²⁴ So Ezekiel is a sign to you. According to all that he has done, you shall do. And when this comes, you shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

² When you have departed from me today, then you shall find two men by Rachel's tomb in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah. And they will say to you, The asses which you went to seek are found. And, lo, your father has quit caring for the asses and sorrows for you, saying, What shall I do for my son? ³ And you shall go forward from there, and you shall come to the great tree of Tabor. And there you shall meet three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine. ⁴ And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall take from their hand. ⁵ After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is. And it will happen to you when you come there to the city, even you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a harp and a tambourine and a flute and a lyre before them. And they shall prophesy. ⁶ And the spirit of Jehovah will come powerfully on you, and you shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man. ⁷ And it will be when these signs have come to you, you will do for yourself what your hand finds; for God is with you.

¹⁸ Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Jehovah of Hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

³ And Jehovah said, Just as My servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and wonder on Egypt and on Ethiopia;

¹⁵ Behold, they say to me, Where is the Word of Jehovah? Let it come now!

³ And take an iron griddle to yourself, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. And set your face against it, and it shall be under attack. And you shall set a battle against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

⁷ And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

⁹ And My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will repay you according to your ways and your abominations that are in your midst. And you shall know that I am Jehovah who strikes.

²⁷ The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and according to their judgments I will judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

⁶ Before their eyes you shall carry it on your shoulders, carry it out in the dark. You shall cover your face so that you do not see the ground, for I have set you as a sign to the house of Israel.

¹¹ Say, I am your sign: As I have done, so it shall be done to them. They shall go into exile, into captivity.

²⁴ And all the trees of the field shall know that I Jehovah have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish. I Jehovah have spoken and acted.

⁵ And I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the Ammonites a crouching-place for flocks. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

⁷ behold, therefore I will stretch out My hand on you, and will give you as a prize to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the lands. I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

¹¹ And I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁴ And I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel. And they shall do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury. And they shall know My vengeance, says the Lord Jehovah.

¹⁷ And I will execute great vengeance on them with rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall lay My vengeance on them.

² The beginning of Jehovah speaking by Hosea. And Jehovah said to Hosea, Go, take to yourself a wife of adultery and children of adultery. For the land has utterly gone lusting away from Jehovah. ³ So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son. ⁴ And Jehovah said to him, Call his name God Will Sow. But I will utterly take them away. ⁷ But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. ⁸ And when she had weaned No-mercy she conceived and bore a son. ⁹ And He said, Call his name Not-my-people. For you are not My people, and I will not be for you.

¹ And Jehovah said to me, Go again. Love a woman beloved by a friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of Jehovah toward the sons of Israel, who turn to other gods, and love raisin-cakes of grapes. ² So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for a homer of barley and a half homer of barley. ³ And I said to her, You shall abide for me many days. You shall not be a harlot, nor be for a man. And I also will be for you. ⁴ For the sons of Israel shall live many days with no king, and no ruler, and with no sacrifice, and no pillars, and no ephod, or teraphim.

²⁹ But the crowds pressing on Him, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. ³⁰ For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also shall the Son of Man be to this generation.

¹³ And it shall return to you for a testimony.

¹⁹ From now I tell you before it comes, so that when it happens you may believe that I AM.

²⁹ And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens you might believe.

⁴ But I have told you these things so that when the hour shall come you may remember that I told you of them. And I did not say these things to you at the beginning because I was with you.
