²⁴ How many are your works, O Yahweh; all of them you have done in wisdom. The earth is full of your creatures.

¹¹ And God said, "Let the earth produce green plants that will bear seed—fruit trees bearing fruit _⌊in which there is seed_⌋*—according to its* kind, on the earth." And it was so. ¹² And the earth brought forth green plants bearing seed according to its* kind, and trees bearing fruit _⌊in which there was seed_⌋* according to its* kind. And God saw that it was good.

²⁴ And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kind: cattle and moving things, and wild animals* according to their kind." And it was so. ²⁵ So* God made wild animals* according to their kind and the cattle according to their kind, and every creeping thing of the earth according to its* kind. And God saw that it was good.

³¹ And God saw everything that he had made and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning, a sixth day.

⁶ "You alone are Yahweh. You alone have made the heavens, the heavens of the heavens, and all of their army, the earth and all that is in it, the waters and all that is in them. You give life to all of them, and the army of the heavens worship you.

⁹ He is doing great and _⌊unsearchable_⌋* things, marvelous things _⌊without number_⌋*—

³ When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you set in place—

The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness, the world and those who live in it,

⁵ Many things, O Yahweh my God, you have done— your wonderful deeds and your thoughts toward us. There is none to compare with you. If I tried to proclaim and tell of them, they would be too numerous to count.

¹⁰ because every animal of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. ¹¹ I know every bird of the mountains, and every moving creature in the field is mine. ¹² If I were hungry I would not tell you, because the world and its fullness are mine.

¹¹ You crown the year with your _⌊bounty_⌋,* and your wagon paths drip with _⌊richness_⌋.*

³¹ Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his loyal love and his wonderful deeds for the children of humankind,

⁵ To him who made the heavens with skill,* for his loyal love endures forever.

¹⁹ Yahweh in wisdom founded the earth; he established the heavens in understanding. ²⁰ With his knowledge, depths broke open, and clouds dropped dew.

²² "Yahweh possessed* me, the first of his ways, before his acts _⌊of old_⌋.* ²³ From eternity, I was set up from the first, from the beginning* of the earth. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth, when there were no springs of _⌊abounding_⌋* water. ²⁵ Before mountains had been shaped, before hills, I was brought forth. ²⁶ When he had not yet made earth and fields, or the first dust of the world, ²⁷ _⌊when he established_⌋* the heavens, there I was, _⌊when he drew_⌋* a circle upon the face of the deep, ²⁸ _⌊when he made_⌋* skies from above, when he founded fountains of the deep, ²⁹ _⌊when he assigned_⌋* his limits to the sea, that waters shall not transgress his _⌊command_⌋,* _⌊when he marked_⌋* the foundations of the earth, ³⁰ I was _⌊beside_⌋* him, a master workman, and I was delighting day by day, rejoicing before him _⌊always_⌋,* ³¹ rejoicing in the world of his earth, and my delight was with the children of humankind. ³² "And now, children, listen to me; happy are those who will keep my ways. ³³ Hear teaching and be wise; do not neglect it. ³⁴ Happy is the person who listens to me, in order to keep watch at my doors day by day, in order to guard the frames of my entrances. ³⁵ For he who finds me is he who finds* life, and he obtains favor from Yahweh. ³⁶ But he who misses me injures himself.* All those who hate me love death."

¹² He is the maker of the earth by his power, who created the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding he stretched out heaven.

³³ Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how incomprehensible are his ways!

⁸ that he caused to abound to us in all wisdom and insight,

¹⁰ in order that the many-sided wisdom of God might be made known now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places through the church,

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this present age not to be proud and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in God, who provides us all things richly for enjoyment,
