¹ I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you

¹⁵ who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another,

¹⁶ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

¹² For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity; not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God; we have had our conduct in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

²³ And I call God as witness to my soul that in order to spare you I have not yet come to Corinth.

¹⁰ The truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be silenced in me in the regions of Achaia.

³¹ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I do not lie.

¹⁹ Again, do you think we are defending ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ, but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your building up.

²⁰ And what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie.

⁸ For God is my witness how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

⁵ For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness; God is witness.

⁵ But the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned,

⁷ To this I am ordained a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie), a teacher of the nations, in faith and truth.

²¹ I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

¹⁹ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him, ²⁰ that if our heart accuses us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence toward God.
