¹⁴ But when you see "the abomination of desolation," the one spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (he reading, let him understand), then let those in Judea flee into the mountains. Dan. 11:31; 12:11

¹⁰ The enemy has spread out his hand on all her desirable things. Indeed, she has seen the nations enter into her holy place, whom You commanded that they not enter into Your congregation.

⁹ So says the Lord Jehovah: No son of an alien, uncircumcised of heart and uncircumcised of flesh, shall enter into My sanctuary, or any son of an alien who is among the sons of Israel.

¹³ Then I heard a certain holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that one who spoke, Until when is the vision, the regular sacrifice and the desolating transgression, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled?

²⁷ And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on a wing of the altar will be abominations that desolate, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall pour out on the desolator.

³¹ And forces will stand away from him, and they will profane the sanctuary, the fortress. And they shall remove the regular sacrifice, and they will place the abomination that desolates.

¹¹ And from the time the regular sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates set up, a thousand, two hundred and ninety days shall occur .

⁵¹ Jesus said to them, Have you understood all these things? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.

¹⁵ Then when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (the one reading, let him understand), Dan. 11:31; 12:11 ¹⁶ then let those in Judea flee on the mountains; ¹⁷ the one on the housetop, let him not come down to take anything out of his house; ¹⁸ and the one in the field, let him not turn back to take his garment. ¹⁹ But woe to the woman having a child in womb, and to those suckling in those days! ²⁰ And pray that your flight will not be in winter nor on a sabbath. ²¹ For there will be great affliction, such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be. ²² And except those days were shortened, not any flesh would be saved. But on account of the elect, those days will be shortened. ²³ Then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ! Or, Here! Do not believe. ²⁴ For false christs and false prophets will rise up. And they will give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. ²⁵ Behold, I tell you beforehand. ²⁶ Then if they say to you, Behold, He is in the wilderness; do not go out. Behold, He is in the inner rooms; do not believe. ²⁷ For as the lightning comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of man. ²⁸ For wherever the dead body may be, there the eagles will be gathered.

²⁰ And when you see Jerusalem being encircled by armies, then recognize that its destruction has come near. ²¹ Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains; and those in its midst, let them go out. And those in the open spaces, let them not go into her. ²² For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled. ²³ But woe to the pregnant women, and the ones suckling in those days; for great distress will be on the earth and wrath on this people. ²⁴ And they will fall by the mouth of the sword and will be led captive to all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.

³⁰ And running near Philip heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Indeed, do you know what you are reading? ³¹ But he said, How should I be able except someone shall guide me? And he called Philip near, to come up to sit with him.

⁷ Yet lifeless things giving a sound, whether flute or harp, if they do not give a distinction in the sound, how will it be known what is being piped or harped? ⁸ For also if a trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who will get himself ready for war?

²⁰ Brothers, do not be children in your minds, but in malice be like infants, and in your minds be mature.

³ Blessed is the one reading, and those hearing the words of this prophecy, and keeping the things having been written; for the time is near.

¹⁸ Here is wisdom: Let the one having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and its number is six hundred and sixty six.
