⁷ In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. ³⁸ He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.

²⁵ Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: ²⁶ And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

⁶ Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.

⁴¹ Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

⁴⁷ Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as were being saved.

⁴ But many of them who heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

¹⁴ And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

⁷ And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

²⁰ And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

⁴⁵ And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life-giving spirit.

¹ And you has he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins: ² In which in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: ³ Among whom also we all had our behavior in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. ⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, ⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)

⁶ And as for the western border, you shall even have the Great Sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

⁶² And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

⁴ Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the Great Sea westward.

²⁹ And David went up from there, and dwelt in strongholds at Engedi.

² Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There comes a great multitude against you from beyond the sea on this side of Edom; and, behold, they are in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi.

²⁵ So is this great and wide sea, which teems with things innumerable, both small and great.

²⁰ The children which you shall have, after you have lost the other, shall say again in your ears, The place is too narrow for me: give a place to me that I may dwell.

⁵ It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD: and it shall become a plunder to the nations.

¹⁵ And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the road to Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

²⁸ And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.

¹⁹ And he said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

⁴⁷ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: ⁴⁸ Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. ⁴⁹ So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, ⁵⁰ And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

¹⁷ And Jesus said unto them, Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

⁴ Now when he had ceased speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch. ⁵ And Simon answering said unto him, Teacher, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at your word I will let down the net. ⁶ And when they had done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fish: and their net broke. ⁷ And they beckoned unto their partners, who were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. ⁸ When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. ⁹ For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the catch of the fish which they had taken: ¹⁰ And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from now on you shall catch men.

³ Simon Peter said unto them, I am going fishing. They said unto him, We also will go with you. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. ⁴ But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. ⁵ Then Jesus said unto them, Children, have you any fish? They answered him, No. ⁶ And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fish. ⁷ Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girded his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. ⁸ And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fish. ⁹ As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. ¹⁰ Jesus said unto them, Bring of the fish which you have now caught. ¹¹ Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fish, a hundred and fifty and three: and although there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

²³ And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

⁴⁵ And Abimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and slew the people that were therein, and beat down the city, and sowed it with salt.

³⁴ A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

⁶ For he shall be like the shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited.

⁴⁸ Where the worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁹ For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

⁴ For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, ⁶ If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. ⁷ For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth plants fit for them by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God: ⁸ But that which bears thorns and briars is worthless, and is near unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ But a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: ²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done insult unto the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. ³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

¹⁹ While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. ²⁰ For if after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. ²¹ For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. ²² But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog has turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

⁸ But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

¹¹ He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

⁹ And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

¹⁶ He grows green in the sun, and his branch shoots forth in his garden.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

⁶ From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither soothed with ointment.

²¹ Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

³ To provide for them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

²² Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then has not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

⁸ For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when the heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be anxious in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

⁷ Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

⁵ And now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born unto you in the land of Egypt before I came unto you into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

²⁶ The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my ancestors unto the utmost bounds of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brothers.

² Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When you come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan to the extent of its boundaries:) ³ Then your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the border of Edom, and your south border shall be to the edge of the salt sea on the east: ⁴ And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon: ⁵ And the border shall turn from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the end of it shall be at the sea. ⁶ And as for the western border, you shall even have the Great Sea for a border: this shall be your west border. ⁷ And this shall be your north border: from the Great Sea you shall mark out for you mount Hor: ⁸ From mount Hor you shall mark out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the end of the border shall be at Zedad: ⁹ And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the end of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border. ¹⁰ And you shall mark out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham: ¹¹ And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth: ¹² And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the end of it shall be at the Salt Sea: this shall be your land with boundaries all around.

¹ Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, since he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be recorded according to the birthright.

¹⁸ In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

¹ At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

⁴ And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Manasseh. ⁵ And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Ephraim. ⁶ And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the west side, a portion for Reuben.

⁷ And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto your descendants will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

¹⁵ For all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your descendants forever.

⁷ And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.

⁸ And I will give unto you, and to your descendants after you, the land in which you are a sojourner, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

³ Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for unto you, and unto your descendants, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham your father;

¹³ And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac: the land on which you lie, to you will I give it, and to your descendants;

¹⁶ Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to give unto them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.

³⁰ Doubtless you shall not come into the land, concerning which I swore to make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

⁸ Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their descendants after them.

³³ The lot is cast into the lap; but its every decision is of the LORD.

⁵ And say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up my hand unto the descendants of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up my hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; ⁶ In the day that I lifted up my hand unto them, to bring them forth from the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:

²⁸ For when I had brought them into the land, for I lifted up my hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet aroma, and poured out there their drink offerings.

⁴² And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for which I lifted up my hand in an oath to give it to your fathers.

²⁹ This is the land which you shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, says the Lord GOD.

⁸ From mount Hor you shall mark out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the end of the border shall be at Zedad:

¹ Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north border along the road to Hethlon, as one enters Hamath, to Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward, in the direction of Hamath; for these are the sides east and west; a portion for Dan.

¹⁵ And he divided his forces against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

²¹ So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.

⁸ And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took very much bronze.

⁶⁵ And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.

⁵ And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

¹⁷ And the border from the sea shall be to Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

¹⁴ But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, says the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entrance of Hamath unto the river of Arabah.

² And Hamath also, which borders on it; and against Tyre, and Sidon, though they are very wise.

² And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

⁹ And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the end of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.

¹⁰ And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as you came unto Zoar.

²³ And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead.

⁴⁷ And Laban called it Jegarsahadutha: but Jacob called it Galeed.

¹ Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

⁸ And that year they harassed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.

²³ Behold, though a river rages, he fears not: he is confident though the Jordan rushes into his mouth.

¹³ This is the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified among them.

⁵ And the border shall turn from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the end of it shall be at the sea.

⁵¹ Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you hallowed me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

⁸ And of Levi he said, Let your Thummim and your Urim be with your holy one, whom you did test at Massah, and with whom you did strive at the waters of Meribah;

³ And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and southward beneath the slopes of Pisgah:

⁷ You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder: I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

¹² And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall thresh from the channel of the river to the stream of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.

⁵⁵ Nevertheless the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. ⁵⁶ According to the lot shall the possession of it be divided between many and few.

¹ For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cling to the house of Jacob.

⁶ Also the sons of the foreigner, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, everyone that keeps the sabbath from defiling it, and takes hold of my covenant; ⁷ Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.

¹³ Thus says the Lord GOD; This shall be the borders, by which you shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. ¹⁴ And you shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning which I lifted up my hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

⁵ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. ⁶ Now when this was sounded abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his own language. ⁷ And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these who speak Galileans? ⁸ And how hear we every man in our own tongue, in which we were born? ⁹ Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, ¹⁰ Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, Jews and proselytes,

¹⁸ When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

⁹ And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ And if you are Christ's, then are you Abraham's descendants, and heirs according to the promise.

¹² That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

¹⁹ Now therefore you are no more strangers and sojourners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; ²⁰ And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; ²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

⁶ That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

¹¹ Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; ¹⁰ And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
