8 And David was displeased, because Jehovah had broken forth upon Uzzah. And he called that place Perez-uzzah, to this day. 9 And David was afraid of Jehovah that day and he said, How will the ark of Jehovah come to me?
10 So David would not remove the ark of Jehovah to him into the city of David, but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. 11 And the ark of Jehovah remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months and Jehovah blessed Obed-edom and all his house.
12 And it was told king David, saying, Jehovah has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that pertains to him, because of the ark of God. And David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with joy. 13 And it was so, that, when those who bore the ark of Jehovah had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatten sheep.
14 And David danced before Jehovah with all his might. And David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of Jehovah with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 And it was so, as the ark of Jehovah came into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window and saw king David leaping and dancing before Jehovah and she despised him in her heart.
17 And they brought in the ark of Jehovah and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it. And David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Jehovah. 18 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah of hosts.
19 And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, both to men and women, to every one a cake of bread and a portion of flesh and a cake of raisins. So all the people departed every one to his house.
20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, How glorious was the King of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!
21 And David said to Michal, It was before Jehovah, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Jehovah, over Israel. Therefore I will play before Jehovah. 22 And I will be yet more vile than this and will be humble in my own sight, but of the handmaids of whom you have spoken, of them I will be had in honor.
23 And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.

2 Samuel 5:1

1 Then all the tribes of Israel came to David to Hebron and spoke, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.

1 Kings 8:1

1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to king Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.

And Jehovah blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that he had.

Psalms 132:1-6

1 Jehovah, remember for David all his affliction, 2 how he swore to Jehovah and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed, 4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids, 5 until I find out a place for Jehovah, a tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob.

And they will be to you* for a memorial before your* God: I am Jehovah your* God.

Joshua 6:4-5

4 And seven priests will bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. And the seventh day you* will encompass the city seven times and the priests will blow the trumpets. 5 And it will be, that, when they make a prolonged blast with the ram's horn and when you* hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people will shout with a great shout.
