⁴⁹ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and to drink with the ones drinking,

¹³ And the custom of the priests with the people was : any man offering a sacrifice, (and the priest's servant came when the flesh was boiling, with the three-toothed hook in his hand), ¹⁴ even he stuck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the hook brought up, the priest took for himself. So they did to all Israel who came in there to Shiloh. ¹⁵ Yea, before they made the fat to smoke, then the priest's servant came in. And he said to the man who was sacrificing, Give meat to roast for the priest; and he will not take boiled meat from you, but raw. ¹⁶ And if the man said to him, Let the fat be made to smoke as the day, and then take as much as your soul desires; then he would say, No, but you shall give now. And if not, I will take it by force.

²⁹ Why do you kick at My sacrifice and at My offering which I commanded in My habitation? And why do you honor your sons above Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of My people?

¹² Come, and let me bring wine, and let us gulp down fermented drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, great, exceedingly abundant.

⁵ Hear the word of Jehovah, those who tremble at His word. Your brothers who hate you, who drive you out for My name's sake, have said, Jehovah is glorified. But He shall appear in your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

³ You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you sacrifice the fat ones, and you do not feed the flock.

⁵ So says Jehovah concerning the prophets who make My people err, who bite with their teeth and call out, Peace! And whoever does not give for their mouth, they even sanctify a war against him.

¹⁵ But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.

¹⁸ For such ones do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth speaking and flattering they deceive the hearts of those without guile.

²⁰ For you endure if anyone enslaves you, if anyone devours, if anyone takes away from you, if anyone exalts self, if anyone beats you in the face.

¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and who glory in their shame, those who mind earthly things.

¹¹ whose mouth you must stop, who overturn whole houses, teaching things which they ought not for the sake of ill gain. ¹² One of them, a prophet of their own, said: Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.

³ nor as exercising lordship over the ones allotted to you, but becoming examples of the flock.

¹³ being about to receive the wages of unrighteousness, having deemed indulgence in the day to be pleasure; spots and blemishes reveling in their deceits, feasting along with you, ¹⁴ having eyes full of an adulteress, and never ceasing from sin; alluring unsettled souls; having a heart busied with covetousness; cursed children;

⁹ I wrote to the church, but he loving to be first of them, Diotrephes, does not receive us. ¹⁰ Because of this, if I come, I will recall his works which he does, ranting against us with evil words. And not being satisfied with these, neither does he receive the brothers; and those intending it he prevents, and thrusts them out from the church.

¹² These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots;

⁷ And it was given to it "to war with the saints, and to overcome them." And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation. Dan. 7:21

⁶ since they poured out the blood of the saints and of the prophets; and You gave blood to them to drink, for they were deserving.

⁶ And I saw the woman being drunk from the blood of the saints, and from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marveled, seeing her with a great marveling.
