¹⁵ But who saveth from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty, the needy one:

¹⁰ The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.

¹⁴ Thou hast seen it: for thou beholdest mischief and despiteful acts, to requite it with thy hand: unto thee the unfortunate committeth himself; unto the fatherless hast thou ever been a helper.

¹⁷ The longing of the afflicted dost thou hear, O Lord! thou wilt strengthen their heart, thou wilt cause thy ear to listen:

¹⁰ All my bones will say, Lord, who is like unto thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that robbeth him?

⁴ He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.

¹² For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper. ¹³ He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.

⁴¹ And he exalteth the needy from misery, and maketh his families like flocks.

³¹ For he ever standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those that judge his soul.
