⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,

²³ And every living thing which was on the face of the earth was wiped away, from man to cattle, and to the creeping things, and the fowl of the heavens. And they were wiped off from the earth, and only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.

³ You shall prepare the way for yourself, and shall divide into three parts the border of your land which Jehovah your God shall cause you to inherit, so that every manslayer may flee there. ⁴ And this is the case of the manslayer who shall flee there, that he may live: whoever strikes his neighbor unawares, and has not hated him yesterday and the day before;

²⁶ Cursed is he who does not rise to all the words of this law, to do them! And all the people shall say, Amen!

⁴⁶ When they sin against You (for there is not a man who does not sin) and You have been angry with them, and have given them up before an enemy, and they have been led away into captivity to the land of the enemy, far off or near;

²⁵ And Hezekiah did not return according to the benefit done to him, for his heart had been lifted up, and there was wrath on him and on Judah and Jerusalem.

³¹ Even so with the envoys of the rulers of Babylon, those sent to him to inquire of the wonder that had been in the land, God left him to test him, to know all his heart.

²⁸ I am afraid of all my sorrows; I know that You will not hold me innocent; ²⁹ I have been condemned; why should I labor in vain? ³⁰ If I wash myself with snow, and make my hands clean with soap, ³¹ yet You will plunge me into the ditch, and my own clothes would abhor me.

¹⁴ If I sin, then You watch me; and You will not acquit me from my guilt. ¹⁵ If I am wrong, woe to me! And if I am righteous, I will not lift up my head, being filled with shame and seeing my pain.

¹⁴ What is man that he should be clean? And he born of a woman, that he should be righteous? ¹⁵ Behold, He puts no trust in His holy ones; yea, the heavens are not clean in His eyes. ¹⁶ How much more is filthy man loathed, who drinks iniquity like water!

⁵ I have heard of You by hearing of the ear, but now my eye has seen You; ⁶ Therefore, I despise myself, and I have repented on dust and ashes.

³ they have all turned aside; together they have become filthy; there is none doing good; not even one!

¹² Who can discern errors? Acquit me from secret faults,

¹⁵ My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know the numbers. ¹⁶ I will come in the strength of the lord Jehovah; I will speak of Your righteousness, of Yours alone.

³ If You will keep iniquities, O Jehovah, O Lord, who shall stand? ⁴ But forgiveness is with You that You may be feared.

² and do not enter into judgment with Your servant; for not anyone living is just in Your sight.

²⁰ For there is not a just man on the earth who does good, and does not sin.

⁵ Then I said, Woe is me! For I am cut off; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

²⁴ He shall say, Only in Jehovah do I have righteousness and strength; to Him he comes; and they are ashamed, all who are angry with Him. ²⁵ In Jehovah all of the seed of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.

¹³ I bring near My righteousness; it shall not be far off, and My salvation shall not wait; I will place salvation in Zion, My glory for Israel.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

⁵ You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness; they recall You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned. In I them is eternity, we shall be saved. ⁶ But we are all as the unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as a menstruous cloth. And we all fade as a leaf, and like the wind our iniquities take us away.

⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

¹⁶ In those days Judah shall be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name that shall be called on her: JEHOVAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

¹³ But going, learn what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6

²⁵ And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, testing Him and saying, Teacher, What shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? ²⁶ And He said to him, What has been written in the Law? How do you read it ? ²⁷ And answering, he said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength," and with all your mind, and "your neighbor as yourself." Deut. 6:5; Lev. 19:18 ²⁸ And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this, and you shall live. ²⁹ But desiring to justify himself, he said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

⁸ And when that One comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment. ⁹ Concerning sin, because they do not believe into Me; ¹⁰ and concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father, and you no longer see Me; ¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

¹⁷ for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by" "faith." Hab. 2:4

¹⁹ But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God. ²⁰ Because by works of law not one of all flesh will be justified before Him, for through law is full knowledge of sin. Psa. 143:2 ²¹ But now a righteousness of God has been revealed apart from Law, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, ²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference,

⁵ But to the one not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. ⁶ Even as also David says of the blessedness of the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works:

¹³ For the promise was not through law to Abraham, or to his seed, for him to be the heir of the world, but through a righteousness of faith. ¹⁴ For if those of Law are heirs, faith has been made of no effect, and the promise has been destroyed. ¹⁵ For the law works out wrath; for where no law is, neither is transgression.

²¹ that as sin ruled in death, so also grace might rule through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

⁵ For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sin were working in our members through the law for the bearing of fruit unto death. ⁶ But now we have been set free from the law, having died to that in which we were held, so as for us to serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter. ⁷ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Let it not be! But I did not know sin except through law; for also I did not know lust except the law said, "You shall not lust." Ex. 20:17 ⁸ But sin taking occasion through the commandment worked every lust in me; for apart from law, sin is dead. ⁹ And I was alive apart from law once, but the commandment came, and sin came alive, and I died. ¹⁰ And the commandment which was to life, this was found to be death to me; ¹¹ for sin taking occasion through the commandment deceived me, and through it killed me . ¹² So indeed the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. ¹³ Then that which is good, has it become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, having worked out death to me through the good, in order that sin might become excessively sinful through the commandment.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to flesh, but according to Spirit.

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

³⁰ What then shall we say? That the nations not following after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith; ³¹ but Israel following after a law of righteousness did not arrive at a law of righteousness? ³² Why? Because it was not of faith, but as of works of Law. For they stumbled at the Stone-of-stumbling,

¹ Brothers, truly my heart's pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is for it to be saved. ² For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God. ⁴ For Christ is the end of law for righteousness to everyone that believes. ⁵ For Moses writes of the righteousness which is of the law: "The man doing these things shall live by them." Lev. 18:5 ⁶ But the righteousness of faith says this: "Do not say in your heart, Who will go up into Heaven?" (that is, to bring down Christ);

¹⁰ For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

⁷ Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow prisoners, noted among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

¹⁷ So that if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁶ knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but that it is through faith in Jesus Christ (we also believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of law, because all flesh will not be justified by works of law). Psa. 123:2

¹⁰ For as many as are out of works of law, these are under a curse. For it has been written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them." Deut. 27:26 ¹¹ And that no one is justified by law before God is clear because, "The just shall live by faith." Hab. 2:4 ¹² But the Law is not of faith, but, "The man doing these things shall live in them." Lev. 18:5 ¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23

²¹ Then is the Law against the promises of God? Let it not be! For if a law had been given which had been able to make alive, indeed righteousness would have been out of law. ²² But the Scripture locked up all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to the ones believing.

⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless.

⁹ He having saved us and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace given to us in Christ Jesus before eternal times,

⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁸ that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, those having fled to lay hold on the hope set before us,

⁹ But if you have partiality to persons, you work sin, having been found guilty as transgressors by the law. ¹⁰ For whoever shall keep all the law, but stumbles in one, he has become guilty of all. ¹¹ For He who said, "You shall not commit adultery," also said, "You shall not murder." Ex. 20:14, 13; Deut. 5:18, 17 But if you do not commit adultery, but commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

² For we all stumble in many ways . If any one does not stumble in word, this one is a mature man, able also to bridle the whole body.

¹⁹ in which also, going in to the spirits in prison, He then proclaimed ²⁰ to disobeying ones, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, an ark having been prepared in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

⁴ Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
