⁸ And Abraham said, God himself will see to the lamb for a burnt offering, my son. So they went both of them together.

⁶ Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me. Whole burnt offering and sacrifice for sin you did not require. ⁷ Then I said, Behold, I have come as it is written of me in the scroll of a book.
⁸ I delight to do your will, O my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.

¹⁹ Then you spoke in a vision to your holy ones and said, I have laid help upon a mighty man. I have exalted a chosen man out of the people.
²⁰ I have found David my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

²¹ And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you* in it when you* turn to the right hand and when you* turn to the left.

⁷ Cleanse out the old leaven, in order that you may be a new batch, just-as you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has also been sacrificed on our behalf. ⁸ So-then we should celebrate a festival, not in old leaven, nor in the leaven of malice and wickedness, but in the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

¹³ No temptation has taken you except common human temptations, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to undergo, but together with the temptation, he will also make an outlet.

⁹ But, we ourselves have had the verdict of death in ourselves, in order that we should not have confidence in ourselves, but in God, who is raising up the dead; ¹⁰ who rescued us out of so-great a death and is rescuing us; in whom we have hoped that he will also still be rescuing us.
