¹ Then through fourteen years, I again went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, also taking Titus with me .

³⁶ And Joses, the one surnamed Barnabas by the apostles, which being translated is, Son of Consolation, a Levite, a Cypriot by race, ³⁷ a field being his, selling it, he bore the proceeds and placed them at the feet of the apostles.

²⁵ And Barnabas went out to Tarsus to seek Saul.

³⁰ which they also did, sending to the elders through the hand of Barnabas and Saul.

²⁵ And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, having fulfilled the service, and having taken with them the one surnamed Mark.

² And while they were doing service to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, So then separate both Barnabas and Saul to Me, for the work to which I have called them.

⁵⁰ But the Jews excited the devout and honorable women, and the chief ones of the city, and raised up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out from their borders.

¹² And they called Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the leader in speaking.

² Then dissension and not a little disputation with them having taken place by Paul and Barnabas, they appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others of them to go up into Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this question. ³ Then, indeed, having been sent forward by the church they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, fully narrating the conversion of the nations. And they were producing great joy among all the brothers. ⁴ And having arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and the elders. And they reported what things God did with them.

²⁵ it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to send chosen men to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

³⁶ And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, Indeed, having turned back, let us look after our brothers throughout every city in which we announced the Word of the Lord, how they are holding it. ³⁷ But Barnabas purposed to take John with them, the one having been called Mark. ³⁸ But Paul thought it well not to take that one with them, he having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia, and not going with them to the work. ³⁹ Then there was sharp feeling, so as to separate them from each other. And taking Mark, Barnabas sailed away to Cyprus.

⁶ Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no authority to quit work?

¹⁶ But thanks be to God, who gives the same earnestness for you in the heart of Titus.

²³ If any asks about Titus, he is my partner and a fellow worker for you; or about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

¹⁸ Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Peter and remained with him fifteen days.

³ But not even Titus, the one with me, a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

¹³ And also the rest of the Jews dissembled with him, so as even Barnabas was led away with their dissembling.

¹⁰ Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, also Mark the cousin of Barnabas, about whom you received orders. If he comes to you, receive him.

⁴ to Titus, a true child according to our common faith. Grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.
