⁷ When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; and my prayer came in to You, into Your holy temple.

⁶ And it greatly distressed David, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, each one for his sons and for his daughters. But David encouraged himself in Jehovah his God.

²⁷ And the priests, the Levites, arose and blessed the people. And their voice was heard, and their prayer came to His holy dwelling-place, to Heaven.

⁵ Why are you cast down, O my soul, and moan within me? Hope in God; for I shall praise Him for the salvation of His face.

¹⁰ Who among you fears Jehovah, who obeys the voice of His servant, who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rest on his God.

²¹ I recall this to my mind; therefore I hope. ²² It is by Jehovah's kindnesses that we are not destroyed, because His mercies never fail. ²³ They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ²⁴ Jehovah is my portion, says my soul; therefore I will hope in Him. ²⁵ Jehovah is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. ²⁶ It is good that one should hope for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.

⁴ Then I said, I am cast off from Your eyes, yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.

² Hear, all you people; listen, O earth, and its fullness. And let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.

²⁰ But Jehovah is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him.

⁹ But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, so that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; ¹⁰ who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us,

³ For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.
