³ Now his appearance was like lightning and his clothing white as snow.

⁴ who makes his messengers the winds, his attendants a flame of fire.

⁴ And I looked,* and look! A storm wind was coming from the north, a great cloud, and fire flashing back and forth, and brightness around and _⌊within it_⌋,* and from its midst* it was like the outward appearance of amber stone from the midst* of the fire. ⁵ And from its midst* was the likeness of four living creatures, and this was their appearance: _⌊a human form_⌋,* ⁶ and _⌊each had four faces_⌋,* and _⌊each of them had four wings_⌋.* ⁷ And their legs were straight legs, and the sole of their feet was like the sole of the foot of a calf, and they were sparkling like the outward appearance of polished bronze. ⁸ And under their wings were _⌊human hands_⌋* on their four sides. And their faces and their wings for the four of them were as follows: ⁹ _⌊their wings were touching one another_⌋;* _⌊each of them went straight forward_⌋,* _⌊without turning right or left_⌋.* ¹⁰ The likeness of their faces was the face of a human in front, and the face of a lion on the right _⌊of each of them_⌋,* and the face of an ox on the left _⌊of each of them_⌋,* and the face of an eagle _⌊for each of them_⌋.* ¹¹ So were their faces; their wings were spread out _⌊upward_⌋;* each had two touching one another and two covering their bodies. ¹² And each _⌊went straight forward_⌋;* _⌊wherever the spirit went_⌋* they went, and _⌊they did not turn as they went_⌋.* ¹³ As for* the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches. It* was moving to and fro between the living creatures, and _⌊the fire was very bright_⌋* and lightning was going out from the fire. ¹⁴ And the living creatures _⌊were speeding to and fro_⌋* like the appearance of lightning.

⁹ "_⌊I continued watching_⌋* until thrones were placed and an Ancient of Days sat; his clothing was like white snow and the hair of his head was like pure wool and his throne was a flame* of fire and its wheels* were burning fire.

⁵ And I lifted up my eyes and I saw,* and there was a man, and he was dressed in linen, and his waist was girded with the gold of Uphaz. ⁶ Now his body was like turquoise,* and his face was like the appearance of lightning, and his eyes were like torches of fire, and his arms and his legs were like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words was like the sound of a multitude.

² And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothing became bright as the light.

³ and his clothing became radiant—extremely white, like no cloth refiner on earth can _⌊make so white_⌋.*

⁵ And as they* were going into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

¹² and she saw two angels in white, seated one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been lying.

¹⁰ And as they were staring into the sky while* he was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood by them

¹⁴ and his head and hair were white like wool, white as snow, and his eyes were like a fiery flame, ¹⁵ and his feet were like fine bronze when it has been fired in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters, ¹⁶ and he had in his right hand seven stars, and a sharp double-edged sword coming out of his mouth, and his face was like the sun shining in its strength.

⁴ But you have a few _⌊people_⌋* in Sardis who have not defiled their clothing, and they will walk with me in white, because they are worthy. ⁵ The one who conquers in this way will be dressed in white clothing, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, and I will declare his name before my Father and before his angels.

¹ And I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, and a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire,*

¹ After these things I saw another angel descending from heaven, who had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.
