¹⁴ A king that truly judges the weak shall have his throne established forever.

¹¹ For the ear heard, and blessed me; and the eye saw, and witnessed for me. ¹² For I delivered the poor who cried for help and the orphan who had no helper to him. ¹³ The blessing of the perishing came on me; and I made the widow's heart to sing. ¹⁴ I put on righteousness and it clothed me; my judgment was like a robe and a diadem. ¹⁵ I was eyes to the blind, and feet for the lame. ¹⁶ I was father to the poor, and the cause which I did not know, I searched out. ¹⁷ I broke the fangs of the perverse, and cast the prey out of his teeth. ¹⁸ Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply days like the sand.

² Your people He shall judge in righteousness, and Your poor in justice. ³ The mountains will lift up peace to the people; and the little hills through righteousness. ⁴ He shall judge the poor of the people; and He shall save the sons of the needy; and He shall crush the oppressor.

¹² For He shall save the needy who cries, and the poor with no helper. ¹³ He shall have pity on the poor and needy; and He saves the souls of the needy ones. ¹⁴ He shall redeem their souls from oppression and violence; and their blood shall be precious in His eyes.

² Until when will you judge unjustly, and lift up the faces of the wicked? Selah. ³ Judge the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.

² For I have said, Mercy shall be built up forever; You shall establish Your faithfulness in the heavens.

¹² It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for the throne is made firm by righteousness.

²⁸ Mercy and truth preserve the king, and his throne is upheld by mercy.

⁵ Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne is established in righteousness.

¹⁶ The ruler that lacks understanding even adds oppressions, but he who hates unjust gain prolongs his days.

⁴ A king establishes a land by justice, but he taking bribes tears it down.

¹⁷ Learn to do good, seek justice, reprove the oppressor, judge the orphan, strive for the widow.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁴ But He shall judge the poor in righteousness, and shall decide rightly for the meek of the earth. And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.

²⁸ They have become fat; they shine. Yes, they pass over the deeds of the evil; they do not plead the cause, the cause of the orphan, that they may prosper. And they do not vindicate the right of the needy.

¹⁶ He judged the cause of the poor and needy, then it was well. Was this not to know Me, says Jehovah?

²⁷ So, O king, let my advice be pleasing to you: Even break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by pitying the poor, whether there will be duration to your prosperity.

³² This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. ³³ And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there will be no end.

⁸ but as to the Son, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom; ⁹ You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beside Your fellows." Psa. 45:6, 7
