³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.

³⁷ But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out secretly? no truthfully; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

⁶ And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brothers unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come to here also; ⁷ Whom Jason has received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.

²¹ Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

³⁶ For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.

²² And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.

¹⁰ And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.

⁵ For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:

¹³ Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

²⁰ Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: ²¹ That as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

⁹ That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ¹¹ For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. ¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. ¹³ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ¹⁴ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

¹⁴ Bless those who persecute you: bless, and curse not.

⁸ Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

¹² And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we tolerate it:

¹⁰ Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

⁸ We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

³ And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) ⁴ That he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

¹³ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:

¹⁴ For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us; ¹⁵ Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of two one new man, so making peace; ¹⁶ And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: ¹⁷ And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were close. ¹⁸ For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

²³ For I am in a tight place between the two, having a desire to depart, an to be with Christ; which is far better:

¹³ I give you charge in the sight of God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

⁸ But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is close unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

¹⁹ Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil;

²⁵ Therefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them. ²⁶ For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

³ And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; ⁴ Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; ⁵ And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. ⁶ Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. ⁷ But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: ⁸ The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

¹⁹ Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; ²¹ And having a high priest over the house of God; ²² Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

² Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹² Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate. ¹³ Let us go forth therefore unto him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.

⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

⁶ And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

⁴ Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest.

¹¹ And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

¹³ These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. ¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
