¹ Then* Job answered and said, ² "How you* have helped _⌊one who has no power_⌋!* How you* have assisted the arm _⌊that has no strength_⌋!* ³ How you* have advised _⌊one who has no wisdom_⌋!* And what sound wisdom you* have made known _⌊in abundance_⌋!* ⁴ _⌊With whose help_⌋* have you* uttered words, and whose breath has come forth from you?* ⁵ "The spirits of the dead tremble below the waters and their inhabitants. ⁶ Sheol is naked before him, and there is no covering for Abaddon. ⁷ He stretches out the north over emptiness; he hangs the earth _⌊over nothing_⌋.* ⁸ He ties up the water in its clouds, and the cloud is not torn open beneath it.* ⁹ He covers the face of the full moon;* he spreads his cloud over it. ¹⁰ _⌊He has described a circle_⌋* on the face of the water _⌊between light and darkness_⌋.* ¹¹ "The pillars of heaven tremble, and they are astounded at his rebuke. ¹² By his power he stilled the sea, and by his understanding he struck down Rahab. ¹³ By his breath _⌊the heavens were made clear_⌋;* his hand pierced the fleeing snake. ¹⁴ Look, these are the outer fringes of his ways, and _⌊how faint is the word_⌋* that we hear of him! But* who can understand the thunder of his power?"

²⁷ It happened at noon that Elijah mocked them and said, "Call out with a loud voice, for he is a god! Perhaps he is meditating, or _⌊is using the bathroom_⌋,* or is on a journey. Perhaps he is asleep and must wake up!"

³ Look, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands. ⁴ Your words have raised up the one who stumbles, and you have strengthened knees giving way.

¹² Or is my strength like the strength of stones? Or is my flesh bronze?

²⁵ How painful are _⌊upright words_⌋!* But* what does _⌊your reproof_⌋* reprove?

² "Truly indeed you* are the people, and wisdom will die with you.*

⁴ I myself* also could talk as you, if _⌊you were in my place_⌋;* I could join against you with words, and I could shake at you with my head. ⁵ I could* encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would* ease the pain.

⁹ Do not cast me away in the time of old age; when my strength fails do not abandon me.

³ Strengthen the weak hands and make the staggering knees firm. ⁴ Say to those who are hasty of heart,
"Be strong; you must not fear! Look! your God will come with vengeance, with _⌊divine retribution_⌋.* He _⌊is the one who_⌋* will come and save you."

¹⁴ With whom has he consulted, that* he enlightened him* and taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and made the way of understanding known to him?

⁵ The coastlands have seen and are afraid; the ends of the earth tremble. They have drawn near, and they have come. ⁶ Each one helps* his neighbor; he says to his brother, "Take courage!" ⁷ And the artisan encourages the _⌊goldsmith_⌋,* the one who makes smooth with the hammer encourages the one who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, "It is good!" And they strengthen it with nails so it cannot be knocked over.

¹³ _⌊Indeed_⌋,* my help is not in me, and any success is driven from me.

³ _⌊I also have insight_⌋* like you;* I am not more inferior than you.* And _⌊who does not know things like these_⌋?*

⁵ _⌊O that_⌋* you* would keep completely silent, and that it would become wisdom for you.*

⁸ Have you listened in God's confidential discussion? And do you limit wisdom to yourself? ⁹ What do you know that we do not know? What do you understand that is not clear to us? ¹⁰ Both the gray-haired and the old are among us— _⌊those older than your father_⌋.*

¹⁰ But* _⌊all of you must return_⌋*—_⌊please come_⌋!* But* I shall not find a wise person among you.

¹¹ "Look, I waited for your* words; I listened for your* insight, until you searched out _⌊what to say_⌋.* ¹² And I directed my attention to you;* and, look, there is no one for Job who refuted, answering his words among you. ¹³ So do not say, 'We have found wisdom; let God refute him, not a man.'

³ My words declare my heart's uprightness, and my lips sincerely speak _⌊what my lips know_⌋.*

³³ If not, you listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom."

² "Who is this darkening counsel by words without knowledge?

¹ For the music director. Of the sons of Korah. A psalm.*
Hear this, all you peoples; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world, ² both low and high, rich and poor together. ³ My mouth will speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will be understanding. ⁴ I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will _⌊propound_⌋* my riddle on a lyre.

¹⁵ My mouth will tell of your righteousness, your salvation _⌊all day long_⌋,* though I do not know the full sum of them. ¹⁶ I will come in to tell the mighty deeds of Lord Yahweh. I will _⌊make known_⌋* your righteousness, yours only. ¹⁷ O God, you have taught me from my youth, and up to now I have proclaimed your wonderful deeds. ¹⁸ And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me until I proclaim your _⌊strength_⌋* to this generation, your power to every one that comes after.

⁶ Listen! For noble things I will speak, and upright things from the opening of my lips. ⁷ My mouth will utter truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. ⁸ All sayings of my mouth are in righteousness; none of them are twisted and crooked. ⁹ All of them are straight to him who understands, and upright to those who find knowledge.

²⁰ how I did not shrink from proclaiming to you anything that would be profitable, and from teaching you in public and from house to house,

²⁷ for I did not shrink from proclaiming to you the whole purpose of God.

²³ So then, see that Yahweh has placed a false spirit in the mouth of all of these your prophets, and Yahweh has spoken disaster concerning you." ²⁴ Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah came near and slapped Micaiah on the cheek and said, "When did the Spirit of Yahweh pass from me to speak with you?"

³ I hear discipline that insults me, and a spirit beyond my understanding answers me.

¹⁸ for I am full of words;* _⌊the spirit within me_⌋* urges me.

⁷ And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the breath returns to God who gave it.

³ Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed," and no one is able to say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit.

¹ Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. ² By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ* has come in the flesh is from God, ³ and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

¹³ And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs. ¹⁴ For they are the spirits of demons performing signs that go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them for the battle of the great day of God the All-Powerful.

⁴ The Nephilim were upon the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God went into the daughters of humankind, and they bore children to them.

¹ * "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or* _⌊can you tie down its mouth with a cord_⌋?* ² Can you put a rope in its nose? Or* can you pierce its jawbone with a hook? ³ Will it make numerous pleas for mercy to you? Or will it speak gentle words to you? ⁴ Will it make a covenant with you? Will you take it as a slave forever? ⁵ Will you play with it as with birds and put it on a leash for your girls? ⁶ Will guildsmen bargain over it? Will they divide it between tradesmen? ⁷ Can you fill its kin with harpoons or* its head with fish spears? ⁸ Lay your hands on it; think about the battle—you will not do it again! ⁹ "Look, _⌊the hope of capturing it_⌋* is false. Will one be hurled down even at its sight? ¹⁰ Is it not fierce when somebody stirs it? Who then is he who would stand _⌊before it_⌋?* ¹¹ Who has come to confront me, that* I should repay him? Under all the heavens, _⌊it belongs to me_⌋.* ¹² "I will not keep quiet concerning its limbs or* concerning the extent of its might and the gracefulness of its frame. ¹³ Who can strip off _⌊its outer covering_⌋?* Who can penetrate its double harness? ¹⁴ Who can open the doors of its face? Its teeth all around are fearsome. ¹⁵ Its back* has scales of shields; it is shut up closely as with a seal. ¹⁶ They are close _⌊to one another_⌋—* even* the air cannot come between them. ¹⁷ They are joined _⌊one to another_⌋;* they cling together and cannot be separated. ¹⁸ "Its snorting flashes forth light, and its eyes are _⌊red like dawn_⌋.* ¹⁹ Torches go from its mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. ²⁰ Smoke comes from its nostrils as from a kettle boiling and burning bulrushes. ²¹ Its breath kindles charcoal, and a flame comes from its mouth. ²² "Strength abides in its neck, and dismay* dances _⌊before it_⌋.* ²³ Its flesh's folds of skin cling together; it is cast on it—it will not be moved. ²⁴ Its heart is cast as stone; yes,* it is cast as the lower millstone. ²⁵ _⌊When it raises itself_⌋,* the mighty ones are terrified; they retreat because of its thrashing. ²⁶ Reaching it with the sword does not avail, nor with the spear, the dart, or* the javelin. ²⁷ It regards iron as straw, bronze as rotten wood. ²⁸ _⌊An arrow_⌋* will not make it flee; sling stones are turned to stubble for it. ²⁹ Clubs are regarded as stubble, and it laughs at the short sword's rattle. ³⁰ "Its underparts are shards of a potsherd; it moves over mud like a threshing sledge. ³¹ It makes the deep boil like a cooking pot; it makes the sea like a pot of ointment. ³² Behind it, _⌊it leaves a glistening wake_⌋;* one would think that the deep has gray hair. ³³ "_⌊On the ground it has no equal_⌋*— a* creature without fear. ³⁴ It observes all the lofty; it is king _⌊over all that are proud_⌋."*

¹⁰ Do you work wonders* for the dead? Or do the departed spirits* rise up to praise you? Selah

²⁵ This is the great and _⌊wide_⌋* sea, in which are moving animals without number, living things small and great. ²⁶ There the ships sail. Leviathan is there that you formed to play with.*

³ Speak, and you must say, 'thus says the Lord Yahweh:
"Look! I am against you, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, the great sea monster, the one lying down in the midst of his Nile streams, who says to me, "It is my Nile, and I made it for myself."* ⁴ And so I will put hooks in your jawbones, and I will make the fish of your Nile streams stick to your scales, and I will bring you up from the midst of your Nile streams, and all of the fish of your Nile streams which cling to your scales. ⁵ And I will fling you to the desert, you and all the fish of your Nile streams. On the surface of the field you will fall; you will not be gathered, and you will not be assembled. To the animals* of the field and to the birds* of the heavens I will give you as food.

⁸ _⌊It is higher than the heaven_⌋;* what can you do? It is deeper than Sheol; what can you know?

²² Abaddon and Death say, 'We heard its rumor with our ears.'

¹¹ Who has come to confront me, that* I should repay him? Under all the heavens, _⌊it belongs to me_⌋.*

⁸ If I ascend to heaven, there you are, and if I make my bed in Sheol, look! There you are.

¹¹ And if I should say, "Surely darkness will cover me, and the light around me will be as night,"

¹¹ Sheol* and Abaddon* are before Yahweh, _⌊how much more_⌋* the hearts of the children of men!

⁹ Sheol below is getting excited over you, to meet _⌊you when you come_⌋;* it arouses the dead spirits for you, all of the leaders of the earth. It raises all of the kings of the nations from their thrones.

² If they dig into Sheol, from there my hand will take them, and even if they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down.

¹³ And no creature is hidden in the sight of him, but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of him to whom _⌊we must give our account_⌋*.

¹ In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth— ² Now* the earth was formless and empty, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

⁸ He is the one who alone stretches out the heavens and who tramples on the waves of the sea.

² because he has founded it on the seas, and has established it on the rivers.

² you who cover yourself with light as with a garment, who stretch out the heavens like a tent curtain, ³ the one who sets beams in the waters for his upper chambers, who makes clouds his chariot, who rides* on the wings of the wind, ⁴ who makes his messengers the winds, his attendants a flame of fire. ⁵ He established the earth on her foundations, so that it will not be moved forever and ever.

²³ From eternity, I was set up from the first, from the beginning* of the earth. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth, when there were no springs of _⌊abounding_⌋* water. ²⁵ Before mountains had been shaped, before hills, I was brought forth. ²⁶ When he had not yet made earth and fields, or the first dust of the world, ²⁷ _⌊when he established_⌋* the heavens, there I was, _⌊when he drew_⌋* a circle upon the face of the deep,

²² He is the one who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; the one who stretches out the heavens like a veil and spreads them out like a tent to live in,

²⁶ Lift your eyes up on high, and see! Who created these? The one who brings out their host by number. He calls all them by name. Because he is great of power and mighty of power, no man is missing.

⁵ Thus says the God, Yahweh, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its offspring, who gives breath to the people upon it and spirit to those who walk in it.

⁶ And God said, "Let there be a vaulted dome* in the midst of the waters, and _⌊let it cause a separation between the waters_⌋."* ⁷ So* God made the vaulted dome,* and he caused a separation between the waters which were under the vaulted dome* and between the waters which were over the vaulted dome.* And it was so.

²⁹ "Moreover, _⌊can anyone understand_⌋* the spreading of clouds, the thundering of his dwelling place?

¹¹ Also, he loads down thick clouds with moisture; his lightning scatters the clouds. ¹² And _⌊they_⌋* turn around by his guidance to accomplish all that he has commanded them on the face of _⌊the habitable world_⌋.* ¹³ Whether as _⌊correction_⌋* or for his land, or as loyal love, he lets it happen. ¹⁴ "Hear this, Job; stand still and consider carefully God's wondrous works. ¹⁵ Do you know _⌊how God commands them_⌋* and how he causes his cloud's lightning to shine? ¹⁶ Do you know about the hovering of the clouds, _⌊the marvelous works of the one with perfect knowledge_⌋?*

⁹ at my making the clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band,

³⁷ Who can number the clouds with wisdom? Or* who can tilt heaven's jars,

¹⁰ And he mounted a cherub and flew, and he swooped down on wings of wind. ¹¹ He made darkness his hiding place; all about him his covering was a darkness of waters, _⌊thick clouds_⌋.*

⁷ He causes clouds to rise from the edge of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings out the wind from his storehouses.

⁴ Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of his hand? Who has wrapped water in a* garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name and what is the name of his child? For surely you know.

⁶ And I will make it a wasteland; it shall not be pruned and hoed, and it shall be overgrown with briers* and thornbushes.* And concerning the clouds, I will command _⌊them not to send_⌋* rain down upon it.

¹³ _⌊When he utters his voice_⌋* there is a noise of water in the heavens, and he causes the mist to rise from the ends* of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he causes the wind to go out from his storehouses.

²¹ And the people stood at a distance, and Moses approached the very thick cloud where God was.

²⁰ But he said, "You are not able to see my face, because a human will not see me and live." ²¹ And Yahweh said, "There is a place with me, and you will stand on the rock. ²² _⌊And_⌋* when my glory passes over, I will put you in the rock's crevice, and I will cover you with my hand until I pass over. ²³ And I will remove my hand, and you will see my back, but my face will not be visible."

³ And no one will go up with you, and neither let anyone be seen on all the mountain, nor let the sheep and goats and the cattle graze _⌊opposite_⌋* that mountain."

¹² Then Solomon said, "Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the very thick cloud.

¹⁴ Thick clouds are a covering for him, so that he does not see; and he walks about on the dome of heaven.'

² Cloud and thick darkness are surrounding him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

³ God came from Teman; the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, and his praise fills the earth. ⁴ And his brightness was like the light; flashing rays came from his hand for him; And there is the covering of his strength. ⁵ Before him went Disease,* and Pestilence* went out at his feet.

¹⁶ the one who alone possesses immortality, who lives in unapproachable light, whom no human being has seen nor is able to see, to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

²² _⌊As long as the earth endures_⌋,* seed and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will not cease.

⁸ "Or who shut the sea in with doors at its bursting, when it went out of the womb, ⁹ at my making the clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, ¹⁰ and I prescribed my rule for it, and I set bars and doors, ¹¹ and I said, 'You shall come up to here, but* you shall not go further, and here it will set a boundary _⌊for your proud surging waves_⌋'?*

⁷ He gathered the waters of the sea like a heap. He put the deeps in storehouses.

⁶ You covered it with the deep as with a garment. The waters stood above the mountains. ⁷ At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they ran off. ⁸ They ascended the mountains and drained though the valleys to the place that you established* for them. ⁹ You set a boundary that they may not cross over, so that they would not return to cover the earth.

²⁹ _⌊when he assigned_⌋* his limits to the sea, that waters shall not transgress his _⌊command_⌋,* _⌊when he marked_⌋* the foundations of the earth,

⁹ "For this is like the waters of Noah to me, when I swore _⌊that the waters of Noah would never again pass_⌋* over the earth, so I swore _⌊that I would not be_⌋* angry at you and rebuke you. ¹⁰ For the mountains may depart, and the hills may sway, but* my faithfulness shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not sway," says Yahweh, who has compassion on you,

²² Do you not revere me?" _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh, "Do you not tremble _⌊before me_⌋?* For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, _⌊as an everlasting limit_⌋,* and it cannot pass over it, and they rise and fall loudly, but they cannot prevail, and its waves roar, but they cannot pass over it.

⁸ He raises up the poor from the dust. From the ash heap he lifts up the needy, to cause them to sit with noble people and to cause them to inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth belong to Yahweh and he has set the inhabited world on them.

¹⁵ Look, he does not trust his holy ones, and the heavens are not clean in his eyes.

⁷ Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled, and they staggered because he was angry.

²¹ "Say to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah: I am going to shake the heavens and the earth,

²⁶ whose voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, saying,
"Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven."* ²⁷ Now the phrase "yet once more" indicates the removal of what is shaken, namely, things that have been created, in order that the things that are not shaken may remain.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will disappear with a rushing noise, and the celestial bodies will be destroyed by* being burned up, and the earth and the deeds done on it will be disclosed.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and the one who was seated on it, _⌊from whose presence_⌋* earth and heaven fled, and a place was not found for them.

²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and Yahweh moved the sea* with a strong east wind all night, and he made the sea become dry ground, and the waters were divided. ²² And the _⌊Israelites_⌋* entered the middle of the sea on the dry land. The waters were a wall for them on their right and on their left. ²³ And the Egyptians gave chase* and entered after them—all the horses of Pharaoh, his chariots, and his charioteers—into the middle of the sea. ²⁴ And during the morning watch, Yahweh looked down to the Egyptian camp from in the column of fire and cloud, and he threw the Egyptian camp into a panic. ²⁵ And he removed* the wheels of their chariots so that they drove them with difficulty, and the Egyptians said, "We must flee away* from Israel because Yahweh is fighting for them against Egypt." ²⁶ And Yahweh said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, and let the waters return over the Egyptians, over their chariots, and over their charioteers." ²⁷ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned _⌊at daybreak_⌋* to its normal level, and the Egyptians were fleeing _⌊because of it_⌋,* and Yahweh swept the Egyptians into the middle of the sea. ²⁸ And the waters returned and covered the chariots and the charioteers—all the army of Pharaoh coming after them into the sea. Not _⌊even_⌋* one survived among them. ²⁹ But the _⌊Israelites_⌋* walked on the dry land in the middle of the sea. The waters were a wall for them on their right and on their left. ³⁰ And Yahweh saved Israel on that day from the hand* of Egypt, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea. ³¹ And Israel saw the great hand* that Yahweh displayed against Egypt, and the people feared Yahweh, and they believed in Yahweh and in Moses his servant.

¹³ God will not turn back his anger; beneath him the helpers of Rahab bow.

¹³ "With him are wisdom and powerful deeds, and to him belong counsel and understanding.

¹¹ Pour out the overflowing of your anger, and look at all the proud, and humble them. ¹² Look at all the proud, humble them, and tread down the wicked _⌊where they stand_⌋.*

¹⁰ Yahweh sits enthroned at the flood, and Yahweh sits as king forever.

¹³ You split open the sea by your strength; You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.

⁹ You are ruling the surging of the sea. When its waves rise, _⌊you yourself still_⌋* them. ¹⁰ _⌊You yourself crushed_⌋* Rahab like one who is slain; you scattered your enemies with your strong arm.

³ The rivers have lifted up, O Yahweh; the rivers have lifted up their _⌊rumbling_⌋;* the rivers have lifted up their pounding. ⁴ Mightier than the rumblings of many waters, mightier than the mighty breakers of the sea, Yahweh on high is mighty.

² Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion. ³ The sea looked and fled; the Jordan turned back. ⁴ The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like _⌊lambs_⌋.* ⁵ What's with you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? ⁶ O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O hills, like lambs? ⁷ At the presence of the Lord writhe, O earth,* at the presence of the God of Jacob,

¹² For there is a day for Yahweh of hosts against all of the proud and the lofty and against all that is lifted up and humble,*

⁹ Awake! Awake; put on strength, O arm of Yahweh! Awake as in days of long ago, the generations of a long time back! Are you not the one who cut Rahab in pieces, the one who pierced the sea-dragon?

¹⁵ For* I am Yahweh, your God, who stirs up* the sea, _⌊so that_⌋* its waves roar; Yahweh of hosts is his name.

³⁵ Thus says Yahweh, who gives the sun for light by day, the regulations of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and its waves roar—Yahweh of hosts is his name.

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honor the king of heaven, for all his works are truth,* and his ways are justice and that he is able to humble those who walk in pride."

⁶ But he gives greater grace. Therefore it says,
"God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."*

² Now* the earth was formless and empty, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

⁶ By the word of Yahweh the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host. ⁷ He gathered the waters of the sea like a heap. He put the deeps in storehouses.

¹³ You split open the sea by your strength; You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters. ¹⁴ You crushed the heads of Leviathan; you gave him as food to the desert dwelling creatures.

³⁰ You send forth your Spirit,* they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.

¹ On that day, Yahweh will punish with his cruel, great and strong sword Leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and Leviathan, the twisting serpent, and he will kill the sea monster that is in the sea.

⁹ And the great dragon was thrown down, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

¹⁰ Yahweh will shatter* his adversaries;* he will thunder against them in the heavens. Yahweh will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king and will exalt the might of his anointed one.

¹² "And a word came stealing to me, and my ear received the whisper from it.

⁷ "Can you find out the essence of God, or can you find out _⌊the ultimate limits_⌋* of Shaddai? ⁸ _⌊It is higher than the heaven_⌋;* what can you do? It is deeper than Sheol; what can you know? ⁹ Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea.

⁹ Or do you have an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

³ The voice of Yahweh is over the waters; the God of glory thunders. Yahweh is over many waters.

⁶ Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. It is set high; I cannot prevail against it.

³ Great is Yahweh, and very worthy of praise, and his greatness is unsearchable.

²⁶ Lift your eyes up on high, and see! Who created these? The one who brings out their host by number. He calls all them by name. Because he is great of power and mighty of power, no man is missing. ²⁷ _⌊Why_⌋* do you say, Jacob, and you speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and my judgment is passed over by my God?" ²⁸ Have you not known, or have you not heard? Yahweh is the God of eternity, the creator of the ends of the earth! He is not faint, and he does not grow weary! There is no searching his understanding. ²⁹ He gives power to the weary, and he increases power for _⌊the powerless_⌋.*

³³ Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how incomprehensible are his ways!

⁹ For we know in part and we prophesy in part, ¹⁰ but whenever the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. ¹¹ When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside the things of a child. ¹² For now we see through a mirror _⌊indirectly_⌋*, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know completely, just as I have also been completely known.
