1 John 5:13 Cross References - MKJV

¹³ I have written these things to you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

¹² But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,

²³ And as He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, at the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the miracles which He did.

¹⁸ He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

³¹ But these are written so that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life in His name.

²⁴ This is the disciple who testifies of these things and wrote these things. And we know that his testimony is true.

¹⁶ And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, this one whom you see and know, His name made firm. And the faith which came through Him has given him this perfect soundness before you.

¹² And there is salvation in no other One; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

¹⁵ For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father! ¹⁶ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. ¹⁷ And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

⁶ And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, as a pattern to those being about to believe on Him to life everlasting.

¹² I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.

¹⁰ Therefore, brothers, rather be diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, you shall never fall. ¹¹ For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of Life, ² (for the Life was revealed, and we have seen it and bear witness, and show to you the everlasting Life, who was with the Father and was revealed to us),

⁴ And we write these things to you so that your joy may be full.

¹ My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

¹³ I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father. ¹⁴ I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth.

²⁶ These things I have written to you concerning those leading you astray.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

¹⁰ He who believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself. He who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he does not believe the record that God gave of His Son.
