⁸ Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, The word of Jehovah which you have spoken is good. He said moreover, For there will be peace and truth in my days.

³ Then Moses said to Aaron, This is it that Jehovah spoke, saying, I will be made holy by those who come near me. And I will be glorified before all the people. And Aaron remained silent.

¹⁸ And Samuel told him every whit and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is Jehovah. Let him do what seems him good.

⁹ I was mute. I did not open my mouth, because you did it.

²² It is of Jehovah's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassions do not fail.

³⁹ Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

¹⁶ These are the things that you* will do: Speak to every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your* gates.

¹⁹ Jehovah of hosts says thus: The fast of the fourth month and the fast of the fifth and the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth, will be to the house of Judah, joy and gladness and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.

⁶ Therefore humble yourselves under the powerful hand of God, in order that he may exalt you in time;
