¹⁰ to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, having been conformed to His death,

²³ And He said to them, Indeed you shall drink My cup, and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized; but to sit off My right and off My left hand is not Mine to give, but to those for whom it was prepared by My Father.

²¹ For even as the Father raises the dead, and gives life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wills. ²² For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. ²⁵ Truly, truly, I say to you that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and the ones hearing will live. ²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself. ²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man. ²⁸ Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in the tombs will hear His voice. ²⁹ And they will come out, the ones having done good into a resurrection of life; and the ones having practiced evil into a resurrection of judgment.

¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I received this commandment from My Father.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live. ²⁶ And everyone living and believing into Me shall not ever die forever. Do you believe this?

³ And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

³¹ foreseeing, he spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, "that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption." LXX-Psa. 15:10; Mt-Psa. 16:10 ³² This Jesus God raised up, of which we all are witnesses. ³³ Then being exalted to the right of God, and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He poured out this which you now see and hear. ³⁴ For David did not ascend into Heaven, but he says, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand ³⁵ until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet." LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1 ³⁶ Then assuredly, let all the house of Israel acknowledge that God made Him both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus whom you crucified. ³⁷ And hearing, they were stabbed in the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men, brothers, What shall we do? ³⁸ And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, each of you on the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

³ Or are you ignorant that all who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? ⁴ Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, so also shall we be in the resurrection, ⁶ knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be nullified, so that we no longer serve sin. ⁷ For the one that died has been justified from sin. ⁸ But if we died with Christ, we believe that also we shall live with Him, ⁹ knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death no longer lords it over Him. ¹⁰ For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God. ¹¹ So also you count yourselves to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of the One having raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One having raised the Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies live through the indwelling of His Spirit in you.

¹⁷ And if children, also heirs; truly heirs of God, and joint-heirs of Christ, if indeed we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.

²⁹ because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers.

²¹ For since death is through man, also through a Man is a resurrection of the dead; ²² for as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. ²³ But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruit, afterward those of Christ at His coming.

⁵ Because the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

¹⁰ who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in whom we have hope that He will still deliver us,

¹⁰ always bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the body, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always being delivered up to death on account of Jesus, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh; ¹² so that death indeed works in us, and life in you. ¹³ But having the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak, LXX-Psa. 115:1; MT-Psa. 116:10

⁴ (for even if He was crucified out of weakness, yet He lives by the power of God). For even we are weak in Him, yet we shall live by the power of God toward you.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength ²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1 ²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age;

¹³ until we all may come to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

⁸ But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ

²⁴ who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf and fill up in my flesh the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His body, which is the church,

¹³ And you, being dead in the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all the offenses,

¹ If, then, you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is sitting at the right of God; Psa. 110:1

¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. ¹⁵ For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord not at all will go before those who have fallen asleep.

¹¹ Faithful is the Word: for if we died with Him, we also shall live with Him; ¹² if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, that One will deny us;

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

¹ Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin, ² for him no longer to live in the lusts of men, but to live the remaining time in the flesh in the will of God.

¹³ but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory. ¹⁴ If you are reviled in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because "the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you." Truly, according to them, He is blasphemed; but according to you, He is glorified. Isa. 11:2

³ And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commands.

⁵ But whoever keeps His word, truly in this one the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.
