¹⁴ Said unto them, You have brought this man unto me, as one that perverts the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof you accuse him:

⁴ Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see you to that.

¹⁹ When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Do nothing to that righteous man: for I have endured many things this day in a dream because of him.

²⁸ And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
