And whatever He reveals to me I will tell you. And he went to a high place. ⁴ And God met Balaam. And he said to Him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon the altar a bull and a ram. ⁵ And Jehovah put a word in Balaam's mouth and said, Return to Balak, and so you shall speak. ⁶ And he returned to him. And lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he and all the leaders of Moab. ⁷ And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse Jacob for me, and come, defy Israel. ⁸ How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? Or how shall I defy whom Jehovah has not defied? ⁹ For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him. Lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be counted among the nations. ¹⁰ Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his! ¹¹ And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have kept on blessing them! ¹² And he answered and said, Must I not be careful to speak that which Jehovah has put in my mouth? ¹³ And Balak said to him, Please come with me to another place from where you may see them. You shall see only their edge, and shall not see them all. And curse them from there for me. ¹⁴ And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on every altar. ¹⁵ And he said to Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet Him yonder. ¹⁶ And Jehovah met Balaam and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again to Balak and say this. ¹⁷ And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the leaders of Moab were with him. And Balak said to him, What has Jehovah spoken? ¹⁸ And he took up his parable and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear. Listen to me, son of Zippor. ¹⁹ God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received word to bless. And He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. ²¹ He has not seen iniquity in Jacob, neither has He seen perverseness in Israel. Jehovah his God is with him, and the shout of a king among them. ²² God brought them out of Egypt. He has, as it were, the strength of an ox. ²³ Surely, there is no spell against Jacob, nor any fortune-telling against Israel. According to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What God has worked! ²⁴ Behold, the people shall rise up like a great lion, and lift up himself like a young lion. He shall not lie down until he eats of the prey and drinks the blood of the slain. ²⁵ And Balak said to Balaam, Neither curse them at all nor bless them at all. ²⁶ But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that Jehovah speaks, that I must do? ²⁷ And Balak said to Balaam, Please, come. I will bring you into another place. Perhaps it will please God that you will curse them for me from there. ²⁸ And Balak brought Balaam to the top of Peor that looks toward Jeshimon. ²⁹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build seven altars here for me, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams here for me. ³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on the altar.

²⁴ You shall make an altar of earth to Me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In all places where I record My name I will come to you, and I will bless you.

¹ And you shall make an altar of acacia-wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square. And the height of it shall be three cubits. ² And you shall make the horns of it upon the four corners of it. Its horns shall be of the same, and you shall overlay it with bronze. ³ And you shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its flesh-hooks, and its fire-pans. All the vessels of it you shall make of bronze. ⁴ And you shall make for it a grating, a network of bronze. And upon the net you shall make four bronze rings in the four corners of it. ⁵ And you shall put it under the ledge of the altar beneath, so that the net may be even to the midst of the altar. ⁶ And you shall make staves for the altar, staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with bronze. ⁷ And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to carry it. ⁸ You shall make it hollow with boards; as it was shown you in the mountain, so shall they make it.

²⁹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build seven altars here for me, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams here for me.

³² And on the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

²² And Samuel said, Does Jehovah delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice! To listen is better than the fat of rams!

²² But if you say to me, We trust in Jehovah our God, is He not the one whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

²⁶ And it happened as God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, they offered seven bulls and seven rams.

²¹ And they brought seven bulls and seven rams and seven lambs and seven he-goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of Jehovah.

⁸ And now take to yourselves seven young bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering. And My servant Job will pray for you. Surely I will lift up his face so as not to do with you according to your foolishness, in that you have not spoken of Me what is right, like My servant Job.

⁸ I will not reprove you for your sacrifices; yea, your burnt offerings are continually before Me. ⁹ I will take no bull out of your house, nor he-goats out of your folds.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is a hateful thing to Jehovah, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.

¹¹ To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? says Jehovah; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats. ¹² When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts? ¹³ Bring no more vain sacrifice; incense is an abomination to Me; the new moon and sabbath, the going to meeting; I cannot endure evil and the assembly! ¹⁴ Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; they are a trouble to Me; I am weary to bear them. ¹⁵ And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.

³¹ And they come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words. But they will not do them. For with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their unjust gain.

²³ And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to Jehovah, seven bulls and seven rams, without blemish, daily for the seven days, and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering.

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven against men. For you neither go in, nor do you allow those entering to go in.

¹¹ Woe to them! For they went the way of Cain, and gave themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.

¹⁴ And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on every altar.

³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on the altar.

⁷ And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood. But where is the lamb for a burnt offering? ⁸ And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering. So they both went together.

¹³ And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked. And, behold, a ram behind him was entangled in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

¹² And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. And Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.

¹ And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

⁸ And he said to them, Stay here tonight, and I will bring you word again, as Jehovah shall speak to me. And the leaders of Moab stayed with Balaam. ⁹ And God came to Balaam and said, What men are these with you?

³¹ Then Jehovah opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the Angel of Jehovah standing in the way, and His sword drawn in His hand. And he bowed down his head, and fell on his face. ³² And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why have you beaten your ass these three times? Behold! I went out to be an enemy to you, because your way is perverse before Me. ³³ And the ass saw Me and turned from Me these three times. Unless she had turned from Me, surely now I also would have killed you and saved her alive. ³⁴ And Balaam said to the Angel of Jehovah, I have sinned. For I did not know that You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will go back again. ³⁵ And the Angel of Jehovah said to Balaam, Go with the men. But only the word that I shall speak to you, that you shall speak. So Balaam went with the leaders of Balak.

¹⁵ And he said to Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet Him yonder.

¹ And Balaam saw that it pleased Jehovah to bless Israel, and he did not go, as at other times, to seek for secret arts, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

⁹ And God came to Balaam and said, What men are these with you?

²⁰ And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, If the men come to call you, rise up, go with them. But still, the word which I shall say to you, that you shall do.

¹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare here seven oxen and seven rams for me.

¹⁶ And Jehovah met Balaam and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again to Balak and say this.

³ They say, Why have we fasted, and You do not see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and You take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and crush all your laborers. ⁴ Behold, you fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness; you shall not fast as you do today, to make your voice to be heard on high.

¹² saying, These last have worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

¹² I fast twice on the Sabbath, I give tithes of all that I possess.

² They shall put you out of the synagogue. But an hour is coming that everyone who kills you will think that he bears God service.

²⁷ Then where is the boasting? It is excluded. Through what law? Of works? No, but through the law of faith.

⁹ not of works, lest anyone should boast.

³⁵ And the Angel of Jehovah said to Balaam, Go with the men. But only the word that I shall speak to you, that you shall speak. So Balaam went with the leaders of Balak.

¹⁸ I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brothers, one like you, and will put My words in His mouth. And He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him.

¹ The ordering of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from Jehovah.

⁹ A man's heart plans his way, but Jehovah directs his steps.

¹⁶ And I have put My Words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are My people.

²¹ As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah; My Spirit that is on you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says Jehovah, from now on and forever.

⁹ And Jehovah put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put My Words in your mouth.

¹² For the Holy Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.

⁵¹ And he did not speak this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for the nation;

⁷ and Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and had gone to Padan-aram;

⁵ He sent messengers therefore to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, by the river of the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold! A people come out from Egypt. Behold! They cover the face of the earth, and they are staying across from me. ⁶ Therefore, I pray you, come now and curse this people for me. For they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall prevail so that we may strike them, and so that I may drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.

¹¹ Behold! A people has come out of Egypt which covers the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me. Perhaps, I shall be able to overcome them and drive them out.

¹⁷ For I will raise you up to very great honor, and I will do whatever you say to me. Please come then and curse this people for me.

¹⁰ And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day. Give me a man, and we will fight together.

²⁵ And the men of Israel said, Have you seen this man that has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel. And it shall be, the king will enrich the man who kills him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel. ²⁶ And David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man who kills this Philistine and takes away this shame from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?

³⁶ Your servant killed both the lion and the bear. And this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.

⁴⁵ And David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of Jehovah of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

⁹ And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there to battle; and the men of Israel had gone up;

⁴ In that day one shall take up a parable against you and mourn a mourning of mournings, saying, We shall be completely laid waste. He has exchanged the share of my people. How He has removed it from me! To the apostate He has divided our fields.

⁶ Shall not all these lift up a parable against him, and a mocking riddle to him, and say, Woe to him who increases what is not his! Until when, then, shall he load the pledges on himself?

³³ He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened.

³⁵ so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

¹² And they sought to seize him, but feared the crowd. For they knew that He spoke the parable against them. And leaving Him, they went away.

Perhaps you will be able to profit; perhaps you may bring terror. ¹³ You are exhausted by your many plans; now let the astrologers stand up and save you, the stargazers, making known what is coming on you into the new moons.

⁵ And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth is Mine. ⁶ And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

¹⁶ For in what shall it be known that I and Your people have found grace in Your sight? Is it not in that You go with us? So we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

⁸ When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the sons of Israel.

²⁸ And Israel shall dwell in safety alone; the fountain of Jacob in a land of grain and wine; and his heavens shall drop down dew.

² For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons. So the holy seed has mixed themselves with the people of those lands. Yes, the hand of the leaders and overseers has been chief in this sin.

⁸ And Haman said to King Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people, in all the provinces of your kingdom. And their laws are different from all people, neither do they keep the king's laws. And it is not for the king's gain to allow them to live.

²⁸ Do not fear, O Jacob My servant, says Jehovah, for I am with you. For I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you. But I will not make a full end of you, but correct you in measure; yet I will not leave you wholly unpunished.

⁹ For lo, I will command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as one shakes with a sieve, yet not a grain shall fall to the earth.

⁸ And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, ⁹ and that the nations might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written, "For this cause I will confess to You in the nations, and I will praise Your name." ¹⁰ And again He says, "Rejoice, O nations, with His people."

¹⁷ Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you

¹² and that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He is our peace, He making us both one, and He has broken down the middle wall of partition between us,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

¹⁶ And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can count the dust of the earth, then shall your seed also be counted.

¹⁷ that in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And your Seed shall possess the gate of His enemies.

¹⁴ And your seed shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your Seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

⁹ All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were a hundred and eighty-six thousand and four hundred, by their armies. They shall set forth first.

¹⁶ All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were a hundred fifty-one thousand, four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the second rank.

²⁴ All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were a hundred eight thousand, one hundred, by their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.

³¹ All those who were numbered in the camp of Dan were a hundred fifty-seven thousand, six hundred. They shall go last with their banners.

³⁷ Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of His saints.

³² The wicked is driven away in his wickedness, but the righteous has hope in his death.

¹ The righteous one perishes, and no one lays it to heart, and merciful men are taken away; no one cares that the righteous is taken away from the face of evil. ² He shall enter into peace; they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

²⁹ Lord, now You will let Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word. ³⁰ For my eyes have seen Your Salvation

²¹ Therefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours, ²² whether it is Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours,

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and when this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory. ⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ²² But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor. Yet I do not know what I shall choose. ²³ For I am pressed together by the two: having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.

⁶ For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is here. ⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.

¹³ But I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by a reminder, ¹⁴ knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle is soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. ¹⁵ And I will also be diligent to cause you to always have memory of these things after my departure.

¹³ And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they shall rest from their labors, and their works follow them.

¹⁰ And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam. And he struck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have kept on blessing these three times.

² because they did not meet the sons of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them so that he should curse them. But our God turned the curse into a blessing.

¹⁷ Yea, he loved cursing, so let it come to him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him. ¹⁸ As he clothed himself with cursing, as with his robe, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as the robe which covers him, and for a girdle with which he is always clothed. ²⁰ This is the reward of my foes from Jehovah, and of them who speak evil against my soul.

³⁸ And Balaam said to Balak, Lo, I have come to you. Have I now any power at all to say anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that I shall speak.

²⁶ But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that Jehovah speaks, that I must do?

¹³ If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the mouth of Jehovah, to do good or bad of my own mind. What Jehovah said, that I will speak.

²⁵ When he makes his voice gracious, do not believe him; for seven hateful things are in his heart.

¹⁸ For they who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches they deceive the hearts of the simple.

¹⁶ They profess that they know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and reprobate to every good work.

⁴¹ And it happened on the next day Balak took Balaam and brought him up into the high places of Baal, so that from there he might see the edge of the people.

⁹ Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you.

²³ And the servants of the king of Syria said to him, Their gods are gods of the hills. On account of this they were stronger than we were. But let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

²⁸ And a man of God came near and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, So says Jehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys, therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁷ Yea, he loved cursing, so let it come to him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him.

⁵ O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab planned, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

⁹ By this we bless God, even the Father. And by this we curse men, who have come into being according to the image of God. ¹⁰ Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

²⁰ and from Bamoth in the valley, in the country of Moab, they worked to the top of Pisgah, which looks toward the wilderness.

¹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare here seven oxen and seven rams for me. ² And Balak did as Balaam had spoken. And Balak and Balaam offered on the altar a bull and a ram.

²⁷ Go up into the top of Pisgah and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward, and behold it with your eyes. For you shall not go over this Jordan.

⁴⁹ and all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the plain, under the Slopes of Pisgah.

¹ And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah that is opposite Jericho. And Jehovah showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

¹⁰ Hear the Word of Jehovah, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the Law of our God, people of Gomorrah. ¹¹ To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? says Jehovah; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats.

⁶ They pour gold out of the bag, and weigh silver out of the measuring rod, and hire a goldsmith; and he makes it a god; they fall down, yea, they bow down.

¹¹ Is there iniquity in Gilead? Surely they are vanity; they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal. Yes, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

⁸ And he said to them, Stay here tonight, and I will bring you word again, as Jehovah shall speak to me. And the leaders of Moab stayed with Balaam.

³ And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps Jehovah will come to meet me. And whatever He reveals to me I will tell you. And he went to a high place.

⁵ And Jehovah put a word in Balaam's mouth and said, Return to Balak, and so you shall speak.

¹⁷ And he said, What is the word which He has said to you? Please do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide a thing from me of all the words that He said to you.

¹⁷ And Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. And the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any Word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. For, He said, you shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

²⁰ And Ehud came to him. And he was sitting in the cool roof room which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God to you. And he rose out of his seat.

²⁹ And also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor repent, for He is not a man that He should repent.

¹⁷ And this was a small thing in Your eyes, O God, for You have also spoken of Your servant's house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O Jehovah God.

³⁵ Once I have sworn by My holiness that I will not lie to David.

⁹ I will not carry out the heat of My anger; I will not return to destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst; and I will not enter into the city.

²⁰ You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

³ For the vision is still for an appointed time, but it speaks to the end, and it does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it; because it will surely come. It will not tarry.

⁶ For I am Jehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.

³³ The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.

²⁹ For the free gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

² on hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times,

¹⁸ so that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us,

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning.

² And I will make you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing.

¹⁸ And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah my God, to do less or more.

¹³ Yea, before the day was, I am He; and no one delivers out of My hand; I will work, and who will reverse it?

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. ²⁸ And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.

³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ by the power of God, having been kept through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;

²¹ And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the right away, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, to go by day and night.

⁴⁵ And I will dwell among the sons of Israel, and will be their God. ⁴⁶ And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt so that I may dwell among them. I am Jehovah their God.

¹⁴ And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. ¹⁵ And he said to Him, If Your presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here. ¹⁶ For in what shall it be known that I and Your people have found grace in Your sight? Is it not in that You go with us? So we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

⁹ And he said, If now I have found grace in Your sight, O Jehovah, I pray You, let my Lord go among us. For it is a stiff-necked people. And pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your inheritance.

⁵ And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered.

¹³ And Gideon said to Him, O, my Lord, if Jehovah is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up from Egypt? But now Jehovah has forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

¹² And behold, God Himself is with us as Commander, and His priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against Jehovah, the God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!

⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

² Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not charge iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

⁵ I confessed my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgression to Jehovah; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

⁵ God has gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet. ⁶ Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our King, sing praise. ⁷ For God is King of all the earth; sing praises with understanding.

¹⁵ Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Jehovah, in the light of Your face. ¹⁶ In Your name they shall rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness they shall be lifted up. ¹⁷ For You are the glory of their strength; and in Your favor our horn shall be lifted up. ¹⁸ For Jehovah is our shield; yea, our King is the Holy One of Israel.

¹ Jehovah reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of islands be glad.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Jehovah does mighty things.

¹⁸ Come now, and let us reason together, says Jehovah; though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.

¹⁰ Counsel a counsel, and it is frustrated. Speak a word, and it shall not stand; for God is with us.

⁶ Cry out and shout, O dweller of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

²² For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah is our lawgiver, Jehovah is our king; He will save us.

¹⁷ Behold, I had great bitterness for peace; but You loved my soul from the pit of destruction. You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

¹⁰ Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

²⁰ In those days, and at that time, says Jehovah, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and it shall not be found; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

³⁵ All around it shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that day shall be JEHOVAH IS THERE.

² Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously, that we may repay with the calves of our lips. ³ Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses. Nor shall we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods, for in You the fatherless finds mercy. ⁴ I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

²³ "Behold, the virgin shall conceive in her womb, and will bear a son. And they will call His name Emmanuel," which being interpreted is, God with us.

³⁷ And when He had come near, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, ³⁸ saying, Blessed is the King coming in the name of the Lord! Peace in Heaven and glory in the highest!

⁷ saying, "Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; ⁸ blessed is the man to whom the Lord will in no way impute sin."

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and He revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place.

¹⁹ whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us.

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁶ And for this I have made you stand, to make you see My power, to declare My name in all the land.

¹⁸ And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah when I have gotten honor for Me upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

² I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁵ He sent messengers therefore to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, by the river of the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold! A people come out from Egypt. Behold! They cover the face of the earth, and they are staying across from me.

⁸ God brought him forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of an ox. He shall eat up the nations, his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

¹⁷ His glory is like the first-born of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of the wild ox. With them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

⁹ Will the wild ox be willing to serve you, or spend the night by your feed-trough? ¹⁰ Can you tie the wild ox in the furrow with his rope? Or will he harrow the valleys for you? ¹¹ Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?

²¹ Save Me from the lion's mouth; from the wild oxen's horns. You have answered Me.

³⁵ O God, You are overwhelming out of Your holy places; the God of Israel is He who gives strength and powers to the people. Blessed is God.

¹⁰ But You shall lift up my horn as the wild ox; and I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

⁶ Therefore, I pray you, come now and curse this people for me. For they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall prevail so that we may strike them, and so that I may drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed. ⁷ And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian pulled up stakes with the rewards of divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and spoke the words of Balak to him.

²² The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, with the sword, among their slain.

¹⁹ How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You; You have worked for those who trust in You before the sons of men!

¹ To the Chief Musician. For the sons of Korah, a contemplation. We have heard with our ears, O God; our fathers have told us the work which You did in their days, in the days of old. ² You drove out the nations with Your hand, and planted them; You brought evil on peoples and cast them out. ³ For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your face, because You favored them.

⁹ And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall in wisdom think of His doing.

² Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then they said among the nations, Jehovah has done great things with them. ³ Great things did Jehovah to work with us and we are glad.

¹³ to Him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁴ and made Israel to pass through the middle of it; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁵ but threw Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for His mercy endures forever. ¹⁶ To Him who led His people through the wilderness; for His mercy endures forever. ¹⁷ To Him who struck great kings; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁸ and killed famous kings; for His mercy endures forever: ¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites; for His mercy endures forever; ²⁰ and Og the king of Bashan; for His mercy endures forever;

⁴ Who has planned and done it, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, Jehovah, am the first and the last; I am He.

⁹ In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old. ¹⁰ But they rebelled, and troubled His Holy Spirit; therefore He was turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them. ¹¹ Then He remembered the days of old, Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him; ¹² who led them by the right hand of Moses with His glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make Himself an everlasting name?

¹⁵ And now, O Lord our God, who have brought Your people out from the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have brought fame to Yourself, as it is today, we have sinned, we have done wrong.

⁴ For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of slaves; and I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam before you. ⁵ O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab planned, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

¹⁵ According to the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt I will show to him marvelous things.

²⁵ And Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.

²⁷ But if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

¹⁸ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

¹⁸ And He said to them, I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning. ¹⁹ Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

⁴⁷ Then the chief priests and Pharisees gathered a sanhedrin, and said, What can we do? For this man does many miracles.

¹⁶ saying, What shall we do to these men? For that indeed a notable miracle has been done by them is plain to all those dwelling in Jerusalem. And we cannot deny it.

¹² And many miracles and wonders were done among the people by the hands of the apostles; and they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.

¹⁴ and more believing ones were added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women;

³⁸ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and He went about doing good, and healing all those who were oppressed by the Devil, for God was with Him.

¹² And all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring what miracles and wonders God had worked among the nations through them.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

²³ But only they were hearing that he who then persecuted us, now preaches the faith which he once ravaged. ²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁸ For from you the Word of the Lord sounded out, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to speak anything. ⁹ For they themselves witness what kind of entrance we had to you, even how you turned from idols to God in order to serve the living and true God,

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁹ Judah is a lion's whelp. My son, you have gone up from the prey. He stooped, he crouched like a lion; and like a lioness, who shall rouse him?

²⁷ Benjamin is a wolf that tears in pieces. In the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

⁸ God brought him forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of an ox. He shall eat up the nations, his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. ⁹ He crouched. He lay down as a lion, and as a great lion. Who shall stir him up? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.

¹⁷ I shall see him, but not now. I shall behold him, but not near. There shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall strike the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.

²⁰ And of Gad he said, Blessed is He who makes Gad greater. He lives as a lion and tears the arm and the crown of the head.

¹² their likeness is like a lion that longs to tear, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.

³⁰ a lion is mighty among beasts and does not turn away for any;

⁴ For so has Jehovah spoken to me: As the lion roars, even the young lion on his prey when a multitude of shepherds are gathered against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor fret himself because of their noise. So Jehovah of Hosts shall come down to fight for Mount Zion, and on its hill.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other peoples, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

⁸ The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord Jehovah has spoken; who will not prophesy?

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goes through, both tramples and tears in pieces. And there is none to snatch back. ⁹ Your hand shall be high above your foes, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

¹¹ Where is the den of the lions, and the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, and the lion's cub, and no one made them afraid?

⁴ Out of Him came the cornerstone; out of Him the nail; out of Him the battle bow; out of Him every oppressor together. ⁵ And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because Jehovah is with them, and they shall make the riders on horses ashamed.

⁶ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left hand. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her place, in Jerusalem.

⁵ And one of the elders said to me, Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book and to loose the seven seals of it.

¹¹ And I saw Heaven opened. And behold, a white horse! And He sitting on him was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² And His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head many crowns. And He had a name written, one that no one knew except Himself. ¹³ And He had been clothed in a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, so that with it He should strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His garment, and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slave, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth and their armies, being gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet doing signs before it, (by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast), and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword of Him who sat on the horse, it proceeding out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.

¹ Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate on a vain thing? ² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers plot together, against Jehovah and against His anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bands in two and cast away their cords from us.

¹² And he answered and said, Must I not be careful to speak that which Jehovah has put in my mouth? ¹³ And Balak said to him, Please come with me to another place from where you may see them. You shall see only their edge, and shall not see them all. And curse them from there for me.

¹² And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not speak also to your messengers whom you sent to me, saying, ¹³ If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the mouth of Jehovah, to do good or bad of my own mind. What Jehovah said, that I will speak.

¹⁴ And Micaiah said, As Jehovah lives, what Jehovah says to me, that I will speak.

¹³ And Micaiah said, As the Lord lives, even what my God says, that I will speak.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered and said to them, Whether it is right before God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. ²⁰ For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

²⁹ And Peter and the apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

¹³ And Balak said to him, Please come with me to another place from where you may see them. You shall see only their edge, and shall not see them all. And curse them from there for me.

¹⁹ God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received word to bless. And He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

¹³ But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? Yea, what His soul desires, He does it.

²¹ There are many purposes in a man's heart, but the counsel of Jehovah shall stand.

³⁰ There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Jehovah.

²⁷ For Jehovah of Hosts has purposed, and who shall reverse it? And His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

¹⁰ declaring the end from the beginning, and from the past things which were not done, saying, My purpose shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure; ¹¹ calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my purpose from a far country. Yes, I have spoken, I will also cause it to come; I have formed; yes, I will do it.

²⁸ And they joined themselves to Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead,
