In You, O Jehovah, I sought refuge; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness. ² Bow down Your ear to me; deliver me quickly, be a strong rock to me, for a house of fortresses to save me. ³ For You are my Rock and my Fortress; and for Your name's sake lead me and guide me. ⁴ Bring me out of the net that they hid for me, for You are my strength. ⁵ Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Jehovah, God of truth. ⁶ I have hated those keeping worthless idols; but I trust in Jehovah. ⁷ And I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy; for You have seen my affliction; You have known the distresses in my soul; ⁸ and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place. ⁹ Be gracious to me, O Jehovah, for I am in trouble; my eye has wasted away with grief, my soul and my belly. ¹⁰ For my life is ending with grief, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones have wasted away. ¹¹ I was a reproach among all my foes, but especially to my neighbors; and a fear to my friends, those who saw me outside fled from me. ¹² I am forgotten like one dead from the heart; I am like a perishing vessel. ¹³ For I have heard the slander of many; fear is all around; because of their plottings together against me, they planned to take away my life. ¹⁴ But I trusted in You, O Jehovah; I said, You are my God. ¹⁵ My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who pursue me. ¹⁶ Make Your face shine on Your servant; save me in Your mercy. ¹⁷ Let me not be ashamed, O Jehovah; for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed; let them be silent in Sheol. ¹⁸ Let the lying lips be silenced which speak recklessly against the righteous with pride and scorn. ¹⁹ How great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You; You have worked for those who trust in You before the sons of mankind. ²⁰ In the secrecy of Your presence You shall hide them from man's plots; You shall cover them in a booth, from the strife of tongues. ²¹ Blessed be Jehovah, for He has worked His mercy wondrously to me in a besieged city. ²² For I said in my haste, I am cut off from Your eyes; surely you heard the voice of my prayers when I cried to You. ²³ O love Jehovah, all you saints of His; Jehovah preserves the faithful, and abundantly repays the proud doer. ²⁴ Be strong, and He will make your heart stronger, all you who hope in Jehovah.

⁸ Jehovah will judge the people. O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity on me. ⁹ Oh let the evil of the wicked come to an end; and You will establish the just; for the righteous God is a trier of hearts and reins.

⁴ Our fathers trusted in You; they trusted, and You delivered them. ⁵ They cried to You, and were delivered; they trusted in You, and were not ashamed.

² O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.

¹ Judge me, O God, and strive for my cause against a nation not godly. Deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

¹ I put my trust in You, O Jehovah, let me not be put to shame forever. ² In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; bow down Your ear to me and save me. ³ Be a rock of strength for me, to which I may always go; You have given a command to save me; for You are my rock and my fortress.

¹ A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O Jehovah give ear to my supplications; answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness;

¹¹ O Jehovah, because of Your name, enliven me; in Your righteousness, bring my soul out of distress. ¹² And in Your mercy cut off my enemies; and destroy all those who afflict my soul; for I am Your servant.

²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nurses. They shall bow to you, faces down to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am Jehovah, by whom they who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.

¹⁶ O Lord, I pray to You, according to all Your righteousness, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. For because of our sins and of our fathers' iniquities, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all those around us.

⁵ And the hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us;

¹¹ For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame." Isa. 28:16

³¹ For their rock is not our Rock, even our enemies being judges.

³ My God is my rock; I shall take refuge in Him; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge! My Savior, You shall save me from violence.

²¹ And why do You not pardon my transgression, and make my iniquity pass away? For now I shall lie down in the dust, and You shall seek me; but I will not be.

¹ To the chief musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke the words of this song to Jehovah in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his foes, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: I love You, O Jehovah, my strength. ² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my Rock; I seek refuge in Him; He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy; the Lord will take thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay.

⁷ On God is my salvation and my glory; my strong rock, my refuge is in God.

¹⁷ And do not hide Your face from Your servant; for I am distressed; hear me quickly;

¹ A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance; they have defiled Your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

¹ A Prayer of David O Jehovah, bow down Your ear, answer me, for I am poor and needy.

¹ A Prayer of Moses, the Man of God. O Lord, You have been our dwelling-place in all generations.

⁹ Because You, O Jehovah, are My refuge; if you make the Most High your habitation,

²² But Jehovah is my tower of defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

² Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; bow down Your ear to me in the day I call; answer me quickly.

² Lord, hear my voice, and let Your ears attend to the voice of my prayers.

⁷ O Jehovah, answer me quickly; my spirit is failing; do not hide Your face from me lest I be like the ones who go down to the Pit.

¹⁷ Stretch your ear and hear the words of the wise, and set your heart to My knowledge,

¹⁶ He shall live on high; strongholds of rocks will be his retreat; his bread shall be given; his waters are faithful.

⁸ I say to you that He will carry out the avenging of them speedily. But the Son of man coming then, will He find faith on the earth?

⁵⁶ The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

¹² No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love having been perfected is in us.

¹⁵ Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. ¹⁶ And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God in him.

⁹ And the Canaanites, and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear, and shall come around against us, and shall cut off our name out of the earth. And what shall You do for Your great name?

¹² And You led them in the day by a cloudy pillar, and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way in which they should go.

¹⁹ Yet You in Your great mercies did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud did not depart from them by day to lead them in the way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way in which they should go.

² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my Rock; I seek refuge in Him; He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

² He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters; ³ He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

⁵ lead me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day long.

⁹ He will guide the meek in justice; and He will teach the meek His way.

¹¹ For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, even pardon my iniquity for it is great.

³ Oh send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me and bring me to the mount of Your holiness and to Your tabernacles.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the matter of the glory of Your name; and deliver us and atone for our sins, for Your name's sake.

²⁴ and see if any wicked way is in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.

¹⁰ Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of justice. ¹¹ O Jehovah, because of Your name, enliven me; in Your righteousness, bring my soul out of distress.

¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor thirst; and the heat and sun shall not strike them. For He who has mercy on them shall lead them; and He shall guide them by the springs of water.

⁷ O Jehovah, though our iniquities testify against us, act for Your name's sake; for our apostasies are many; we have sinned against You.

²¹ But I had pity for My holy name which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, there where they went. ²² Therefore, say to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but only for My holy name which you profaned among the nations, there where you went.

⁷⁹ to appear to those sitting in darkness and in shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. Isa. 9:2

¹³ But when that One comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will announce the coming things to you.

¹² for us to be to the praise of His glory, the ones who had previously trusted in Christ;

¹⁴ Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Jehovah, my Rock and my Redeemer.

¹⁵ My eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for He shall bring my feet out of the net.

⁷ For they have hidden their pit-net for me without cause; without cause they have dug for my soul.

⁶ They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down; they have dug a pit before me; they have fallen into it. Selah.

⁷ Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowlers' snare; the snare is broken, and we have escaped.

⁵ The proud have hidden cords and a trap for me; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set snares for me. Selah.

⁵ A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.

⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.

²⁶ and they may awake out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him, so as to do the will of that one.

¹⁶ The Angel that redeemed me from every evil, may He bless the youths; and may my name be called on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they like the fishes increase into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

⁴⁸ after he has been sold, there is a redemption to him; one of his brothers may redeem him,

⁴ He is the Rock; His work is perfect. For all His ways are just, a God of faithfulness, and without evil; just and upright is He.

²³ My lips shall shout for joy, for I will sing praise to You; also my soul which you have redeemed.

⁸ and He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

² Who knows why I have come, and no one is here ? I called, and not one answered. Is My hand truly cut short from ransom? Or is there not power in Me to deliver? Behold, at My rebuke I dry up the sea; I make rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because of no water, and die in thirst.

⁴⁶ And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, "into Your hands I commit My spirit." And saying this, He breathed out the spirit. Psa. 31:5

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen, invoking and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

¹² For which cause I also suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard my deposit until that Day.

¹³ if we are unfaithful, that One remains faithful; He is not able to deny Himself.

² on hope of eternal life which the God who does not lie promised before the eternal times,

¹⁴ who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all iniquity" "and purify" "a people" "for His own possession," zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2

¹⁸ that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, those having fled to lay hold on the hope set before us,

¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

²⁸ Give to Jehovah, O kindred of the people, give to Jehovah glory and strength. ²⁹ Give to Jehovah the glory of His name; bring an offering and come before Him; worship Jehovah in the adornment of holiness.

⁴ He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to guile, and has not sworn in deceit.

⁵ I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.

⁷ Give to Jehovah, O families of the people; give to Jehovah glory and might. ⁸ Give to Jehovah the glory due His name; bring an offering and come in to His courts. ⁹ Oh worship Jehovah in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.

² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off.

⁸ But they are at once foolish and animal like; their tree is an instruction of vanities.

¹⁵ They are vanity, the work of delusion. In the time of their judgment they shall perish.

⁸ Those who observe vanities of idolatry forsake their faithfulness;

⁸ And He said to them, Now draw out and carry to the master of the feast. And they carried it.

²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.

⁴ Then concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.

²⁰ But the things the nations sacrifice, " they sacrifice to demons, and not to God." Deut. 32:17 But I do not want you to become sharers of demons;

³² And now our God, the great, the mighty and the fearful God, keeping the covenant and the mercy, let it not seem little before You, all the trouble which has found us, to our kings, to our rulers, and to our priests, and to our prophets, and to our fathers, and to all Your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.

⁹ Remember, I beseech You, that You have formed me as clay; and will You bring me to dust again?

¹⁰ But He knows the way with me. When I am tried, I shall come forth as gold.

⁶ For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.

¹³ Be gracious to me, O Jehovah; see my affliction from my haters, be lifting me up from the gates of death,

¹⁴ You have seen, for You take note of mischief and vexation, to repay with Your hand. The poor leaves himself to You; You are the helper of the orphan.

⁵ But I have trusted in Your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

¹⁸ Look on my affliction and my pain, and lift up all my sins.

²⁰ Who has shown me great and evil distresses; You will turn me; You will make me live; and You will bring me up from the depths of the earth.

¹⁴ O satisfy us in the morning with Your mercy, and we will be glad and rejoice all our days.

¹⁵³ Resh. Look on my affliction and deliver me; for I do not forget Your law.

³ When my spirit faints within me, then You know my path; they have hidden a snare for me in the path in which I walk.

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle on you.

¹³ Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; break out into singing, O mountains. For Jehovah has comforted His people and will have pity on His afflicted.

⁹ In all their affliction, He was not a foe; and the Angel of his Face saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed them. And He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

¹⁶ For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us; You, Jehovah, are our Father, our Redeemer; Your name is from everlasting.

¹¹ the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of those saying, Praise Jehovah of Hosts, for Jehovah is good, for His mercy endures forever; those who shall bring the sacrifice of thanksgiving into the house of Jehovah. For I will bring back the captivity of the land, as at the first, says Jehovah.

⁵⁰ until Jehovah shall look down and see from Heaven.

¹ O Jehovah, remember what has been to us; look upon and see our shame.

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. ²⁸ And I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish to the age, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of My Father's hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one!

³ But if anyone loves God, he has been known by Him.

⁹ But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew?

¹⁹ However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, " The Lord knew those being His;" Num. 16:5, also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

³⁰ How could one chase a thousand, and two put a myriad to flight, if it were not their Rock that sold them, and Jehovah had shut them up?

⁴⁶ Today Jehovah shall shut you up into my hand, and I shall strike you, and take off your head from you and give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the earth today. And all the earth shall know that there is a God for Israel.

¹⁸ And you have today shown that you have dealt well with me, in that Jehovah shut me up into your hand, and you did not kill me.

⁸ And Abishai said to David, God has shut up your enemy into your hand today. And now, I beg you, let me strike him with a spear, even to the earth one time, and I will not repeat it to him.

¹¹ God has delivered me to the perverse; and He has turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

¹⁶ And He also would have lured you from the mouth of distress to a wide place not cramped under; and the setting of your table would be full of fatness.

¹ To the chief musician, for stringed instruments, A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You gave room to me in distress. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

¹⁹ And He brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me;

⁸ You have taken my friends away from me; You have made me a hateful thing to them; I am shut up, I will not go out.

⁴ And I will shut up the Egyptians into the hand of cruel lords; and a fierce king shall rule them, declares the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts.

⁷ And my eye is dim from grief; and all my members are like a shadow.

¹⁹ He is also chastened with pain on his bed, and enduring strife in his bones; ²⁰ so that his life loathes bread, and his soul desirable food. ²¹ His flesh wastes away from his sight; and his hones laid bare, they were not seen. ²² Yea, his soul draws near to the Pit, and his life to the dealers of death.

¹ To the chief musician, for eight-stringed instruments. A Psalm of David O Jehovah, do not rebuke me in Your anger; nor chasten me in the heat of Your fury; ² have mercy on me, O Jehovah, for I am weak; heal me, O Jehovah, for my bones are troubled.

⁷ My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my vexers.

¹⁴ I am poured out like waters, and all My bones are spread apart; My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels. ¹⁵ My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue clings to My jaws;

¹ A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O Jehovah, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, and do not chasten me in Your fury. ² For Your arrows sink in me, and Your hand presses heavily on me. ³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; nor peace in my bones because of my sin. ⁴ For my iniquities have passed over my head, as a heavy burden too heavy for me. ⁵ My wounds have putrefied and rotted, because of my foolishness. ⁶ I am bent down, I am bowed down exceedingly; I went mourning all the day long. ⁷ For my loins are filled with a burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh. ⁸ I am exceedingly benumbed and crushed. I howl from the groanings of my heart. ⁹ My Lord, all my desire is before You, and my sighing is not hidden from You. ¹⁰ My heart throbs; my power forsakes me! And the light of my eyes, they also are not with me.

²⁵ For our soul bows down to the dust; our belly holds fast to the earth.

¹⁴ which my lips have opened, and my mouth has spoken in my trouble.

¹⁴ For all the day long I was touched; and my chastening is at the mornings.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart waste away; God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

³ For my soul is full with evils, and my life touches Sheol. ⁴ I am counted with those who go down to the Pit; I have been like a feeble man, ⁵ free among the dead, as pierced ones lying in the grave, whom You remember no more; yea by Your hand they are cut off.

⁹ My eye mourns because of affliction; O Jehovah, I have called on You every day; I have spread out my hands to You.

³ For my days are finished in smoke, and my bones glow like a firebrand. ⁴ My heart is stricken and dried like grass, so that I forget to eat my bread. ⁵ Because of the voice of my sighing, my bones cleave to my flesh.

¹⁰ Those who live in the darkness, and in the shadow of death, being prisoners in affliction and iron,

¹⁷ While we are, our eyes fail for our vain help. In our watching, we have watched for a nation; it does not save.

¹⁷ For this our heart is faint; our eyes are dim for these things .

²⁴ For my sighing comes before my food; and my groanings are poured out like the waters.

² Until when shall I set counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? Until when shall my enemy be lifted up over me?

³ When I kept silence, then my bones became old, through my howling all day. ⁴ For by day and by night Your hand was heavy on me; my sap was turned into the droughts of summer. Selah.

³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; nor peace in my bones because of my sin.

¹¹ You correct a man with rebukes over perversity; and as a moth You consume what he desires. Surely every man is vanity. Selah.

⁹ Do not cast me off now at the time of my old age. Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

³³ and He ended their days in vanity, and their years in sudden terror.

¹⁵ I am afflicted and dying from childhood; I suffer Your terrors; I am distracted.

³ For my days are finished in smoke, and my bones glow like a firebrand. ⁴ My heart is stricken and dried like grass, so that I forget to eat my bread. ⁵ Because of the voice of my sighing, my bones cleave to my flesh. ⁶ I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl of the desert. ⁷ I watch and am like a sparrow alone on the housetop. ⁸ My enemies curse me all the day long; those who rave against me have sworn against me. ⁹ For I have eaten ashes like bread, and have mixed my drink with weeping; ¹⁰ because of Your anger and Your wrath; for You have lifted me and cast me down. ¹¹ My days are like a shadow stretched out, and I wither like grass. ¹² But You, O Jehovah, shall dwell forever, and Your memory to generation and generation. ¹³ You shall arise; have mercy on Zion; for the time to pity her, yea, the appointed time has come. ¹⁴ For Your servants take pleasure in its stones, and pity its dust. ¹⁵ So nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. ¹⁶ When Jehovah shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory. ¹⁷ He will turn to the prayer of the destitute, and will not despise their prayer. ¹⁸ This shall be written for the generation to come; and people to be created shall praise Jehovah. ¹⁹ For He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary; Jehovah looked from Heaven to the earth; ²⁰ To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free the sons of death; ²¹ to declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem; ²² when the peoples and the kingdoms are gathered together to serve Jehovah. ²³ He diminished my strength in the way; He shortened my days. ²⁴ I said, O my God, do not take me up in the half of my days; Your years are through the generation of generations. ²⁵ You have laid the foundation of the earth of old; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; You shall change them like clothing, and they shall be changed. ²⁷ But You are He, and Your years shall not be ended. ²⁸ The sons of Your servants shall dwell; and their seed shall be established before You.

² that my grief is great, and a never ceasing pain is in my heart,

²¹ Surely now you have become like it; you see my dismay, and are afraid. ²² Did I indeed say, Give to me? Or, offer a bribe for me from your wealth? ²³ Or, Deliver me from a foe's hand? Or, Redeem me from the oppressors hand?

¹³ He has put my brothers from me; and my knowers are truly alienated from me. ¹⁴ My near ones have fallen away, and my friends have forgotten me.

⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of mankind, and despised by the people.

¹¹ My lovers and my friends stand apart from my stroke, and my neighbors have stood far off.

⁸ saying, A thing of ruin is poured out on him; and, He who lies down shall not rise again. ⁹ Even a man desiring my welfare, I trusted in him, eating of my bread; this one has lifted up his heel against me.

⁸ So they shall be confounded; their tongue falls upon themselves; everyone seeing them shall flee.

¹⁹ You know my reproach and my shame, and my dishonor; my enemies are all before You. ²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart, and I am faint; and I waited for one to show pity, but there was no one; and for comforters, but I found none.

¹⁸ You have taken lover and friend far from me, he who knows me, into darkness.

⁵⁰ Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, my bearing in my bosom the insults of the many peoples; ⁵¹ with which Your enemies have cursed, O Jehovah; with which they have cursed the footsteps of Your anointed.

⁷ So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to the despised of soul, to the hated of the nation, the servant of rulers, Kings shall see and rise up; and chiefs shall worship; because of Jehovah who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel; and He chose You.

³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him. ⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed.

⁶ For even your brothers and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; even they have fully called after you. Do not believe them, though they speak good things to you.

⁶ for a son despises his father; a daughter rises up against her mother; the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his house.

²¹ But brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child. And children will rise up against parents and will put them to death. ²² And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.

⁵⁶ But all this is happening that the Scriptures of the prophets may be fulfilled. Then all the disciples ran away, forsaking Him.

⁷⁴ Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man. And immediately a cock crowed.

³⁹ But those passing by, blasphemed Him, shaking their heads, ⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross. ⁴¹ And in the same way, the chief priests with the scribes and elders, mocking, said, ⁴² He saved others; he is not able to save himself. If he is the king of Israel, let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe him. ⁴³ He trusted on God. Let Him rescue him now, if He desires him. For he said, I am Son of God. ⁴⁴ And also the robbers crucified with Him reviled Him, saying the same.

⁵⁰ And leaving Him, all fled.

³ For also Christ did not please Himself, but even as it has been written, "The curses of those cursing You fell on Me." LXX-Psa. 68:10; MT-Psa. 69:9

¹⁶ In my first defense no one was beside me, but all deserted me. May it not be reckoned to them.

³⁶ And others received trial of mockings and of floggings; yea, more, of bonds and of prison:

¹³ So let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach.

¹⁴ If you are reviled in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because "the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you." Truly, according to them, He is blasphemed; but according to you, He is glorified. Isa. 11:2

⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

⁸³ For I am like a wineskin in the smoke; I do not forget Your statutes.

¹⁴ And its smashing is as the smashing of a potter's vessel; when broken in pieces, he has no pity; for in its breaking there is not found a shard to carry fire from the hearth, nor to skim water from a well.

¹¹ I said, I shall not see Jah Jehovah in the land of the living; I shall no longer look on man with the world's inhabitants. ¹² My generation is plucked up and carried away from me, like a shepherd's tent; I have cut off my life like the weaver. He will cut me off from the loom; from day to night You will make an end of me.

²¹ Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the one lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor? Jer. 18:6 ²² But if God, desiring to show forth wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,

²⁷ and "he will shepherd them with an iron staff" (they are "broken to pieces like clay vessels"), as I also have received from My Father. Psa. 2:8, 9

¹⁰ And Saul tried to strike with the spear through David and through the wall. But he burst forth from Saul's presence. And he struck the spear through the wall. And David fled, and escaped during that night. ¹¹ And Saul sent messengers to David's house to watch him, and to kill him in the morning. And his wife Michal told David, saying, If you do not escape with your life tonight, tomorrow you will be killed. ¹² And Michal made David go down through the window. And he went, and fled, and escaped. ¹³ And Michal took an image and laid it on the bed; and she put the quilt of goat's hair at his head-place, and covered with a spread. ¹⁴ And Saul sent messengers to take David. And she said, He is sick. ¹⁵ And Saul sent the messengers to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, to kill him. ¹⁶ And the messengers came in. And, behold, the image was on the bed, and the quilt of goat's hair was at his head-place. ¹⁷ And Saul said to Michal, Why have you deceived me this way, that you have sent away my enemy, and he has escaped? And Michal said to Saul, He said to me, Send me away; why should I kill you?

³³ And Saul threw the spear at him, to strike him. And Jonathan knew that it had been determined by his father to kill David.

⁸ that all of you have conspired against me, and no one was revealing in my ear when my son cut a covenant with the son of Jesse? And not one of you is sorry for me, even to reveal in my ear that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day. ⁹ And Doeg the Edomite, even he was set over Saul's servants, answered and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub. ¹⁰ And he asked for him of Jehovah, and gave provisions to him, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.

¹⁹ And the men of Ziph went to Saul, to Gibeah, saying, Is not David hiding himself with us in strongholds, in the forest, in the hill of Hachilah, which is south of the wilderness? ²⁰ And now, come down according to all the desires of your soul, O king. Come down, and our duty is to deliver him up into the king's hand.

⁹ And David said to Saul, Why do you listen to the words of man, saying, Behold, David seeks to do you evil?

¹ And Ahithophel said to Absalom, Please let me choose twelve thousand men, and I shall rise up and pursue David tonight. ² And I shall come on him, and he shall be weary and feeble handed. And I will make him tremble, and the people with him shall flee. And I shall strike the king by himself. ³ And I shall bring all the people back to you when all return, except the man whom you are seeking. All the people shall be in peace. ⁴ And the thing was pleasing in Absalom's eyes, and in the eyes of all the elders of Israel.

¹⁰ They go around her on her walls by day and night; and trouble and mischief are in her midst.

¹ To the chief musician. Concerning the silent dove, those far off. Of David, a secret treasure (when the Philistines seized him in Gath). Favor me, O God, for man snuffs me up; all the day fighting oppresses me. ² My watchers panted for me all the day; for many are proudly fighting against me. ³ The day I am afraid, I will trust in You.

⁴ My soul is among lions; I lie among those on fire, the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

⁵ Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, I will cut him off; I will not endure him who has high eyes and a proud heart.

²⁵ Do not go out into the field or walk by the way, because of the sword of the enemy and terror from every side.

¹⁹ And I was like a docile lamb being brought to the slaughter; and I did not know that they had plotted schemes against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with its fruit; and let us cut him off from the land of the living so that his name may be remembered no more.

³ And it was on the next day that Pashur released Jeremiah from the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, Jehovah has not called your name Pashur, but Terror from All Around. ⁴ For so says Jehovah, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. And they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall exile them into Babylon and kill them with the sword.

¹⁰ For I heard the slanders of many, Terror is all around! Expose! Yea, let us expose him! Every man of my peace watched for my fall, saying, Perhaps he will be lured away, and we shall prevail against him; and we shall take revenge on him.

²² You have called my terrors all around, as in a day of appointment; and there was not an escaped one or a survivor in the day of the anger of Jehovah. Those whom I have nursed and multiplied, my enemy has consumed.

³ Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas. ⁴ And they plotted together in order that they might seize Jesus by guile and kill Him .

⁵⁹ And the chief priests and the elders and the whole sanhedrin looked for false testimony against Jesus, so that they might put Him to death,

¹ And it becoming early morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel together against Jesus, so as to put Him to death.

¹ And rising up, all the multitude of them led Him before Pilate. ² And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this one perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be a king, Christ.

⁵ But they insisted, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to here.

¹ A Secret Treasure of David. Watch over me, O God, for I take refuge in You. ² Oh my soul you have said to Jehovah, You are my Lord; My goodness is nothing apart from You.

¹ To the Chief Musician, on the deer of the dawn. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, and are far from my deliverance, from the words of my groaning? ² O my God, I cry by day, but You do not answer; and in the night, and there is no silence to me.

⁵ Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I will still thank Him, the salvations of my face, and my God.

³ The day I am afraid, I will trust in You. ⁴ In God I will praise His word; in God I have trusted; I will not fear; what will flesh do to me?

¹ A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I earnestly seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and weary land without water.

¹² O God, do not be far from me; Oh my God come quickly to help me.

²² I will also thank You with a harp, O my God; I will sing Your truth; I will sing to You with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

⁶ I said to Jehovah, You are my God; O Jehovah, hear the voice of my prayers.

³⁹ And going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will .

⁴² Again, going away a second time, He prayed, saying, My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me without My drinking it, let Your will be done.

⁴⁶ And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani; that is, "My God, My God, why did You forsake Me?" Psa. 22:1

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God.

¹⁰ And David said, As Jehovah lives, except Jehovah strike him, or his day shall come and he dies, or he goes down and is devoured in battle,

¹² When your days are fulfilled, and you lie with your fathers, then I shall raise up your seed after you, who shall come out from your bowels, and I shall establish his kingdom.

¹ Why since times are not hidden from the Almighty, even those knowing Him do not see His days?

⁸ Keep me as the pupil, the daughter of the eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings, ⁹ from the face of the wicked who stripped me; against my soul, my enemies go all around me.

¹³ Arise, O Jehovah, go before his face and bow him down! Deliver my soul from the wicked, by Your sword,

¹⁰ For my enemies speak against me; and those who lurk for my soul plot together. ¹¹ And they say, God has forsaken him; pursue him and take him, for there is no one to deliver. ¹² O God, do not be far from me; Oh my God come quickly to help me.

¹⁵ Precious in the eyes of Jehovah is the death of His saints.

⁶ Attend to my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from those who pursue me; for they are stronger than I.

³ For the enemy has pursued my soul; he has beaten my life to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness like the dead of old.

⁹ O Jehovah, deliver me from my enemies; to You I have hidden.

¹² And in Your mercy cut off my enemies; and destroy all those who afflict my soul; for I am Your servant.

¹ To all there is an appointed time, even a time for every purpose under the heavens: ² a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pull up what is planted; ³ a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build up; ⁴ a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; ⁵ a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ⁶ a time to seek, and a time to give up as lost; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; ⁷ a time to tear, and a time to sew together; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; ⁸ a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

²⁰ And I will make you a fortified wall of bronze to this people. And they shall fight against you, but they shall not overcome you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says Jehovah. ²¹ And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the evil ones.

⁵¹ And it happened in the fulfilling of the days of His taking up, even He set His face to go to Jerusalem.

⁶ Then Jesus said to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready.

³⁰ Then they sought to seize Him; yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

²⁷ And My soul is troubled, and what may I say? Father, save Me out of this hour? But on this account I came to this hour.

¹ And before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should move from this world to the Father, loving His own in the world, He loved them to the end.

¹ Jesus spoke these things and lifted up His eyes to Heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You,

⁷ And He said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons which the Father placed in His own authority;

¹¹ And coming to him in the following night the Lord said, Be cheered, Paul, for as you fully testified the things concerning Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify at Rome.

²⁴ saying, Do not fear, Paul, You must stand before Caesar. And, behold, God has granted to you all those sailing with you.

⁶ For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is here.

¹⁴ knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle is soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

²⁵ Jehovah cause His face to shine on you, and be gracious to you; ²⁶ Jehovah lift up His face to you, and give you peace.

⁶ Many are saying, Who will show us any good? O Jehovah, lift up the light of Your face on us.

⁴ O Jehovah, return, deliver my soul; save me for Your mercy's sake.

⁷ O Jehovah, in Your favor You have made my strong mountain to stand You hid Your face; I was troubled;

¹ To the chief musician, A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies; blot out my transgressions.

⁴⁵ He remembered His covenant for them, and breathed a sigh, according to His many mercies.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him.

¹⁷ And now, hear, O our God, the prayer of Your servant and his holy desires, and cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the sake of the Lord. ¹⁸ O my God, bow down Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our ruins and the city which is called by Your name. For we do not present our prayers before You on account of our righteousnesses, but because of Your great mercies.

¹⁵ For He said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I will pity." Ex. 33:19

²³ and that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved, ⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved), ⁶ and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, ⁷ that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding great riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

⁹ He keeps the feet of His saints, and the wicked are silenced in darkness; for man does not become mighty by power.

¹⁰ Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back, ashamed in a moment.

² O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me. ³ Yea, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those who vainly sin be ashamed.

⁵ They looked to Him and were filled with light; and their faces were not ashamed.

⁴ Let those who seek my soul be ashamed and disgraced; let them be turned back and brought to confusion, those who plot evil to me.

²⁶ Let them be ashamed and be confounded together, the ones who rejoice at my evil; let them be clothed with shame and dishonor, the ones who magnify themselves against me.

¹⁴ Let be ashamed and humbled together those seeking my soul, to destroy it; let those delighting in my evil be driven back and disgraced. ¹⁵ Let them be desolate until it is the reward for their shame; for they are saying to me, Aha! Aha!

⁶ O Jehovah of hosts, do not let those who wait on You be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel. ⁷ Because I suffered reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

² Let those who seek after my soul be ashamed and turned pale; let them be turned backward and shamed, those who desire my evil. ³ Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame, those who say, Aha, aha!

²⁴ And my tongue shall muse on Your righteousness all the day; because those seeking my evil are disgraced; they are put to shame.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame and they will seek Your name, O Jehovah. ¹⁷ Let them be ashamed and terrified for ever; yea, let them be confounded and perish.

¹⁷ Unless Jehovah had been my help, my soul would almost have dwelt in silence.

¹⁷ The dead do not praise Jehovah, nor all those who go down into silence;

¹¹ Behold, all who were provoked with you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and they who fight with you Shall perish. ¹² You shall seek them and shall not find them; men of your strife shall be as nothing, even men of your battle as ceasing.

¹⁶ They shall be ashamed, and also are disgraced, all of them. Together they go into disgrace, carvers of images. ¹⁷ Israel is saved in Jehovah with everlasting salvation. You shall not be ashamed nor disgraced to the forevers of eternity.

⁶ I gave My back to strikers, and My cheeks to pluckers; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. ⁷ And the Lord Jehovah will help Me. On account of this I was not ashamed. On account of this I set My face like flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

¹³ So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty. Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed. ¹⁴ Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry from heartbreak, and howl from breaking of spirit.

¹¹ But Jehovah is with me like a mighty, awesome one. On account of this my persecutors shall stumble and will not prevail. And they shall be greatly ashamed. For they have not acted wisely; they are an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.

² And many of those sleeping in the earth's dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.

²⁶ And you shall eat fully and be satisfied; and you shall praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall not be ashamed forever. ²⁷ And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is no other. And My people shall not be ashamed forever.

¹² And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here, not having a wedding garment? But he was speechless. ¹³ Then the king said to the servants, Binding his feet and hands, take him away and throw him out into the outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

³ Do not multiply your haughty words; let not arrogance go out from your mouth; for Jehovah is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.

¹⁶ And again his servants spoke against Jehovah God, and against His servant Hezekiah.

³ Jehovah shall cut off all with flattering lips and the tongue that speaks great things;

¹² For the sin of their mouth is the word of their lips, even let them be captured in their pride, and for cursing and the lying which they utter.

¹¹ But the king shall rejoice in God; everyone who swears by Him shall glory, because the mouth of the one speaking a lie will be stopped.

³ who sharpen their tongue like a sword; they tread their arrows, a bitter word, ⁴ so that they may shoot at the innocent from a lurking place; suddenly they shoot at him, and fear not.

⁴ They gush, they speak impudent things; all the workers of evil speak proudly.

² O Jehovah, deliver my soul from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

³ Be gracious to us, O Jehovah; be gracious to us! For we are exceedingly filled with scorn. ⁴ Our soul is exceedingly filled for itself with the contempt of those who are at ease, the scorn of the proud.

⁹ As for the leaders of those around me, let the evil of their own lips cover them. ¹⁰ Let burning coals fall on them; let them fall on coals of fire; make them fall into deep pits so that they do not rise again. ¹¹ Do not let a man of tongue be established in the earth; evil shall hunt the violent man, thrust upon thrust.

¹⁹ The lips of truth are established forever, but a lying tongue is only while I wink.

²² this is the word Jehovah has spoken about him: The virgin, the daughter of Zion, has despised you, laughing you to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken the head behind you. ²³ Whom have you mocked and reviled? And against whom have you lifted your voice, and lifted your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel! ²⁴ By your servants, you have mocked the Lord, and said, By my many chariots I have come up to the tops of mountains, the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down its tall cedars, its choice fir trees; and I will go to its greatest height, the forest of its fruitful field.

¹⁷ Every weapon formed against you shall not prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.

²⁵ It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?

²⁴ But hearing, the Pharisees said, This one does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, ruler of the demons.

⁴⁴ You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, because he is a liar, and the father of it.

⁴⁸ Then the Jews answered and said to Him, Do we not say well that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?

⁷ And he having arrived, the Jews coming down from Jerusalem stood around, also bringing many weighty charges against Paul, which they were not able to prove.

¹⁵ "to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all" the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which :they ungodly" did, "and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him." I Enoch 1:9; 5:4; 60:8

⁸ But for the cowardly and unbelieving, and those having become foul, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the lying ones, their part will be in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

¹⁵ But outside are the dogs and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone loving a lie, and making it.

²³ For there is not a spell against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. Now it is said of Jacob and Israel, See what God has done!

¹¹ You will make Me know the way of life. In Your presence is fullness of joys; at Your right hand are pleasures forever.

⁵ You prepare a table for me before my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

⁷ How precious is Your mercy, O God! And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. ⁸ They shall be satisfied from the abundance of Your house; and You make them drink the torrent of Your pleasures. ⁹ For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. ¹⁰ O continue Your mercy to the ones knowing You, and Your righteousness to the upright of heart.

²⁸ Your God has commanded your strength; O God, be strong, in this that You have worked out for us.

¹ A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are of a pure heart.

²⁴ You shall guide me by Your counsel; and afterward You will take me to glory. ²⁵ Whom have I in Heaven? And I have no desire on earth besides You. ²⁶ My flesh and my heart waste away; God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

² Then our mouth was full of laughter, and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, Jehovah will work great things with these. ³ Jehovah did great things to work with us; we are glad.

⁷ They shall express the memory of Your great goodness, and they shall sing of Your righteousness. ⁸ Jehovah is gracious and merciful, long to anger and of great mercy; ⁹ Jehovah is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.

¹² Jehovah, You will ordain peace for us; for also You have worked all our works for us.

¹⁰ And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return and enter Zion, with singing and everlasting joy on their head; gladness and joy shall reach them; and sorrow and sighing shall flee.

⁴ And from forever they have not heard; they did not give ear. Eye has not seen a God except You, who works for him who waits for Him.

²³ They are new by mornings; great is Your faithfulness. ²⁴ Jehovah is my portion, says my soul. On account of this I shall hope to Him. ²⁵ Jehovah is good to those waiting on Him, to the soul seeking Him.

²¹ But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

¹² And all the multitude kept silent and were hearing Barnabas and Paul recounting what things God did through them among the nations, even the signs and wonders.

²² Behold, then, the kindness and severity of God: On those having fallen, severity. But on you, kindness, if you continue in the kindness. Otherwise, you will also be cut off.

⁹ according as it has been written, "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard," nor has it risen up into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love Him. Isa. 64:4

⁵ And He having worked in us for this same thing is God, who also is giving us the earnest of the Spirit.

² mind the things above, not the things on the earth, ³ For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ Whenever Christ our life is revealed, then also you will be revealed with Him in glory.

³⁴ For also you suffered together in my bonds; and you accepted the seizure of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Heaven.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

⁴ to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and unfading, having been kept in Heaven for you ⁵ by the power of God, having been guarded through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;

¹ See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. ² Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

¹¹ Now I know that Jehovah is greater than all the gods; truly, in the way in which they were proved against them.

²¹ You shall be hidden from the whip of the tongue; and you shall not be afraid of violence when it comes.

² The wicked in his pride will pursue the poor; they will be caught in the schemes which they have devised.

⁵ For in the day of evil He shall hide me in His shelter; in the secrecy of His tabernacle, He shall hide me; He shall set me up on a rock.

⁷ You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

¹¹ Do not let the foot of pride come to me; and let not the hand of the wicked move me.

⁴ Blessed is the man who sets Jehovah as his trust, and does not turn to the proud, or to those who turn to a lie.

² Hide me from the council of those who injure, from the tumult of evildoers,

¹⁴ O God, the proud have risen against me; and the troop of the violent have sought after my life, and have not set You before their eyes.

¹ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shade of the Almighty. ² I will say to Jehovah: My Refuge and my Fortress, my God; I will trust in Him. ³ For He delivers you from the fowler's trap, from destruction's plague. ⁴ With His feathers He will cover you, and under His wings you shall seek refuge; His truth is a shield and buckler.

⁵ then the raging waters would have passed over our soul.

³ They sharpen their tongues like a snake; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

¹³ Let us walk becomingly, as in the day, not in carousings and drunkennesses, not in co-habitation and lustful acts, not in fighting and envy.

²⁰ For I fear lest somehow coming I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, rivalries, evil speakings, whisperings, proud thoughts, disturbances;

²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

⁴ he has been puffed up, understanding nothing, but is sick concerning doubts and arguments, out of which comes envy, strife, evil-speakings, evil suspicions,

⁵ So also the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how little a fire kindles how large a forest! ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, the world of iniquity. So the tongue is set among our members, spotting all the body, and inflaming the course of nature, and having been inflamed by Hell.

¹⁴ But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. ¹⁵ This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, beastly, devilish. ¹⁶ For where jealousy and contention are, there is confusion and every foul deed.

⁶ But He gives greater grace. Because of this it says, "God sets Himself against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones." Prov. 3:34

⁷ And it was told to Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, God has estranged him into my hand. For he is shut in, to enter into a city of gates and a bar. ⁸ And Saul heard and called all the people to battle, to go down to Keilah, to lay siege to David and to his men. ⁹ But David knew that Saul was devising evil against him. And he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring the ephod near. ¹⁰ And David said, O Jehovah the God of Israel, Your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city because of me. ¹¹ Will the masters of Keilah shut me up into his hand? Will Saul come down as Your servant has heard? I pray You, Jehovah the God of Israel, tell your servant. And Jehovah said, He will come down. ¹² And David said, Will the masters of Keilah shut me and my men up into Saul's hand? And Jehovah said, They will shut you up. ¹³ And David and his men, about six hundred men, rose up and left Keilah, and went wherever they could go. And it was told to Saul that David had escaped from Keilah. And he ceased to go out.

⁷ Set out your wonderful loving-kindness by Your right hand, O Savior of those who trust in You, from those rising against them .

¹ A Psalm. O sing to Jehovah a new song, for He has done wondrous things; His right hand and His holy arm has saved Him.

²³ This is from Jehovah, it is marvelous in our eyes.

¹⁸ For, behold, today I have made you a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against her princes, against her priests, and to the people of the land.

⁹ But you are "an elect race," "a royal priesthood," "a holy nation," "a people for possession," so that "you may openly speak of the virtues" of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; LXX-Ex. 23:22; MT-Ex. 19:5, 6

²⁶ And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain. And David was hurrying to go away from the face of Saul. And Saul and his men were encircling David and his men, to catch them.

¹ And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul. Nothing is better for me than that I speedily escape to the land of the Philistines. And Saul will despair of me, to still seek me in all the border of Israel. And I shall escape out of his hand.

¹¹ And Jehovah brought against them the king of Assyria's army commanders, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, and bound him with bronze fetters, and made him go to Babylon. ¹² And when he was afflicted, he sought the face of Jehovah his God, and was humbled exceedingly before the face of the God of his fathers; ¹³ and prayed to Him, and He was entreated of him and heard his supplication, and returned him to Jerusalem to his kingdom; and Manasseh knew that Jehovah, He is God.

¹⁴ How much less when you say you do not see Him! Judgment is before Him, and you are waiting for Him.

⁹ Jehovah has heard my plea; Jehovah will receive my prayer.

¹⁷ Let me not be ashamed, O Jehovah; for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed; let them be silent in Sheol.

¹⁶ Your fierce wrath goes over me; Your terrors have cut me off.

¹¹ I said in my alarm, All men are liars.

⁵ Then I said, Woe is me! For I am cut off; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

¹⁰ I said in the pause of my days, I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the rest of my years.

¹⁴ But Zion said, Jehovah has forsaken me, and, My Lord has forgotten me.

⁵⁴ Waters flowed over on my head; I said, I am cut off. ⁵⁵ I called on Your name, O Jehovah, from the lowest pit.

¹¹ Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is perished; we are cut off to ourselves.

⁴ And I said, I am cast off from Your eyes; yet I will again look to Your holy temple.

⁷ When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; and my prayer came to You, to Your holy temple. ⁸ Those who observe vanities of idolatry forsake their faithfulness; ⁹ but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will fulfill that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Jehovah!

⁷ who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to Him being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;

¹² And now, Israel, what has Jehovah your God asked of you, except to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul;

¹⁶ in that I am commanding you today to love Jehovah your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands and His statutes, and His judgments, and you shall live and multiply, and Jehovah your God shall bless you in the land where you are going in, to possess it.

⁴¹ If I have sharpened My glittering sword, and My hand lays hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My foes, and I will repay those who hate Me.

³ Yes, He loves the peoples; all His holy ones are in Your hand; and they sit down at Your feet; He lifts up each at Your words.

⁴ Sing praises to Jehovah, O saints of His; and give thanks to the memory of His holiness.

⁹ Fear Jehovah, His holy ones, for they who fear Him lack nothing.

⁵ He shall reward evil to my enemies; cut them off in Your truth.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the congregation of the saints, and to be adored by all around Him.

² Lift up Yourself, O judge of the earth; give a just repayment on the proud.

¹⁰ You who love Jehovah, hate evil. He keeps the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹⁰ All Your works shall thank You, O Jehovah; and Your saints shall bless You.

²⁰ Jehovah watches over all who love Him; but He destroys all the wicked.

⁶ And the sons of the alien who join themselves on Jehovah to serve Him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be His servants, everyone who keeps from defiling the sabbath, and takes hold of My covenant:

²³ Then in the resurrection, when they rise again, of which of them will she be the wife? For the seven had her as wife.

¹ For the rest, then brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

¹ Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the ones called in God the Father, having been set apart, and having been kept to Jesus Christ:

⁶ Give back to her as also she gave back to you, and double to her double, according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.

⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all His slaves, and the ones fearing Him, the small and the great. ⁶ And I heard as a sound of a numerous crowd, and as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! Because the Lord God Almighty reigned.

¹⁴ Hope in Jehovah; be strong and He will make strong your heart; yea, hope in Jehovah!

¹¹ Jehovah will give strength to His people; Jehovah will bless His people with peace.

³ You answered me in the day that I cried; You emboldened me in my soul with strength.

⁵ Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob in his help; his hope is on Jehovah his God;

³ Make the weak hands strong, and firm up the feeble knees. ⁴ Say to those of a hasty heart, Be strong! Do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the full dealing of God, He will come and save you.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold! Satan asked for you, to sift you as wheat; ³² but I entreated concerning you, that your faith might not fail. And when you have turned back, confirm your brothers.

¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10 ¹³ And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

¹¹ being empowered with all power according to the might of His glory, to all patience and longsuffering with joy;

¹² Because of this, "straighten the hands" hanging alongside, "and the enfeebled knees;" ¹³ "and make straight tracks for your feet," that the lame not be turned aside, but rather healed. Isa. 35:3; Prov. 4:26

¹⁰ My brothers, as an example of suffering ill, and of longsuffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. ¹¹ Behold, we call those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord, "that the Lord is full of tender mercy and pity." Psa. 103:8

²¹ the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.
